God Says, he Says

Dearly beloved, you are of God. Think of that! You are of God and being of God you have overcome the world and the wicked one, and sin and death. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus who loves you. He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

Jesus Christ spoke His Father’s words; they were not his own, and that’s why his words were powerful. How about us? We should say what the Father says if we are to manifest His power in our lives.

God is the power behind His Word. He stands behind His Word the same as you stand behind the check you write. He promises to make good on it as you do on your check.

God laid our sin and sickness on His Son and he bore them for us, in our stead, on the tree. He paid the cost to redeem us from sin and sickness; they have been dealt with by God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

If the Lord Jesus bore them, it is wrong for us to think we must bear them. Our forgiveness and healing glorifies God and the work of His wonderful Son, our Lord. He is now Lord over all in heaven and earth; even your body. Be strong in the Lord and in his exerted strength for you today.

We were forgiven by the riches of His grace and by the stripes laid on his back we were healed. That’s what God says; that’s our reality in Christ Jesus. The lying adversary comes to us with doubts and fears and attempts to steal them from us. He says the senses reality is greater than God’s power in the situation. God says, he says.

Dearly beloved, we must decide whose word is more powerful; God’s Word, or the one Jesus Christ overcame in his life, and in his death, and in his resurrection, and in his ascension, and in his seating at the Father’s right hand in the heavenly realm.

Who has the authority in our lives? “Our Father delivered us from the authority of darkness, and He transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.” That’s our reality; God says so. Claim it today.

God’s people are not exempt from the adversary’s attacks, but God delivers us as He did those who came before us. His power is greater than any overwhelming circumstance we might face. Daniel was thrown in the lion's den. David was challenged by the giant Goliath and fought him in battle. Moses was hemmed in by Pharaoh’s army at the sea. Elisha was surrounded by the king’s army. Lazarus died, and on and on I could go, but the greater reality in the midst of all these situations was the power of God and His authority over their circumstances.

God says, he says. Who will you believe? It is not make believe; it is reality. You will find the reality of deliverance as you confess the Word of God with believing. You find out as you believingly stand and face your challenges with the power of God as they did.

The victory is yours in Christ, dearly beloved. God is not a respecter of persons, but of believing. Take Him at His Word; your seas will part, your Goliath will fall, your walls of Jericho will come tumbling down, and your lion’s mouths will be stopped. Your God is for you, dearly beloved. You are of God!
