Dearly Beloved 01/31/23 Much More

Much More
Dearly beloved of God, in Adam we came under the law of sin and death, but in Christ we have MUCH MORE!
Christ died for us, MUCH MORE then we will be saved from the wrath of God by his life. For if when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, MUCH MORE, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
If many died by the trespass of Adam, MUCH MORE then the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
The judgment was of one, Adam, unto condemnation, but the free gift of grace is from many trespasses unto justification.
So if by the trespass of the one, the death reigned through the one, Adam, MUCH MORE then they who receive the abundance of the grace and the gift of the justice of God will reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

Dearly Beloved 01/30/23 A New Standard for Justice

A New Standard for Justice
Dearly beloved of God, very few Christians know anything about what is their’s in Christ except that he saved them, and many are even uncertain about that because of devilish teachings that teach that you may have backslid out of salvation.
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
This is God’s standard for salvation today.
Jesus Christ came to fulfill all righteousness. Righteousness is the Greek word “dikaisune.” It means justice, justness, or righteousness.
When it comes to the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ, the standard for justice is according to the standard that God determined. Previously for Israel the standard for justice was the law.

Dearly Beloved 01/27/23 Go Ahead, Pinch Yourself

Go Ahead, Pinch Yourself
Dearly beloved of God, when you read Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians, God is opening your eyes to what is in His heart concerning Christ, and you. The riches of His revelation contained in these books is beyond anything we could have ever imagined, much less accomplished for ourselves.
Every word of this revelation was God’s idea. God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways higher than our ways. He authored this revelation, and it expresses His ideas, which were conceived by His counsel. He determined them, and they are according to His purpose in Christ Jesus. He brought them into fruition by the good pleasure of His Will.

Dearly Beloved 01/25/23 Deliverance from the Past

Deliverance from the Past
Dearly beloved of God, if we are to live a more abundant life in Christ Jesus, we must put the past in a casket, bury it, and leave it in the grave. “Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching for those things which are before we must press toward the mark for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Each of us has to decide if we will carry around the baggage of the past with us day by day, or if we will press toward the mark for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.
The Apostle Paul lost what most people would consider to be success, but he counted all that had previously been a gain to him as a natural man as loss for Christ.

Dearly Beloved 01/24/23 Be at Peace

Be at Peace
Dearly beloved of God, (and you are you know,) the Almighty God is now God your Father. He is almighty in resources to defend, to supply, to support, and to bless you. He is with you and He is for you. He will never leave you, nor ever, ever forsake you. You are His dearly beloved and highly favored child, so practice the presence of God in your daily life.
God our Father is always there for us. He hears our prayers, and He is faithful to answer them. We should be confident in Him, and in His ability and willingness to bless us. He can do what no other can.
Jesus Christ made peace between God and us; he justified us. In him we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace, which He abounded to us.

Dearly Beloved 01/23/23 The Author and Finisher

The Author and Finisher
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus was the author and finisher [the completer or perfecter] of the right way of believing, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
All the wonderful, faithful believers mentioned in Hebrews 11, all died while believing the promises. They received the promises from God but they did not live to see their fulfillment during their lifetimes. They saw them afar off, and they were persuaded that they would be fulfilled. They embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. They desired a better home, that is an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He has prepared for them a city. See Hebrews 11: 13-16.
The world was unworthy of them. All of them received a good report from God through the right way of believing, but they did not, in return, receive what was promised during their lifetimes.

Dearly Beloved 01/22/23 The Justice of God

The Justice of God
Dearly beloved of God, there are different standards for justice. The Constitution is the standard for justice in the United States. The Roman standard for justice during Jesus Christ’s lifetime was different from the Mosaic standard for justice for Israel. What is God’s standard for justice today?
The word translated “righteousness” in the King James Version is the Greek word “dikaiosune,” which means justice, justness, or righteousness, according to an established standard. There is no higher standard for justice than the established standard that God determined.
The first place “dikaiosune” appears in the New Testament is in Matthew 3:15.
Matthew 3:15
And Jesus answering [John] said unto him, “Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness [justice].” Then he suffered him [he allowed John to baptize him with water].

Dearly Beloved 01/20/23 Keep Yourself Pure as He is Pure

Keep Yourself Pure as He is Pure
Dearly beloved of God, our Heavenly Father’s divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him that called us to glory and virtue. God gave us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
We received spirit life in the new birth, and that life is eternal life. Godliness is a true, vital, alive, spiritual relationship with God our Father, not a dead religious relationship based on doctrines and traditions that come out of the mind of man.
Since the Father gave us all things that pertain to life and godliness we should walk in these realities.
I John 3, reveals remarkable information from God. “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.”

