Dearly Beloved 1/31/21 "An Ever Present Dilemma"

An Ever Present Dilemma
Dearly beloved of God, have you ever wrestled with yourself? We all have experienced this dilemma, haven’t we? The thing we do not want to do, we do, and what we do want to do, we do not do. Why is this?
We were born with a body and soul life existence. This is the old nature of the flesh. When we confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead we are born again of the spirit from God. Now we have two natures: an old one of the flesh, and a new one of the spirit.
The old nature of the flesh lusts against the new nature of the spirit, and the spirit lusts against the flesh; they are opposed to each other with the result that we do not do what we desire to do.
What do we do? If we will walk by means of the new spirit nature we will not carry out the cravings of the flesh.
To walk by the spirit is more than walking in the spiritual ability we received in the new birth; it is more than walking in our sonship rights; it is more than walking in our sonship privileges: it is to walk in the complete new birth reality; all of it. If we walk in the totality of the new birth reality we will not carry out the cravings of the flesh.

Dearly Beloved 1/30/21 "A Sacrifice that Burns with Life"

A Sacrifice that Burns with Life
Dearly beloved of God, the Word of God rightly divided is the only reference for truth for the children of God. The right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God.
After all that God did for us in Christ, which is explained in Romans 3-11, He lovingly implores us to present ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is our logical divine service as His children.
Before we believed in Jesus Christ as our Savior, we were dead in sin, ungodly, and enemies of God, and we were headed into the wrath of God. There is nothing good in the old man of the flesh.

Dearly Beloved 1/29/21 "His Dearly Beloved"

His Dearly Beloved
Good morning beloved of God. When John baptized Jesus and the spirit descended and abode upon him God, said that Jesus Christ was His beloved Son; and He said it again on the mountain of transfiguration where he saw the vision of Moses and Elijah appearing to him in glory.
We are also called the "beloved of God" in Romans 1:7, and the "beloved of the Lord" in II Thessalonians 2:13.
The word "beloved" is used with the force of the passive perfect, meaning, we stand as beloved before our Father and our Lord. It is an accomplished reality due to the good pleasure of the will of God toward us in Christ.

Dearly Beloved 1/28/21 "The Good Fight of Believing"

The Good Fight of Believing
Dearly beloved of God, our times are not much different than any other time since the garden. Ever since the old serpent, the devil, deceived Eve we have come under the reign of sin and death.
The adversary is a deceiver that deceives the whole world. He offered Eve a knowledge of evil, which he held forth as “progress.” He said it would be an improvement on all the good that God had provided for them in the Garden of Eden, which was paradise.
All that God provided for them in the garden was “very good,” but the father of lies convinced her that if they listened to him instead of obeying God’s commandment they would be as gods knowing good and evil. He got her to question the integrity of God’s Word and deceived her with his lies.
Instead of the good that God provided for them they got evil. Instead of sufficiency they ended up with lack. Instead of blessing, the earth was cursed, thorned and thistled. Instead of peace they came to know calamity. Such has been man’s history ever since.

Dearly Beloved 1/27/21 "What Can't You Do Knowing Christ is Coming for You?"

What Can’t You Do Knowing Christ is Coming for You?
Dearly beloved of God, what can’t you do knowing Christ is coming back for you? We are the children of God, dearly beloved in His sight.
Sometimes we may feel weary, but don’t forget our true home is in heaven. We are the children of God and we have an inheritance that is stored for us in heaven that is incorruptible and does not fade away.
It doesn’t matter what is going on around us; we are the children of God with the spirit of Christ within us. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are less than God’s child. We are His dearly beloved.

Dearly Beloved 1/26/21 "Who Does What?"

Who Does What?
Dearly beloved of God, we walk with God our Father by believing. Believing comes by hearing the Word of God, and we respond to it having trust and confidence that He is able and willing to perform it.
Believing is a response of trust and confidence in what He says. We don’t “believe” to get God to follow our directions or to do our bidding; we believe the information He reveals to us either in His written Word or by revelation in specific situations, and we proceed to walk out on it.
If we are to see signs, miracles, and wonders we must believe God, that is, we carry out the directions He gives us. He is God the Giver. We are “believers” that listen to Him and obey His instructions.

Dearly Beloved 1/25/21 "Fear Not; Stand!"

