As You Have Received, So Walk
Dearly beloved of God, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him. There is nothing more to receive. We have it all. There is nothing more for the Christ to accomplish to make the new birth available.
We entered the kingdom of God when we were born again of the spirit from God. It is a done deal. Christ fulfilled everything required, and it is now an accomplished reality.
Jesus Christ identified with us as a human being, so that we could identify with him in his accomplishments.
We have received everything he accomplished concerning the complete new birth reality. We have all of the rights, the privileges, and the ability associated with the birth from above. We are completely, completely, completely, absolutely complete in Christ Jesus, who is the head of all principality and power.
The key to this spiritual reality becoming a practical reality in our walks is by believing what God says concerning it, and renewing our minds to who God says we are in Christ. This is the key to unleashing the power of God in your walk.
Today God would have all people saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Today is the day of the new birth; it is a day of planting, and watering.
The day of redemption, the day that Christ will return draws nigh. It will be a day of harvesting the good seed that was sown. It is only a matter of timing, and only God knows that timing.
When God raised Jesus out from among all the dead people, He resurrected him as the Son of God with power. He triumphed over the principalities and powers in his resurrection.
God wants us to know the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe. That power is according to the working of the strength of His ability, which He energized in the Christ when He raised him from the dead and caused him to sit at His right side in the heavenly realm.
God exalted him. He made Jesus both Lord and Christ. He gave him a name far above every name that is named in this age and in the coming age. God put all things under Christ’s feet. Christ is far above all principalities and powers...and we are members of his body filled with all in all.
Who is the prince of this evil age? Our adversary the devil,
is the prince, and Christ triumphed over him and those of his kingdom in his resurrection out from among the dead.
The Lord Jesus Christ stripped them, and he exposed them openly to public shame, and by his resurrection he led them in a triumphal procession. He spoiled them!
Our victory is in his victory, dearly beloved, we are members of his body! God delivered us from the power of darkness, and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.
The Lord Jesus Christ accomplished the purpose of the ages that God purposed in him. We are now justified in Christ and by his accomplishments, and we will be glorified with him when he returns to gather us up to meet him in the air.
We are joint heirs of the inheritance with Christ. The very reason God called us was so that we could acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. When Christ who is our life shall appear, we will appear with him in glory.
It is only a matter of timing, dearly beloved. The contract has been paid for, it is signed, and sealed. Delivery on phase one is complete, the complete new birth reality.
We are awaiting the delivery of phase two, the day of redemption, and it is expected any day now.
Now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruit of those who have fallen asleep. Christ arose first, and our victory over death will follow at his coming on the day of redemption. Christ was the first born among many brethren, and when he comes we will be conformed to his glorious image.
When Christ returns to save us we will obtain the redemption of our bodies, and eternal life. Our mortal, corruptible bodies will be transformed by his power so that they are fashioned like his glorious body. We will die no more.
Abound with thanksgiving, beloved of God! We are as he is! He completely filled us all that he accomplished concerning the new birth reality. We are members of his body, the Church. It is a done deal.
Dearly beloved, may your heart be encouraged, and united in love. God our Father has revealed all riches of the complete certainty of understanding of the mystery of God concerning Christ, in which all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. God revealed this magnificent revelation to us in the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ.
As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him. It is an accomplished reality, dearly beloved of God. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory!
