Be A Helper

Dearly beloved, we can help one another by our prayer requests for one another. Our Father beseeches us to pray for one another.

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints….” Ephesians 6:18

God does not give revelation lightly. These are God-breathed words, dearly beloved. Considering the revelation that precedes this verse it makes this truth even more urgent. Time and again our Father exhorts us to pray for one another.

God enabled us to be workers together with Him by the work of His Son and the holy spirit that he made available to all saints. We ought to talk with Him daily and expect to get His direction in order to help as He directs.

The ministry of prayer is vital. We should pray always.

“Be careful [anxious] for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4: 6

If we believe that our God is the One True Living God, our Father, then we should expect that He will do what He says He will do. He exhorts us to pray with thanksgiving in our hearts for His help; so pray. Cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you.

If we will follow His lead, He will deliver. He is faithful. “And the peace of God which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us: and if we know that He hear us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.” I John 5: 14, 15 So, ask dearly beloved.

Be helpers of one another by praying always in every prayer request by the spirit and stay at it, stay on the lookout for the needs of the saints. Make intercession for the saints according to the will of God, beloved. This is a vital service for one another in the body of Christ and God does not speak lightly of it.