Dearly Beloved 01/19/23 As You Have Received, So Walk

As You Have Received, So Walk
Dearly beloved of God, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him. There is nothing more to receive. We have it all. There is nothing more for the Christ to accomplish to make the new birth available.
We entered the kingdom of God when we were born again of the spirit from God. It is a done deal. Christ fulfilled everything required, and it is now an accomplished reality.
Jesus Christ identified with us as a human being, so that we could identify with him in his accomplishments.
We have received everything he accomplished concerning the complete new birth reality. We have all of the rights, the privileges, and the ability associated with the birth from above. We are completely, completely, completely, absolutely complete in Christ Jesus, who is the head of all principality and power.

Dearly Beloved 01/18/23 Newness of Life

Newness of Life
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ came so that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. After his death, resurrection from the dead, ascension into heaven, and seating at God’s right hand, he sent the promise of the Father which was new spirit life.
Jesus Christ foretold of this spirit life in John 3. He said that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. He said you must be born again if you are to see, and enter the kingdom of God.
The natural birth is flesh, and the life of the flesh is soul life. It is mortal, and it is corruptible. The life we receive when we are born again is spirit life, and it is incorruptible seed.

Dearly Beloved 01/17/23 Be Strong in the Lord

Be Strong in the Lord
Dearly beloved of God, be strong in the Lord and in the exerted power of his might.
Put on the whole armor of God so that you are able to stand up against the scheming methods of the devil, because we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the rulers of the present darkness of this world, against the spirits of wickedness in the heavenly realm.
Because of this, take up the full armor of God so that you are able to withstand those things in the day of the wicked, and having done all, to stand [To stand before the bema. We will all stand before the judgement seat of Christ.]

Dearly Beloved 01/16/23 Privileged Access

Privileged Access
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ offered himself as the Lamb of God. He has an unchangeable priesthood; he is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing that he ever lives to make intercession for them. He made a new and living way through the veil into the presence of God.
Under the Old Covenant that God made with Israel there was an earthly tabernacle. In the Tabernacle, and later in the Temple, a veil separated the entrance into the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place.
God dwells in the true Holy of Holies in the heavenly realm. The earthly tabernacle that God had Moses build was built according to the pattern of the true tabernacle in the heavenlies.

Dearly Beloved 1/15/23 Privileges of Citizenship

Privileges of Citizenship
Dearly beloved of God, we are citizens of heaven, and we are of God’s household. We have all the privileges of our citizenship.
Philippians 3:20 and 21
For our conversation [citizenship] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
When the Lord Jesus Christ returns to save us he will transform our mortal, corruptible bodies so that they are like his glorious body. This is one of our privileges of citizenship.

Dearly Beloved 1/14/23 Firsthand Testimony

Firsthand Testimony
Dearly beloved of God, in a court of law only firsthand information is acceptable testimony. Information from other sources is considered hearsay, and does not qualify as acceptable proof. We should be as honest with God's testimony that He gives in His Word concerning spiritual matters.
“All scripture is God-breathed….” God is the ultimate authority concerning any spiritual matter. He authored the information that we are to believe. He revealed it to holy men of God, and He had them record it. How could anyone know anything about any matter in the spiritual realm if they do not know what God revealed concerning that subject?
Think about it, dearly beloved of God. Is what any man has to say about spiritual matters more qualified testimony than what God Himself has to say?

Dearly Beloved 01/13/23 Born Again to a Living Hope

Born Again to a Living Hope
Dearly beloved of God, our redemption draws nearer day by day. The day of redemption is nearer today than when we first believed in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We were born again with a view to a living hope. We are sealed by the spirit from God for the day of redemption. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
I Peter 1:3-9
3 Blessed be [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively [living] hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Dearly Beloved 01/12/23 Incorruptible Seed

Incorruptible Seed
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ foretold of being born again, born of the spirit from God. He said we must be born again of the spirit if we are to see and enter the kingdom of God.
I Peter 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
The natural birth is corruptible. It ends in death and corruption. The new birth of the spirit is of incorruptible seed. This seed cannot be spoiled. It cannot go bad. It cannot decay; it is incorruptible.