Fear Not; Stand!
Dearly beloved of God, circumstances may change, but God our Father does not change. We walk with Him by believing, not by being afraid.
God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power and of love and of sober thinking. God's Word to us is always, "Fear Not!" Why? Because He is with us and for us; He will never desert us or leave us alone.
If we choose to walk with God by believing Him at His Word and we face our Goliaths as David faced his, we will be more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Dearly Beloved 1/24/21 "A Treaure Trove of Riches"

A Treasure Trove of Riches
Dearly beloved of God, the book of Ephesians is a treasure trove of revelation from God our Father to His dearly beloved children.
He reveals the good pleasure of His Will to us in Christ concerning spiritual realities in the heavenly realm; in fact He has blessed us in Christ Jesus with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm!
God our Father called us in Christ; in him we are holy and without blemish; God preplanned that in Christ we would be placed as His dearly beloved children; in him we would be redeemed, forgiven by the riches of His grace, which He abounded toward us, and sealed us with the gift of holy spirit, which is the down payment, the token, of our future inheritance until Christ returns to acquire the members of his body that he purchased with his life.

Dearly Beloved 1/23/21 "Divine Resources"

Divine Resources
Dearly beloved of God, since we are citizens of the heavenly realm we have resources that the world does not have. God is our Father, Jesus Christ is our Lord, He has sent ministering spirits sent forth to minister to us who are heirs of salvation, not to mention the spirit from Him Who raised Jesus from the dead that dwells in us.
God our Father delivered us from the power of darkness, and has transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son. We may live in this world, but we are not of it.
When Christ returns he will complete the transfer and physically remove us from this evil world or from the grave, transfigure our bodies to be like his glorious body, and give us eternal life.

Dearly Beloved 1/22/21 "Citizens and Heirs"

Citizens and Heirs
Dearly beloved of God, we are not of this world, we are citizens of heaven; made alive together with Christ, raised up together, and made to sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus so that in the ages to come God our Father might display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us through Christ Jesus!
We are no longer strangers and foreigners, we are fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God. God determined beforehand for us to have sonship to Himself through Jesus Christ according to the good pleasure of His Will; we are holy and without blame before Him, His dearly beloved kids.

Dearly Beloved 1/21/21 "We Have the Proof"

We Have the Proof
Dearly beloved of God, we have the proof! We have the proof that we are the children of God, heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; the proof that the sufferings of this world are temporary and that they do not compare to the glory that will be revealed to us!
Romans 8:16 and 17 WT
The spirit itself bears witness with our own spirit that we are the children of God,
and since we are children, then we are heirs also: first of all heirs of God and secondly joint heirs with Christ, so that if we do suffer together, we shall also be glorified together as heirs.

Dearly Beloved 1/20/21 "The Foundation for the More Abundant Life"

The Foundation for the More Abundant Life
Dearly beloved of God, “man’s basic spiritual problem is NOT believing the integrity of the Word of God.”
“It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God [theopneustos: God breathed] and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect [outfitted or equipped] throughly furnished [completely outfitted or equipped] unto all good works.” II Timothy 3:16 and 17

Dearly Beloved 1/19/21 "Covenants, the Mystery and the Church"

Covenants, the Mystery, and the Church
Dearly beloved of God, the Bible, which is the Word of God, speaks of three distinct groups of people: the Jews, which are the people of Israel, the Gentiles, which are the people of all the other nations, and the Church of God, which consists of people from that were formerly either an Israelite or a Gentile by their natural birth.
See I Corinthians 10:32, Romans 9:23 and 24, Ephesians 1:22 and 23 through 3:12 for some background.
God made the old covenant between Himself and Israel.
God sent His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, to fulfill the old covenant and establish the new covenant. He spoke of this covenant in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and 32:37-40.

Dearly Beloved 1/18/21 "Martin Luther King Day"

Martin Luther King Day
Dearly beloved of God, today we celebrate Martin Luther King Day.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the only solution to race relations.
When a person is born again of God’s spirit he becomes a new man, a child of God with Christ in him, the hope of glory. The new man is neither black or white, yellow or brown; neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond or free: but Christ is all and in all.
A child of God has to put on the mind of Christ and walk in the love of God; not join a group like Black Lives Matter that pits one race against another in the name of equality. Carnal solutions are not God's solutions.
Happy Martin Luther Day which celebrates a man’s character, not the color of his skin.
The only equality a person will ever have is as a member of the body of Christ, the Church, in which each member is filled with everything that Christ accomplished. They are filled with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in Christ. They are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power.
Want equality? Confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved, become a child of God, an heir of God, and a joint heir with Christ. That is the only way to overcome the flesh and the reign of sin and death. It is much bigger than the color of your skin, dearly beloved of God.

Dearly Beloved 1/18/21 "What Is the Truth?"

What Is the Truth?
Dearly beloved of God, in the judgment hall Jesus said to Pilate, “Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.” Pilate responded, “What is truth?”
Earlier Jesus told his disciples, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
Jesus Christ is the truth and he will make you free; free from the reign of sin and death, free from the adversary’s rule over you, and free from the adversary’s lies that blind people’s eyes to the truth. He will make you free indeed.
The night of His arrest, Jesus prayed to his Father and said, “Sanctify [to set apart] them by Thy truth. Thy word is truth.” John 17:17
In the prayer he said, “I have given unto them the words which Thou gavest Me; and they have received them…” He said, “I have given them Thy Word.” “Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy Word is Truth.”

