Dearly Beloved 03/31/23 The Redeemer

The Redeemer
Dearly beloved of God, God sent His Son to redeem mankind from the consequences caused by Adam’s sin.
The day that Adam disobeyed God’s commandment he died spiritually. God created Adam in His image, which was spirit. The very day he sinned, he lost that spirit life.
Adam transferred the dominion God gave him over the earth to the devil.
Adam was cast out of the garden of God which God said was very good to an environment in which the ground was cursed.
God said that Adam would return unto the ground; for he was made of dust, and unto dust he would return. Instead of living forever, physical death was now his end.
Adam brought every man under the condemnation of sin and death.
God sent His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, to recover all of these losses. Jesus Christ sent the promise of the Father, which was the gift of holy spirit.

Dearly Beloved 03/30/23 The Victory over Sin and Death

The Victory over Sin and Death
Dearly beloved of God, because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead we have the victory over sin and death. The gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ our Lord declares this truth from God in the Church Epistles.
Romans 10:9 declares that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. God gave us this revelation as the standard for being saved, not some religious group.
God validated that Jesus Christ was the Son of God by raising him out from among the dead people. He was the first fruit to rise from the dead. He is the only one to rise from the dead to die no more thus far.

Dearly Beloved 03/28/23 He Who Began a Good Work in You

He Who Began a Good Work in You
Dearly beloved of God, you can be confident that He Who began a good work in you will continue to perform it until the day of Christ Jesus, which is the day that he will return to gather us up together to meet him in the air.
God saved us by Jesus Christ and his accomplishments, and by His wonderful grace toward us in Christ.
God judged us in Christ as righteous, as holy and without blame before Him. Jesus Christ justified us by his blood, and in him we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace, which He abounded to us.

Dearly Beloved 03/27/23 The Promise of the Father

The Promise of the Father
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ said, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” The record is in John 3.
Nicodemus asked, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?”
Jesus answered, “ Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
Our first birth is natural; it is of the flesh. The breaking of waters announces its coming. That which is born of the flesh is flesh. This birth is mortal, and corruptible.

Dearly Beloved 03/26/23 Christ's Coming for the Church and the Day of the Lord

Christ’s Coming for the Church and the Day of the Lord
Dearly beloved of God, the period of time from the Pentecost following Jesus Christ’s death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven concerns the Administration of the Grace of God, which was previously a mystery that God had hidden in Himself.
This period of the grace of God began when the Lord Jesus Christ sent the promise of the Father, which was the gift of holy spirit. It will continue until the Lord Jesus Christ returns to gather together those whom he purchased with his life.
I Thessalonians 4:15-18, and I Corinthians 15:51-54 reveal the return of the Lord Jesus Christ for the members of his body, the Church. II Thessalonians 2:1 calls it “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him.”
God does not want the Church to be disturbed by those who say that “the Day of the Lord” is at hand. It is a different period of time than our gathering together unto him in the air.

Dearly Beloved 03/25/23 Faithful Ministers of Jesus Christ

Faithful Ministers of Jesus Christ
Dearly beloved of God, we should consider it an honor to do those things that are pleasing to the Father. We should live to do the good pleasure of His will.
The record here follows on the heels of chapter 3, which spoke of the judgment seat of Christ, and a Christian’s works of the gold, silver, precious stones kind being rewarded, while works of the wood, hay, and stubble sort [such as causing divisions and strife] will be burned, but the person himself will be saved, yet so by fire.

Dearly Beloved 03/24/23 The Judgment Seat of Christ

The Judgment Seat of Christ
Dearly beloved of God, the Scriptures are very clear that Jesus Christ justified us from the sin, and the condemnation of death that Adam brought upon mankind. Since Jesus Christ justified us, there is therefore now no more condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.
What then will “the judgment seat of Christ” concern? The term, “the judgment seat of Christ” appears twice in the Word of God: Romans 14:10 and II Corinthians 5:10.
Romans 14:10
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
A person judging his brother is a practice; something we do. This chapter is speaking of making judgments concerning food, and putting an occasion to stumble in our brother’s path. These matters pertain to our walks, and our service. We are to pursue things in our walk, and service that make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. These practices concern our actions, or works, which will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ..