Dearly Beloved 1/10/23 First Person Thinking

First Person Thinking
Dearly beloved of God, the Apostle Paul, at God’s direction wrote: "I was crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by believing concerning the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Think about God’s revelation to you in the first person; God your Father is speaking directly to you. It is absolutely true, dearly beloved.
You say it, dearly beloved. “It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me! The life I am now living in the flesh I live by believing concerning the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” It is as true of you as it was true of the Apostle Paul.
God your Father is speaking to you, so say what He says about you. “As I have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so I will walk in him.”
“It is Christ in me, the hope of glory!” At times we baulk at this glorious reality because of the stinking thinking of the old nature of the flesh. It is corrupt. The old nature thinking of the flesh dwells on your past, on your failures, or on your shortcomings, on your past sins. This is carnal thinking.

Dearly Beloved 01/09/23 What Has God Prepared for Us?

What Has God Prepared for Us?
Dearly beloved of God, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” I Corinthians 2:9
It would be impossible to know the things that He has prepared for them that love Him had He not revealed them.
2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit [God is Spirit, and He revealed the information that He communicated]: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Dearly Beloved 01/08/23 God Says So

God Says So
Dearly beloved of God, if we have confessed Jesus as Lord, and believed in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we shall be saved. He says so in Romans 10:9.
From this moment forward in our lives God is our Father, and we are His children. We are His and He is ours. We are highly favored members of the household of God, and we have privileged access to Him. He says so.
Everything that Jesus Christ accomplished in his death, resurrection, ascension, and seating in the heavenly realm is ours in him. We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his accomplishments. God says so.
God our Father blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. He reveals these truths to us in Ephesians, which is addressed to the faithful in Christ Jesus.

Dearly Beloved 01/07/23 The Right Way of Believing

The Right Way of Believing
Dearly beloved of God, what is the right way of believing?
The Greek word “pistis” is a noun, and it is translated “faith” in English, while the cognate verb “pisteuo,” is translated “to believe.” They both come from the same word family although you could not tell it from the way they are translated into English.
Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” The article is present in the Greek although it is not translated into English. The use of the article sets this “faith” apart as unique, as one of a kind.
This verse speaks of hearing the Word of God, and believing what God says as opposed to all other ways that we could choose to believe. We are not the ones that determine what is to be believed; God is. Our opinion is insignificant. We are to believe what God says we are to believe.
The verse more accurately reads, “So the [right way of] believing comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God {OR/ concerning Christ}.” The Working Translation

Dearly Beloved 01/06/23 The Choice is Ours

The Choice is Ours
Dearly beloved of God, we have a choice. We can either see things from the world’s point of view, or from God’s point of view. We can believe what our senses tell us, or we can believe what God says.
II Corinthians 4:16-18
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
The outward man perishes, but the inward man is renewed day by day as we believe God at His Word.
Our light affliction is momentary, but it works for us a “far . . . more . . . exceeding . . . and eternal . . . weight . . . of glory.” We are assured of this reality.

Dearly Beloved 01/05/23 A New Covenant and a New Body

A New Covenant and a New Body
Dearly beloved of God, three groups of people are mentioned in I Corinthians 10:32: the Jews, the Gentiles, and the Church of God.
The first group mentioned is the Jews. God made a covenant with the Jews [Judeans] that He would be there God, and they would be His people. He gave them the covenant of the law until the seed should come, who was Christ.
If that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for the second covenant. The new covenant is found in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and in Hebrews 8.

Dearly Beloved 01/03/23 New Things Have Come

New Things Have Come
Dearly beloved of God, since God made Jesus both Lord and Christ, and He raised him out from among all the dead people, new things have come! What does the Word of God reveal concerning these new things? Let’s consider a few of them.
We are saved by the grace of God by confessing Jesus as Lord and believing God raised him from the dead. See Romans 10:9 and Ephesians 2:4-10.
Before Jesus Christ accomplished the will of God making salvation available to every person, we were dead in sin, ungodly, enemies of God, and headed toward the wrath of God. Gentiles were strangers from the covenants of promise that God made with Israel, having no hope, and being without God in the world. See Romans 5 and Ephesians 2:11 and 12. We all came under the reign of sin and death. The law made all men guilty before God.

Dearly Beloved 01/02/23 Cause for a Happy New Year

Cause for a Happy New Year
Dearly beloved of God, welcome to a new year. It is not only a new year, but new things have come since Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us.
I Corinthians 11:23-26
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
Jesus Christ ratified the new testament, or new covenant, when he gave his life for us. “Testament” is the Greek word, “diatheke,” which is translated as testament and covenant.
