Dearly Beloved 6/30/18 "God Wants You Delivered"

God Wants You Delivered

Dearly beloved, your prayer requests get to my heart; just think how much more they get to our Heavenly Father’s heart. He promises to do the heavy lifting; we just ask Him to do it and believe that He will according to His Word.

On an occasion when his disciples were unsuccessful in curing a man’s son, Jesus’ disciples asked him why they could not get the job done.

“And Jesus said unto them, ‘Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you. Howbeit this kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting.’”

The fasting he spoke of is mentioned in Isaiah 58:6. First, He tells them what it is not in verses 1-5, and then in verse 6 He says: “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?”

Dearly Beloved 6/29/18 "I Want To Talk About You"

I Want to Talk About You

Dearly beloved, you are why God created the heavens and the earth; He did it for you. He wanted to make a home for His family and He did it out of love for His children.

Everything from the over one hundred thousand varieties in the vegetable kingdom to the vast expanse of the Milky Way exist because of you. You are the reason for the creation of the atom to the power source of the sun.

You are the Heavenly Father’s dearly beloved. You are the reason for His creation. He designed every law and principle that governs its operation and continuance for you.

Everything He did for you was very good; well-ordered in every facet. You are the reason for the existence of beauty, fragrance, order, and abundance.

Dearly Beloved 6/28/18 "How Do You Know?"

How Do You Know?

Dearly beloved, there are two gods: the One True God, who is the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the devil, who is the prince of this evil world. Both are spirit beings and they work in the spiritual realm, a realm that cannot be known by the five senses, or by one’s experiences.

The One True God is light, not darkness, and His Word is true and faithful.

The devil is the liar, there is no truth in him. He is the deceiver of this world; he would deceive the very elect if it were possible. Listening to his words lead to catastrophic consequences.

God plainly reveals Himself to us in His Word, while the devil cloches himself in darkness so that he is not easily detected.

Dearly Beloved 6/26/18 "The Truth About Reality"

The Truth About Reality

Dearly beloved, “if in this life only we are having hope in Christ, we are more to be pitied than all men,” but that is not the reality. Christ accomplished the mission that God sent him to accomplish, and to validate his accomplishment God raised him from the dead.

Jesus Christ is the only man to die and to be raised to eternal life. He is the firstborn from the dead among many brethren that will rise, also. He is the first fruit of the harvest that lies ahead.

Now the victor over sin and death sits at the right hand of God: “Far above every ruler and authority and power and lordship, even above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the coming age. God put all things in subjection under his feet and made him head over all things in the Church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all things in all people.”

Dearly Beloved 6/25/18 "Fear Not!"

Fear Not!

Dearly beloved, God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. If these were my words they would hold little authority, but they are not; these are God’s words and He stands behind every one of them; fear not, God is for us!

We do not wrestle against people, even though it may appear as such by our senses; “we wrestle against the authorities, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against spirits of wickedness in the heavenly realm.”

We live in an evil age, an evil generation, an evil day, the day that the wicked rule the earth under the influence of the wicked one; just turn on the news if you question it. We live in turbulent times.

“And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God….”

Even though we wake to tempest tossed seas, God exhorts that He is our sufficiency in all of them. He is the power that works in us. He is our Father who cares for us.

Dearly Beloved 6/24/18 "I Have a Dream"

I Have a Dream

Dearly beloved of God, I have a dream. This dream is not a worldly vision, but a heavenly one. It is not a fanciful vision out of my mind; it is the purpose of God that He will bring to pass by His almighty power.

Dearly beloved, I dream of acquiring the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ at his coming because He chose us from the beginning to salvation through sanctification of the spirit and belief of the truth. He sealed us with His spirit to this end.

I have a dream dearly beloved; a dream of being delivered from the fear of death that imprisons people in this life. I have a dream; a dream of mortality being swallowed up of life. I have a dream; a dream of the dead in Christ rising to meet the Lord in the air.

Dearly Beloved 6/23/18 "God is Light"

God is Light

Dearly beloved, God is light; there is no darkness in Him. He does not vary from one day to the next. He is the same today as He was yesterday and so is His will. He plainly reveals Himself to us in His Word. His Word is the same today as it was from the beginning; it is the same. His Word is like Him; true and faithful.