Dearly Beloved 03/23/22 The Justification of Life

The Justification of Life
Dearly beloved of God, God gave His Son Jesus Christ the authority to execute all judgment.
When Israel was expecting the Day of the Lord, and judgment, God revealed the Administration of the Grace of God, which had previously been a mystery hidden in God.
God set the terms of judgment, and He determined that the justice of God would be by the believing of Jesus Christ unto all people.
He determined that all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth to be a propitiation through the right way of believing in Christ’s blood, to declare His justice for the remission of sins that are past, through God’s forbearance: to declare at this time God’s justice so that He might be just, and the justifier of him who believes in Jesus. (See Romans 3:21-26)

Dearly Beloved 03/22/23 A New Reality

A New Reality
Dearly beloved of God, in order to function as a child of God we must believe who God says we are in Christ. God determined this new reality, and now we must persuade ourselves of it with God’s Word. If we do not make up our minds that it is true, the old nature of the flesh will continue to dominate our thinking and our walks.
Our acceptance before God is in Christ, and his accomplishments.
I Corinthians 1:30 NASB
But by His [God’s] doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,
By God’s wisdom, He determined that in Christ Jesus we are righteous, we are sanctified, and we are redeemed. God determined the standard of justice by which He accepted us. Whose standard carries more weight than His?

Dearly Beloved 03/21/23 Confidence in Him

Confidence in Him
Dearly beloved of God, time and time again God our Father exhorts us to pray. He exhorts us to come to Him in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Christ Jesus has given us access to the Father by the spirit we received in the new birth. Since we have the access to Him we can approach Him with confidence.
I John 5:14 and 15
And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us: And if we know that He hear us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

Dearly Beloved 03/20/23 You Bet! And How! No Question About It!

You Bet! And How! No Question About It!
Dearly beloved of God, God determined ahead of time that we would have sonship as God’s children by Jesus Christ according to the good pleasure of His Will, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved, Jesus Christ.
You will never be rejected by God; in Christ you are accepted by Him. In fact, you are highly favored by God your Father in Christ Jesus. You are now a beloved child of God, and a member of His household.
We are born again of the spirit from God. God sent His Son to accomplish our redemption and salvation, and to make the promise of the Father available to us in the new birth.

Dearly Beloved 03/19/23 The Victory Over All Our Fears

The Victory Over All Our Fears
Dearly beloved of God, the world constantly instills fear in us through every media, but God assures us that when we seek Him, He will deliver us from all the things that make us afraid. The One True and Living God is God our Father. We can either trust the world, or God our Father. Which one will it be?
The world constantly pushes the fear of this disease or that, but God assures us that He is the LORD God that heals us. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to bare our sins in his own body on the cross, so that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness, by whose stripes we were healed.

Dearly Beloved 03/18/23 The Wisdom of God

The Wisdom of God
Dearly beloved of God, we can either believe the information God reveals to us, or we can believe the information we receive from the world. God’s wisdom is reliable and worthy of trust, but the wisdom of this world, not so much.
I Corinthians 1:17-31 speaks of wisdom. Christ did not send the Apostle Paul to baptize, but to proclaim the gospel of God concerning His Son Jesus Christ.
Unto those who are called ones of both Judeans and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
I Corinthians 1:30
But of him [God] are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that according as it is written, He that glories, let him glory in the Lord.

Dearly Beloved 03/17/23 All the Promises of God

All the Promises of God
Dearly beloved of God, God did not give His Word to mean one thing today and another tomorrow. He is not fickle.
I Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in Him [Christ] are yea, and in Him [Christ] Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
God is faithful. There is no indecisiveness on His part. All of God’s promises in Christ Jesus are yes, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God.
All of God’s promises are yea and Amen meaning that they are sure, certain, true, faithful, stedfast. There is no question about them. As God has spoken so it shall be!

Dearly Beloved 03/16/23 A Change in Policy

A Change of Policy
Dearly beloved of God, the Church epistles reveal a new policy that God instituted due to Jesus Christ’s accomplishments.
Ephesians 3 informs us of the glorious divine revelation which God revealed to the apostle Paul about the administration of the grace of God. This revelation was not made known in other ages, but God has now revealed it. In previous times this information had been a mystery hid in God, but God has now made known this mystery concerning the administration of the grace of God.
At the time God delivered Israel from the captivity of Egypt, He made a covenant with them that He would be their God, and they would be His people, and He gave Moses the divine revelation of the Law for Israel. The other nations were not included in this covenant.
God sent Jesus Christ to Israel, and Jesus said that he came to fulfill the law and the prophets.

