Stand and Be Delivered

Dearly beloved, other than God our Father and His wonderful Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, it does not matter who “endorses” our ministering, writing, or speaking. When we speak God’s Word, He establishes it by His power and might. It does not matter what the world thinks; their opinion is worthless concerning spiritual matters.

Say what the Word of God says regardless of what people may say, dearly beloved. Signs, miracles, and wonders follow believing, not groups, not political factions, not sincere religious causes; they follow believing what God says.

When you say what God says, you are standing on holy ground. His Word is His Will and we should pursue it with our whole heart so that we can think it, believe it, obey it, walk in it, and speak it. We will be judged by His Word; not by worldly standards.

When Moses gave Israel God’s commandments, he said, “Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which you shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is your life….”

We don’t apologize for believing God’s Word; we ought to constantly affirm it to one another and anyone who asks us for a reason of the hope that is in us. The world will never endorse it.

Christianity is the great confession from Romans 10:9, which speaks of our salvation, to I Thessalonians 4:13-18 which speaks of our hope in Christ.

Will we be so bold as to say what God says, or will we believe otherwise? God will manifest His power according to His Word. If we are to see His power in manifested in our lives, we must believe what He says.

It is not a “positive confession” that is needed; we need to confess the Word that came out of His mouth. He will not let His words fall to the ground.

Do you know why we say “Amen” when we ask according to His will? We are saying, “Thus and so it shall be as He promises.”

What matters in your life? It is not the color of your skin, your political affiliation, social justice, your education, your wealth, your social standing, etc., or what God says in His Word? He is not a respecter of one person over another, one race over another, one political party over another, one cause over another.

God respects those that take Him at His Word. He sanctifies them in Christ as a special people to Himself.

The only true justice a person will find in this life is in Christ Jesus the Lord. He was just and justified those that believe in him. He saved them whether black or white, bond or free, male or female, Jew or Gentile. He respects believing, not skin.

The politics of division are of this world, they are not for the children of God. The children of God are to believe what God says, love as Christ loved, and live in light of our hope in Christ. They don't count for much in the world’s eyes, but it is everything in the sight of God.

Dearly beloved, say what God says, and stand on His Word; it is true and faithful. Prove Him. If He said it, it will not return void; it will accomplish what He promised. No word of God is devoid of power.

Let’s talk reality, dearly beloved. Are you sick? “The Lord heals me of all my diseases.” Psalm 103:3 They are both realities; which one do you choose to believe?

Do you live in bondage? God says, the Son made us free. What do you say?

Do you confess that you are defeated? God says that you are more than a conqueror in Christ who loves you. Do you say that you are weak, or what God says: I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me?

Do you constantly confess your lack, or “No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly”?

Are you running from the devil, or do you say, I am resisting the devil, and he will flee from me?

Are you oppressed by the cares of life and suffer mental pressure, or do you cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you?

God has stated His position; what is yours?

You can trust in your own flesh, or you can trust the One True and Living God and His power to deliver. Beloved, if you believe Him, say what He says with your heart and with your mouth.

God doesn’t ask us to figure out how He will deliver us; that’s His job. Our job is to take God at His Word, to believe Him, to say what He says regardless of what we may face.

If we were thrown in a den of lions as Daniel was, or if we were starring in the face of a burning, fiery furnace like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego were, God’s will is to deliver us as He did them.

These men did not deny the circumstances, but in the midst of them they said that their God would deliver them from the burning, fiery furnace. They would not bow to Nebuchadnezzar’s gods.

When Daniel was set up by the politicians around the king and he was thrown in the lion’s den, he did not deny the presence of the lions that usually eat men; he prayed to His God and He delivered Him.

They believed God at His Word and stood even in the direst of circumstances. God was faithful to deliver them. He will deliver you in your circumstances, too. You are His dearly beloved.