He does not heal one day and then turn around and afflict you with sickness the next to humble you. He does not save one day and then destroy you the next. He does not prosper you one day and then reduce you to poverty the next. God is light. There is no darkness in Him; He doesn’t even cast a shadow when He turns; He is light.

His will is only good concerning us, dearly beloved. He leads people to a change of heart by His goodness. He sent Christ and he accomplished his mission according to the good pleasure of His will. This may seem elementary, yet many do not understand this foundational truth.

Father, we pray for open doors to speak your Word and to minister as your able ministers who are filled with your spirit. We pray for more boldness Father so that we might do your will today.

Dearly Beloved 6/21/18 "Grace and Peace"

Grace and Peace

To all of you, beloved of God, called saints: grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. There were mornings I did not know about the grace of God or have His peace in my life, but then came the day that someone told me about them. When I heard those words, it was as if I had been raised from death unto life. I was a new man in Christ.

God freely justified us by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Being justified by believing in Christ and his accomplishments, we have peace with God; it’s an accomplished reality.

Through Christ we have access into this grace, this undeserved divine favor in which we now stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God that we will receive at his coming. We will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, dearly beloved.

Dearly Beloved 6/20/18 "Enlightened Understanding"

Enlightened Understanding

Dearly beloved, God reveals Himself to us through His written Word, the Scriptures. The Scriptures are His revelation, His revealing of Himself; they make known His will to us and they provide us with enlightened understanding.

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe.” I Thessalonians 2:13

We must receive the truth of the Word of God from God if we are to know His will. If we are to know Him and what He makes available to us, we must know the Word of God from God.

Dearly Beloved 6/19/18 "The Power for Abundant Living"

The Power for Abundant Living

Dearly beloved, God is at work in you today. He will lead and guide you by His Word and His spirit that is born within you. The power of His spirit enables you to deal with whatever you may face. “He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. He does not do all things through you as if you were a medium or a channel; you can do all things through the power of Christ within you.

You have the power of Christ in you! You have the power to worship in spirit and truth, the power to edify the church, the power to hear God’s voice and receive His wisdom and to discern spirits, the power to heal the sick, the power to minister deliverance to those in need, the power to cast out devil spirits, the power to work miracles; the power to bring revelation to pass; the power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, dearly beloved.

Dearly Beloved 6/18/18 "Who Knows What?"

Who Knows What?

Dearly beloved of God, the Lord Jesus Christ knew that he died for our sins so that we could be forgiven and that he was made sick with our sicknesses so that we might be healed. He knew that he must die so that we could have everlasting life. Knowing these things, he endured torture, and endured the shame of being crucified in our stead. He knew what he was doing and what it meant and he remembers it to this day.

What Jesus did for one, he did for all. There was no respect of persons involved with what he accomplished; his
accomplishments are the same for every one of us. He knows what he accomplished. He fulfilled the Father’s will and accomplished what none of us could achieve, not individually or collectively.

What he had to do was written down. What it accomplished was written down. God expressed His will in writing so that we could know the certainty of it. God knows what Jesus Christ accomplished and He remembers what it means to us.

Dearly Beloved 6/17/18 "Father's Day"

Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day to all of you Dads. Dearly beloved, the world celebrates father’s once every year, but we should celebrate our Heavenly Father every day.

He not only gave birth to us, He cares for us as our Father.

He gave us His Word so that we can know the good pleasure of His will. He instructs us as we instruct our children so that we may be successful in life. He educates us with His Word concerning spiritual matters so that we know what is important and we know how to deal with whatever may arise.

He makes sure that we are fully equipped for anything that comes up in life. He works with us so that we can grow in the grace and knowledge of His wonderful Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and his accomplishments.

Dearly Beloved 6/16/18 "Oh, What a Life"

Oh, What a Life

Dearly beloved, you live; yet not you, but Christ lives in you: and the life which you now live in the flesh you live by the believing of the Son of God, who loved you, and gave himself for you! It is now Christ in you, the hope of glory!

The first man, Adam, became a living soul; the last Adam, Jesus Christ, became a life-giving spirit. As humans we all partake of the soul life that Adam passed on to us as his progeny. As Christians we all partake of the spirit-life of Christ in you.