Dearly Beloved 1/17/21 "Old Clothes and New"

Old Clothes and New
Dearly beloved of God, do you know the difference between old clothes that are moth eaten, frayed, and no longer fit, and new clothes that are in style, not worn out, and fit correctly? Of course you do, but many Christians do not know the difference between the Old Testament and New Testament realities.
Jesus Christ said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law and the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” The law given to Moses would remain in effect until Jesus fulfilled it by his accomplishments.
By the sacrifice of Jesus Christ the old covenant was taken away and the new covenant was established.
The old covenant of the law was a shadow of good things to come according to Hebrews 10:1. Under the law, sacrifices were made which anticipated Jesus Christ’s sacrifice; he was the last sacrifice for sins forever.

Dearly Beloved 1/16/21 "Religious Freedom Day"

Religious Freedom Day
Dearly beloved of God, welcome to Religious Freedom Day, the day we celebrate the freedom to worship God according to the dictates of our heart without any persecution from the government.
People were willing to face unchartered seas and an unknown land and the people of this distant land to escape religious persecution in Europe. It cost many of them their lives.
You can have a day called Religious Freedom Day and yet God’s people can still be deprived of such a thing.
Today we live in a time when mainstream religion suppresses such freedom by burying the Word of God under religious traditions, creeds, denominational council dictates and doctrines, and philosophy, or it is mixed with pagan beliefs from centuries before until there is hardly anything “Christian” left in the church. They do not teach people how the Word of God interprets itself so that people can understand God’s Word.

Dearly Beloved 1/15/21 "We Walk by Believing"

We Walk by Believing
Dearly beloved of God, we walk by believing, not by sight. The right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God.
God our Father says that we are His children and His heirs and joint heirs with Christ. We entered the kingdom of God the moment we were born again.
Now we are sealed for salvation and everlasting life. When Christ returns we will physically enter the kingdom of His beloved Son.
Dearly beloved, the sufferings of this present time are not comparable to the glory that is to be revealed to us!
Until then we live in this world, but we are no longer of it. Our citizenship is now in the heavenly realm, from where we also patiently wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dearly Beloved 1/14/21 "Peace the World Does Not Know"

Peace the World Does Not Know
Dearly beloved of God, you will never find the truth in the world. Truth comes from the One True God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He gave us the Word of Truth. What is the truth about peace?
We can have peace because Jesus dealt with the heart of the matter.
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
He paid for our peace through his suffering and death. He took the punishment for our sin and in its place he gave us peace with God.
“Therefore being justified by faith [believing], we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1

Dearly Beloved 1/13/21 "Why Did He Give It?"

Why Did He Give It?
Dearly beloved of God, “So faith (the right way of believing) comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10:17
God gave us His Word for our believing. We can have trust and confidence in what God says. His Word reveals His Will to us.
Ephesians 3:2-6 Working Translation
2 If in fact you have heard about the administration of the grace of God that was given to me for you
3 (namely that by revelation the mystery was made known to me even as I briefly wrote previously),
4 then you are able by reading to grasp my understanding in the mystery pertaining to Christ.
5 In other generations, it was not made known to the sons of men as it has been revealed to his holy [sanctified] apostles and prophets by the Spirit,
6 namely, that the Gentiles should be joint heirs and joint members of the same body and joint partakers of the promise [what was promised] in Christ Jesus by the gospel.

Dearly Beloved 1/12/21 "Which Coming?"

Which Coming?
Dearly beloved of God, according to Ephesians 3 we live in the Administration of the Grace of God, the Administration of the Mystery.
This administration of God’s dealing with man began on the Feast of Pentecost when Jesus Christ sent the promise of the Father, the gift of holy spirit, and it will continue until the Lord Jesus Christ returns to redeem those for whom he died; he will gather us together up to meet him in the air.
When anyone confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead he is saved. From that moment forward we are in Christ, and members of the Church, which is the body of Christ.
We are living in the Administration of the Grace of God. We have been judged in Christ as righteous. We have been justified. There is no more condemnation coming to those in Christ Jesus. We have been delivered from the wrath to come. By the grace of God, the Lord Jesus Christ gives us the victory over sin and death.

