Dearly Beloved 11/29/22 "Blessed Assurance"

Blessed Assurance
Dearly beloved of God, “now believing is the assurance concerning those things that are in hope as if they had in fact happened, and the evidence of those things that are not seen.” (the Aramaic Peshitta of Hebrews 11:1)
Those who are mentioned in Hebrews 11 based their lives on the Word of God. They believed it, and their hope was founded on the information God revealed to them.
They received a good report from God because they believed God’s promise. They all died believing God’s promise, but they saw it afar off, and were persuaded of it, and embraced it, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims while they lived on earth.
Those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a true homeland. They longed for a better homeland, that is a heavenly one. Wherefore, God is not ashamed to called their God. He has prepared for them a city.

Dearly Beloved 11/28/22 "Whose Presence Do You Practice?"

Whose Presence Do You Practice?
Dearly beloved of God, practice the presence of God, and do not be concerned with the presence of the adversary.
God our Father is present, and He is accessible to those who are born again of the spirit. We are His beloved and highly favored children. We are accepted in the beloved one, Christ Jesus. Our Father will never leave us, nor ever, ever forsake us. He is for us, not against us, and He cares for us, so cast your cares upon Him. He made us more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.
This is the right, correct way of believing. It is based on information that God Himself revealed to us in His Word.
Do not be concerned with the presence of Satan and the evil he orchestrates in this evil age; be concerned with the presence of God.

Dearly Beloved 11/26/22 "In Plain Sight"

In Plain Sight
Dearly beloved of God, we are saved by the grace of God by confessing Jesus as Lord, and believing that God raised him from the dead. Few Christians know that they are complete in Christ Jesus our Lord, who is the head of all principality and power, but His Word is in plain sight for all to know and believe His Will.
Romans 10:9-13
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Ephesians 2:8-10a
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus…
Colossians 2:10
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Why are these truths not taught in every Christian church? These words are from the mouth of God Himself. They have no denominational bias in them.

Dearly Beloved 11/24/22 "Thanksgiving"

Thanksgiving
Dearly beloved of God, Happy Thanksgiving. I made a list of some of the things for which we can be thankful. We should be thankful that:
Salvation is by the grace of God. In Christ we are saved, we are heirs of salvation, and we have the hope of salvation.
We are born again of the spirit from God. God is now our Father, and we are His beloved children that have the spirit making us His children. We are the children of God, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ. God even gave us the proof: we can speak in tongues.
We are justified freely by God’s grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. We have the victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we have redemption through the Jesus Christ’s blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace, which He has abounded to us.

Dearly Beloved 11/22/22 "Joint Heirs with Christ"

Joint Heirs with Christ
Dearly beloved of God, as God raised Jesus Christ from the dead by the working of His mighty power, he ascended into the heavenlies, and God caused him to sit at His right hand, so God, Who is rich in mercy because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved), He raised us up together, and caused us to sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus. Such grace!
Why did God save us, make us alive with Christ, raise us up with him, and seat us with him in the heavenly realm? He did it so that in the coming ages He might display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus!
I Corinthians 2: 9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Dearly Beloved 11/21/22 "What Lies Ahead?"

What Lies Ahead?
Dearly beloved of God, Ephesians 2:7 says, “That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”
God saved us in Christ; why? So that in the coming ages He might display the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
If the verse had said “grace,” it would have been wonderful, but what is said here surpasses that.
If it had said, "the riches of His grace," it would have been fantastic, but this further exceeds even that.
It says that God our Father will display "the exceeding riches of His grace" to us. The exceeding riches of His grace to us in Christ exceeds language's ability to communicate the vastness of this future reality.
What will be our Father’s attitude toward us when He shows it to us? He will display the exceeding riches of His grace in “kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

Dearly Beloved 11/20/22 "Grace Upon Grace, and More Grace"

Grace Upon Grace, and More Grace
Dearly beloved of God, God saved us by the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by his accomplishments, not ours. He called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace.
The grace of God to us in Christ is beyond anything we could have ever imagined. He determined beforehand that we were to be conformed to the image of His firstborn Son.
Jesus Christ did all the work required to accomplish our redemption, justification, salvation, sanctification, and glorification. He gave his life for us. The just one died in the stead of the unjust; the sinless one for those dead in sin.

Dearly Beloved 11/19/22 "Discovering the Truth"

Discovering the Truth
Dearly beloved of God, believing the Word of God is our point of contact with God. The Word of God reveals the Will of God, and it interprets itself in the verse, in its context, or where the identical subject appears previously.
If we look at every scripture concerning the identical subject we will discover the truth on that subject. Truth cannot contradict itself. This is how we arrive at right, correct doctrine.
The Scriptures came from the mouth of God and they are profitable. The Scriptures are the Word of God, and they did not come from denominations, counsels, conventions, the conclaves of men, creeds, philosophy, or tradition. They are God breathed.

Dearly Beloved 11/18/22 "God's Valuable Insight"

God’s Valuable Insight
Dearly beloved of God, the Word of God reveals all we can know about realities that are beyond the reach of the five senses. People who speak of these things can speak either from the information God reveals to us in His Word, or from information they obtain from inferior sources such as tradition, experience, philosophy, and religion.
God is Spirit. He exists in the spiritual realm. You cannot know about this realm except through the information God reveals to us in His Word; all else is conjecture.