We are no longer just humans with a soul life existence; since Christ lives in us, we have spirit life because the spirit now dwells in us. We have the spirit from Him that raised Jesus from the dead now dwelling in us; we have spirit-life in these mortal bodies. That spirit not only gives us life today, it will give us everlasting life when Christ Jesus our Lord returns!

Dearly Beloved 6/15/18 "God Says, he Says"

God Says, he Says

Dearly beloved, you are of God. Think of that! You are of God and being of God you have overcome the world and the wicked one, and sin and death. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus who loves you. He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

Jesus Christ spoke His Father’s words; they were not his own, and that’s why his words were powerful. How about us? We should say what the Father says if we are to manifest His power in our lives.

God is the power behind His Word. He stands behind His Word the same as you stand behind the check you write. He promises to make good on it as you do on your check.

Dearly Beloved 6/14/18 "Stand and Be Delivered"

Stand and Be Delivered

Dearly beloved, other than God our Father and His wonderful Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, it does not matter who “endorses” our ministering, writing, or speaking. When we speak God’s Word, He establishes it by His power and might. It does not matter what the world thinks; their opinion is worthless concerning spiritual matters.

Say what the Word of God says regardless of what people may say, dearly beloved. Signs, miracles, and wonders follow believing, not groups, not political factions, not sincere religious causes; they follow believing what God says.

When you say what God says, you are standing on holy ground. His Word is His Will and we should pursue it with our whole heart so that we can think it, believe it, obey it, walk in it, and speak it. We will be judged by His Word; not by worldly standards.

Dearly Beloved 6/13/18 "Lost in God's Forgetfulness"

Lost in God’s Forgetfulness

Dearly beloved, you’ve been forgiven!

You don’t have to earn God’s forgiveness; Jesus Christ earned it for you. You were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you received the gift of holy spirit.

Forgiveness is inherent in the new birth. When you confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead, you were saved, forgiven, and you received the gift of holy spirit.

God does not bring up your past sins; the adversary does. God does not condemn you; the adversary does. God does not hold your past over your head, just ask Moses, or Paul; the adversary does.

Dearly Beloved 6/12/18 "Confess It"

Confess It

Dearly beloved, new things have come, and God freely gave them all to us with Christ. “If God be for us, who can be against us?” “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him That loved us.” These are new realities.

Dearly Beloved 6/11/18 "What's In The Box?"

What’s in the Box?

Dearly beloved, we should never put our God in a box and limit Him by our limited understanding.

God created the heavens and the earth, He parted the sea, led the children of Israel under a cloud for 40 years, fed them with manna from heaven, and gave them water out of the rock. He made the sun stand still in battle until His enemies were utterly defeated. He brought down the walls of Jericho.

Time and time again, He exceeded human expectations in impossible situations. He provided childless Abraham a son when he was about 100 years old. He made him a father of many nations in the face of his inadequacy because He believed what God said to him.

Dearly Beloved 6/10/18 "Don't Be Confused"

Don’t Be Confused

Dearly beloved, our hope is in Christ, to be received up with him in glory. He will gather us up together in the clouds to meet him in the air, and from that point on we will be with the Lord.

Will Christ Jesus come as a thief in the night to gather us unto him? No, his coming will be announced: he will descend from heaven with an assembling shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. He will give the summons for every member of the body of Christ to assemble to meet him in the air, both those who have died and those who are yet alive.

He will transform our mortal, death doomed bodies to be fashioned like his glorious body by the working whereby he is able to subdue all things to himself.

Dearly Beloved 6/9/18 "Today's Endless Possibilities

Today’s Endless Possibilities

Just think of the possibilities this day might hold, dearly beloved; they are endless.

Hopefully you will worship God in spirit and truth. Your Heavenly Father seeks such to worship Him. You may intercede on someone else's behalf, also.

As you are working the Word of God today, He may show you truths that could change your life forever.

You might manifest healing or minister healing to someone else so that they are delivered from the oppression of the devil.

Dearly Beloved 6/8/18 "Blessed Assurance"

Blessed Assurance

Dearly beloved of God…. I’m sorry, but every time I write these words I am overwhelmed that the One True and Living God would love me to the end that He gave His only begotten Son for me so that I could be a son of God, have a life that is more than abundant, and a hope of obtaining the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

God chooses His words carefully, they mean what He says, and He says what He means. His words are not hypocritical, and He does not lie or use them deceitfully. They are true and faithful.

