Dearly Beloved 03/30/24 The Victory

The Victory
Dearly beloved of God, we have the victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ died as the Lamb of God. He was our Passover lamb.
The Passover Lamb was killed on the fourteenth of Nisan, and it was eaten that evening. It was the first meal of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which lasted seven days.
When was Jesus resurrected from the dead?
Matthew 28:1 Interlinear Greek- English New Testament, by Berry
Now late on the Sabbath, as it was getting dusk toward [the] first [day] of [the] week, came Mary the Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

Dearly Beloved 03/29/24 You Are Righteous Now

You Are Righteous Now
Dearly beloved of God, do you know how you stand before God? The Word of God clearly reveals that Jesus Christ died for you, and God raised him from the dead. Because of his accomplishments, you are now righteous in His sight.
The Scriptures give us the example of Abraham, and how God imputed righteousness to him because he was fully persuaded that what God promised him, He was able also to perform.
Romans 4:22-25
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead.
25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
What is righteousness? Righteousness is the God-given justification whereby a person stands in the presence of God without any consciousness of sin, guilt, or shortcomings.

Dearly Beloved 03/27/24 What If There Had Been No Resurrection?

What If There Had Been No Resurrection?
Dearly beloved of God, what if there had been no resurrection of Jesus our Lord from the dead?
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Because of Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead we have access to salvation. If there had been no resurrection from the dead, there would be no salvation; but now Christ is risen from the dead.
Jesus our Lord died in our stead, and God raised him from the dead. Now, by the grace of God, anyone that believes regarding him will be saved.

Dearly Beloved 03/23/24 Here We Go Again

Here We Go Again
Dearly beloved of God, there is an eclipse coming April 8, so here we go again. Some are speculating that this is a sign of the great tribulation, or of the rapture.
In the first place, there are no signs or seasons concerning the coming of Christ to gather together the Church of the grace of God. I Thessalonians 4:15-18, and I Corinthians 15:51-57 inform us of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for the Church.
I Thessalonians 4:15-18
15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

Dearly Beloved 03/21/24 The Vast Power in His Resurrection

The Vast Power in His Resurrection
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus was the first and only man to be resurrected from the dead thus far. These are some of the monumental results, effects, or impacts of his resurrection out from among the dead.
God resurrected Jesus out from among the dead, he ascended into heaven, and God caused him to sit down at His right side.
According to John 3:13, he is the only man in heaven today. God then made Jesus both Lord and Christ.
After sacrificing his life for us we should respect his sacrifice, and his monumental accomplishments, and we should address him with the dignity that God gave His only begotten Son. We should address him as our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dearly Beloved 03/18/24 Our Sure Hope of Salvation

Our Sure Hope of Salvation
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ’s resurrection out from among the dead is the firm foundation upon which our resurrection from the dead rests.
I Corinthians 15:3-8 NASB
3 For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
6 After that He appeared to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep;
7 then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles;
8 and last of all, as [d]to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.
There is more proof that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead than there is that George Washington was our first president.

Dearly Beloved 03/17/24 What Is in His Name?

What Is in His Name?
Dearly beloved of God, after Jesus Christ willingly gave his life for others at God’s direction, God raised him from the dead.
Forty days after that, God exalted Jesus by his ascension into the heavenly realm, where God seated him at His right side, making him both Lord and Christ.
God set the Lord Jesus Christ far above all other powers and above every name that is named.
With the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and his ascension and seating in the heavenly realm, the name of Jesus Christ gained a new and exalted significance. His name is now above every name named!

Dearly Beloved 03/11/24 In the Bosom of the Father

In the Bosom of the Father
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ made His Father known by the words he spoke and by the works he did.
John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, Which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared Him.
Jesus was God’s only begotten Son, and he was “in the bosom of the Father.”
In the lands and times of the Bible, when someone lays their head on someone’s breast, it denotes an intimate relationship between them. It depicts a relationship of love, comfort, and rest.
Jesus, being in the bosom of the Father, having an intimate relationship with Him, he made Him known. He showed His love and comfort to people by the words he spoke, and the works that he did.

Dearly Beloved 03/10/24 How to Receive from God

How to Receive from God
Dearly beloved of God, all Scripture is God breathed, and it is profitable to us. If we are to profit from this revelation knowledge from God we must respond to it with believing action.
To believe is to have trust and confidence in information received to the end that we act upon it. Believing is not mental ascent. It is not only having an intellectual acceptance of the information. It is acting on the information we received from God.
The Word of God declares what is available to us from God. Once we have that information, we must put it into application; we believe it.
For example, I used to build houses. I would start out with a drawing from an engineer, or an architect that laid out the specs for the construction of the house. Having the plans is not enough; there must be a corresponding action on the plans if the house is to be built.

Dearly Beloved 03/08/24 The State of Our Union

The State of Our Union
Dearly beloved of God, there is quite a difference between the state of the union of the U.S., and the state of our union with Christ.
Every Christian is in union with Christ. We are united with him in what he accomplished in his death, his resurrection and being made alive, his ascension, and his seating in the heavenly realm.
In Christ, we died to the sin and the condemnation that Adam brought upon mankind. In Christ we are justified, and there is no more condemnation to those in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Christ there is equal justice for all.
God raised Christ from the dead, and in him we have the victory over death. When the Lord Jesus Christ returns for the Church, the dead in Christ will rise first, and the living ones will be changed, and together we will be raptured up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we always be with him!

Dearly Beloved 03/07/24 Manifesting Divine Love

Manifesting Divine Love
Dearly beloved of God, with loving kindness God has drawn us to Himself. It is not that we love God, but that He loved us.
God loves us as He loves His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. He loved us with His great love. Now nothing can separate us from His love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We are now the sons of God, and He has conformed us to the image of His Son, who was the firstborn of many brothers and sisters. Now we belong to the household of God.

Dearly Beloved 03/05/24 Comfort One Another with These Words

Comfort One Another with These Words
Dearly beloved of God, thank God for His goodness to us. We have the hope of salvation when the Lord Jesus Christ returns. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory!
If it was not for Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead, death would be the end of life forever for all of mankind. Thank God that He provided release from the grave when the Lord Jesus Christ returns for the Church, and by the resurrections from the dead.
When the Lord Jesus Christ returns, and not before, we will have the victory over death.

Dearly Beloved 03/03/24 Death and Resurrection

Death and Resurrection
Dearly beloved of God, only the Word of God can provide the answers we need coming our deliverance from death and the grave.
Unfortunately, many Christians today do not get an understanding concerning death from the Word of God, but from religious traditions and philosophy and denominational doctrines.
What is “death?” The Greek lexicons define death, “thanatos,” as “the natural end of earthly human existence.”
The Bible reveals that death is an enemy, and that it is the last enemy that will be destroyed [I Corinthians 15:26]. Death is not a welcomed friend.

Dearly Beloved 03/01/24 Oh What a Day That Will Be

Oh What a Day That Will Be
Dearly beloved of God, the hope is laid up for us in heaven, which we have heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel.
We can be confident that He which began a good work in us will continue to perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. On that day we will receive the outcome of our faith, even our salvation.
I Peter 1:3, 4 Working Translation
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who according to His great mercy caused us, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to be born again with a view to a living hope, that is, with a view to an incorruptible and undefiled and unfading inheritance reserved in heaven for you.