Dearly Beloved 11/17/22 "Confidence in God"

Confidence in God
Dearly beloved of God. Instead of being self-confident be God confident. These days there is a whole lot taught on being self-confident but very little taught about having confidence toward God.
Romans 10:17 says that the right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God. It is impossible to have confidence toward God if we are ignorant of His Word. Ignorance is an enemy of confidence.
Not knowing God’s Word leaves us to learn by experience, and our walk with God becomes one of trial and error. It leaves us grabbing at straws instead of being confident in God, and having the absolute certainty of believing His Word. The scientific method has no place in the spiritual realm.

Dearly Beloved 11/15/22 "No Matter How You Slice It"

No Matter How You Slice It
Dearly beloved of God, no matter how you slice it, doctrine is a difference maker.
Doctrine can make the difference between being saved or facing judgment, between being free from bondage or being enslaved, between being delivered or being oppressed, between having good health or being sick, between being prosperous or living in poverty.
Doctrine makes the difference between whether people can know the One True God and what He is like, or they are led away from Him by misrepresentations and lies.

Dearly Beloved 11/12/22 "God is Love"

God is Love
Dearly beloved of God, I doubt if any of us will ever know all there is to know of God’s Word, but if we love God, the same is known of Him.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God, and we are!
If God so loved us when we were dead in sin, ungodly, and enemies of God, do think He loves us less now since we are His kids? Of course not! Jesus Christ said that He loves us the same as He loves him.
God’s love has been poured out in our hearts by means of holy spirit which has been given unto us. The gift of holy spirit is the spirit that makes us His sons and daughters; it is the spirit of sonship.

Dearly Beloved 11/11/22 "God's Grace to Us in Christ"

God’s Grace to Us in Christ
Dearly beloved of God, all the promises of God are yea, and Amen. As He has spoken so it shall be. We can have the absolute certainty of believing that every word of His Word will come to pass as He has declared.
God plainly reveals His Will by His Word. He exhorts us to study to show ourselves approved unto Him by rightly dividing His Word so that we can know what God our Father would have us to believe.
All scripture is God-breathed, and it is profitable for doctrine, which reveals what we are to believe; for reproof, when we are not believing correctly; and correction to get us back to the right way of believing; and for instruction in righteousness.
The right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God. God gives us His Word, He expects us to believe Him, and then He brings it to pass by His mighty power. He is both able and willing to do what He says He will do.
What does God reveal about His grace to us in Christ Jesus?

Dearly Beloved 11/10/22 "Practice the Presence of God"

Practice the Presence of God
Dearly beloved of God, our God will not forget us; He is ever mindful of us. He says that He will never leave us, or ever, ever forsake us. He is present; He is not a God that is far off. He is a God that is at hand. We should believe Him, and practice the presence of God in our lives.
God our Father is a God of loving kindness and tender mercies. He made us near by the blood of Jesus Christ. In Christ and by his accomplishments, He gave us access to Him by the spirit of sonship. He made us His dwelling place by the spirit.
God exhorts us to utilize our access boldly and confidently because of Jesus Christ’s accomplished believing. We can come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. He has thrown the door wide open, and welcomed us into His presence.
We are no longer strangers; we are of God’s household. We are no more foreigners; we are fellowcitizens with the saints. We are God’s sanctuary.

Dearly Beloved 11/08/22 "True Justice is Coming"

True Justice is Coming
Dearly beloved of God, today is man's day, and he does the judging. The Lord's Day is coming, and in that day he will do the judging. True justice is coming!
God took the first step of bringing His justice to mankind in Jesus Christ. He sent His Son to justify all that believe regarding him. He justified us by his accomplishments. Now anyone that confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead will be saved. He justified us from the condemnation of the sin, and the death that Adam brought upon mankind.
Because of Jesus Christ’s accomplishments we have gone from dead in sin to having eternal life; from being guilty before God to being justified; from being far from God to being near; from coming short of the glory of God to having an inheritance of the glory of God; from being a child of wrath by nature to being delivered from the wrath of God. That is true justice.

Dearly Beloved 11/06/22 "God's Point of View"

God’s Point of View
Dearly beloved of God, like any book, the Bible is written from its author’s point of view: God’s. Believing God at His Word is our point of contact with God.
What would God have us to believe?
God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the wages of sin for us, which is death. He hung on the tree to pay the wages for us so that we could have the gift of God which is eternal life.
Jesus Christ was the only person to start the job of believing God and to finish the job. He accomplished what no other person could. He gave his life because he believed that the Word of God could not be broken. He believed that his Father would raise him from the dead as He said He would.
The Lord Jesus Christ justified us. There is therefore no more condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus. We will never again come into condemnation. God judged us in Christ as righteous. Now we stand before God in Christ without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. That is God our Father’s point of view.

Dearly Beloved 11/05/22 "The Just Shall Live by Faith"

The Just Shall Live by Faith
Dearly beloved of God, “the just shall live by faith.” The English word “faith” is the Greek word “pistis,” and the verb form is “pisteuo.” Both words mean believe, or to believe.
God gives all people the same measure that we are to believe: His Word.
Faith, or believing is the acceptance of information that God originates. We are to receive His Word having trust and confidence that He is able and willing to bring it to pass. He is faithful that promised.
According to the revelation in Hebrews 11:6, it is impossible to please God without believing that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.