Has He spoken, and shall He not do it? Is His arm shortened that He cannot deliver? Dearly beloved, His Word, like Him, is living, faithful, true, and He is the power behind every one of them. He will perform them; His Word is His Will.

Lord, Open My Eyes

Dearly beloved, God is with you and in you in every situation that you will face today.

There was a time when the king of Syria warred against Israel. Elisha was a faithful prophet in Israel at that time.

Time after time he told the king of Israel where the Syrians were going to attack them. The king of Syria thought that one of his top men was leaking top secret information to the king of Israel because every sneak attack he planned was exposed before it took place.

Dearly Beloved 6/6/18 "All of Them"

All of Them

Dearly beloved, our loving heavenly Father will freely give us all things with Christ. Remember that today.

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him [Christ] also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32

We do not earn them; He freely gives them to us with Christ.
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches; comparing [to compare, to estimate or draw a conclusion by comparison] spiritual things with spiritual [words].” I Corinthians 2:12, 13

Dearly Beloved 6/5/18 "Know Your Purpose"

Know Your Purpose

Dearly beloved, as we face a new day, let’s consider the reason for what we are about to do.

What is our purpose or goal? Is it to make a pile of money, or to be a success in the eyes of the world, or to achieve political ends? No. We should live with eternity in view.

It will take our Heavenly Father the ages to come to demonstrate the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ.

This is why He purposed all that He purposed in Christ. This is why He sent His Son to save and redeem us. All of it was to accomplish the purpose of the ages that He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord so that He could bless us with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Dearly Beloved 6/4/18 "The Object of Believing"

The Object of Believing

Dearly beloved, what is “faith”? “Faith” is the Greek word pistis. It is a noun. The verb form is pisteuo, which means, “to believe.”

Even though these two words come from the same root in the Greek, you could not tell it by the English translation. The word “faith” means the same as the word “believe”; they are interchangeable. Faith or believing is to have trust and confidence that God will perform His Word.

God is responsible for bringing His Word to pass as He said He would. Our responsibility is to take God at His Word; to believe what He says.

There is power in believing because we are putting our trust and confidence in a Living God, that is able and willing to perform His Word. Believing says that God is all-powerful, and He is faithful to keep His Word.

God is the object of our believing. It is not to bring things to pass by our positive thinking. We are not the object of faith; God is. He performs His Word as we believe Him.

Dearly Beloved 6/3/18 "Old Versus New"

Old Versus New

Dearly beloved, we are no longer of this world; we are citizens of the heavenly realm and we should live and conduct ourselves as citizens that are worthy of the gospel of Christ.

The citizens of this world are consumed with different issues than we are. They do not have the hope that we have, the sonship rights that we enjoy, the privileged access to the One Living and True God that is ours in Christ, the salvation that is ours in Christ, nor the ability to deal with situations according to the power of God as we do.

The citizens of the world are preoccupied with worldly issues and strive to solve them with their natural abilities. The so-called god of this world blows them to and fro with his lies.

Be A Helper

Dearly beloved, we can help one another by our prayer requests for one another. Our Father beseeches us to pray for one another.

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints….” Ephesians 6:18

God does not give revelation lightly. These are God-breathed words, dearly beloved. Considering the revelation that precedes this verse it makes this truth even more urgent. Time and again our Father exhorts us to pray for one another.

Dearly Beloved 6/1/18 "Are You Challenged?"

Are You Challenged?

Dearly beloved of God, our God is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. He comforts us as no other can. There is nothing from which He cannot deliver us; not even death. He is the One True and Living God and He is accessible to us.

Our lives are fraught with challenges which none of us can handle by ourselves. I read the examples of God’s deliverance in people’s lives who were just like us and I stand in awe and thankfulness. He gives us record after record of His ability and willingness to deliver and to comfort His people in the turmoil they faced. Their circumstances were not greater than ours.

We can be confident of our Father’s great love for us. We don’t have to fear the challenges we face. We no longer face them alone. Our Father is a greater reality than any obstacle in our path. He is our Rock and Fortress. He will hide us under His wing as a mother hides her young.