Dearly Beloved 1/11/21 "Believe, Do Not Be Deceived"

Believe, Do Not Be Deceived
Dearly beloved of God, you are who God says you are; end of story. God our Father showed us amazing grace in Christ Jesus our Lord. All that we are, and all that we will ever be throughout eternity is in Christ.
By the grace of God we are united with Christ in his accomplishments. We are members of the body of Christ, one with him as a husband and wife are one. In Christ we are one new man; we are united with him in his death, burial, resurrection from the dead, in newness of life, his ascension, and seating in the heavenly realm. We are in Christ!
We have received some of these new things with him, and when he returns we will receive even more new things.
We will receive new bodies like his glorious body, everlasting life, and we will physically enter the kingdom of God, and never be separated from him – never! We will live in new heavens and a new earth in which only the righteous dwell. God will make all things new again, dearly beloved. It is all coming!
Today we are born again of God’s spirit, and by that holy spirit that was promised, we are sealed for eternal life, and the inheritance we will receive when Christ returns for us. Christ will return to redeem us on the Day of Redemption. By that new birth we have entered the kingdom of God, and become the children of God, and heirs together with Christ.

Dearly Beloved 1/10/21 "Faithful, Approved Unto God"

Faithful, Approved unto God
Dearly beloved of God, “Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and that which you have heard from me among many witnesses deposit the same with faithful people who will be competent to teach others also.” This is II Timothy 2: 1 and 2 from the Working Translation.
What they heard from the Apostle Paul was the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ our Lord, who God raised from the dead.
What is a faithful person? A faithful person consistently believes God and they are trustworthy. We are to walk by believing, and right believing comes by hearing the Word of God.
When you consider the example of faithful men and women from God’s Word, you find that at times their walks involved suffering hardships.

Dearly Beloved 1/9/21 "Sons or Servants?"

Sons or Servants?
Dearly beloved of God, in Romans 1:1 the Apostle Paul wrote, “Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God…concerning His Son Jesus Christ….”
Paul was born again of God’s spirit. He was a son of God, but he said he was a servant of Jesus Christ.
Galatians 4:6 and 7
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Dearly Beloved 1/8/21 "It Is Still True"

It Is Still True
Dearly beloved of God, I have been young, and now am old yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. I am a living firsthand witness of the truth of Psalm 37:25.
Throughout my life God has delivered me from one attack after another by the adversary. Our God is a faithful God and Father. Our God is unlike any other source that people may place their trust. He is the LORD God Almighty; the One True and Living God.
Do we have fewer resources available to us today than the resources the writer of this psalm had available to him? Certainly not! We are born again of God’s spirit and we have entered the kingdom of God.

Dearly Beloved 1/7/21 "He Is the Lord Our God"

He IS the LORD Our God
Dearly beloved of God, how many times have we read in the Word of God, or heard in the worship manifestations, “I am the LORD your God?” Think about it. He IS the LORD our God; He is our Father.
He is the One True and Living God. He is the LORD our God. Since we are born of His spirit, we are His children and He is God our Father. We are His dwelling place, His habitation by the spirit.
The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God, and if children, then heirs, and joint-heirs with Christ.
Dearly beloved, the LORD our God is present; He is constantly with us and He is for us. He cares for us. He is our ever present help. He promises to lead us and guide us. He is for us. He fights for us, and He promises to save us, to redeem us, to deliver us, to forgive us, to heal us, to prosper us, to provide our every need; He is able and willing and He is faithful that promised.

Live in His Rest
Dearly beloved of God, the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ has been preached unto us as well as unto others, but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with believing in them that heard it.

Dearly Beloved 1/4/21 "If Only He Would Speak To Me"

If Only He Would Speak to Me
Dearly beloved of God, “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.”
God our Father speaks to us every time we open His Word. Every scripture is straight from His lips to our ears. It is revelation knowledge given to us so that we can have trust and confidence in Him and in the good pleasure of His Will. Believing comes by hearing God's Word.
When the cares of this world overtake us, He is there ready to deliver us. He says, “Cast all your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you.”

Dearly Beloved 1/3/21 "Lord, Open My eyes"

Lord, Open My Eyes
Dearly beloved, right believing is constantly knowing that God’s power and presence is with you in every situation. He will never leave us or forsake us. We are His dearly beloved children.
There was a time when the king of Syria warred against Israel. Elisha was a faithful prophet in Israel at that time.
Elisha knew that God was with him and His power was available to him whenever he needed it.
Time after time he told the king of Israel where the Syrians were going to attack them. The king of Syria thought that one of his top men was leaking top secret information to the king of Israel because every sneak attack he planned was exposed before it took place.
The king of Syria said, “Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?”

Dearly Beloved 1/1/21 "I Know What's Coming"

I Know What’s Coming
Dearly beloved of God, with all that happened this past year many are wondering what this new year holds for us. I know!
It will be a year that God our Father will not let one word of His promise in Christ Jesus fail us.
It was the good pleasure of His Will to give us an entrance into the Kingdom of God by being born again of His spirit. That seed is incorruptible. Now we are His children, and if children heirs, heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ.
No earthly nation, no government, no political party, no spirit power; nothing is this coming year can undo what God has done in Christ. It is a done deal. It was God’s idea to give us citizenship in the heavenly realm, make us members of His household, and bless us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm, and it cannot be undone.