Dearly Beloved 03/14/23 God is Who He says He Is

God is Who He Says He Is
Dearly beloved of God, our Heavenly Father is good, and His Will concerning us only reflects His nature. Who does God say He is?
God says He is the same today as He was yesterday, and He does not change. There is no variableness in Him. He does not have multi personalities. He is not schizophrenic. He is not for you one day, and then turn against you the next. He is not good one day, and evil the next.
God is light, and there is no darkness in Him, not even a shadow of turning. God is who He says He is, not who someone may say He is.
God is the One True and Living God, He is not some dumb idol who cannot deliver.
God is Spirit, and since we cannot see spirit, hear, smell, taste, or touch spirit, He revealed Himself to us in His Word by different names and titles that describe Him.

Dearly Beloved 03/13/23 Wear Out the Welcome Mat

Wear Out the Welcome Mat
Dearly beloved of God, we are no more strangers and foreigners to God; we are fellow citizens with the saints, and we are of God’s household. Being members of God’s household is quite a privilege.
Romans 5:1, 2
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ [See Ephesians 2:13-18]:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
“Access” is the Greek word “prosagoge,” which is a leading or bringing to the presence of anyone; freedom of access.
Who justified us, made the peace with God, provided us with access into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God? Our Lord Jesus Christ accomplished these realities, and now they are ours in him.
Ephesians 2:18
For through him [Christ Jesus] we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Who brought the Judeans and the Gentiles into the Father’s presence by one spirit? Christ Jesus provided us with the introduction by the gift of holy spirit we received when we were born again.
Ephesians 3:12
In whom [Christ Jesus our Lord] we have boldness and access [to the Father] with confidence by the faith of him.
Who provided us with the privileged status which allows us to boldly, freely speak to the Father with confidence? Christ Jesus our Lord provided us with this privileged access to the Father.

Dearly Beloved 03/12/23 The Church, Which is the Body of Christ

The Church, Which is the Body of Christ
Dearly beloved of God, there are many human organizations which offer people membership, but God gave us membership in a heavenly body, the Church, which is the body of Christ.
Ephesians 1:22, 23
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
The Church, which is the body of Christ, is the entire group of all those who are called by and to Christ out of the world. It is one body headed by Christ.
Membership in this body is obtained by confessing Jesus as Lord, and believing that God raised him from the dead. At that moment a person is set apart from the common lot of people by being sanctified in Christ Jesus. God calls them saints, or holy ones, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dearly Beloved 03/11/23 When Christianity Becomes a Religion

When Christianity Becomes a Religion
Dearly beloved of God, there is so much more to Christianity than religion teaches about it. Christianity revolves around the Lord Jesus Christ, and his accomplishments. Religion revolves around man, and his works.
Christianity becomes a religion when the God-breathed truth of His Word is replaced with man-breathed doctrines, traditions, and creeds. This is the basis for the misconceptions in Christianity, and the cause of the divisions of the Church of God into the denominations of men.
The Word of God reveals the Will of God. Dearly beloved of God, God desires all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth. This is the goodness of God toward us in Jesus Christ. It is His Will, His desire for people, but not all choose to accept His invitation.
God marked out the Lord Jesus Christ as His Son by resurrecting him from the dead. He is the only man to be raised from the dead, and that dies no more, so far. [Read Romans 1:4; 6:9]. He is the only man in heaven today according to John 3:13. According to God, there is salvation in no other.

Dearly Beloved 03/09/23 The Day of Redemption

The Day of Redemption
Dearly beloved of God, the Church of the Grace of God began when the Lord Jesus Christ sent the promise of the Father, the gift of holy spirit, on the Feast of Pentecost after he ascended into heaven and sat down at God’s right hand. This Administration of the Grace of God will end when God sends His Son back to gather us together up to meet him in the air.
Ephesians 1:13 and 14
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
We are sealed with the holy spirit as a down payment that guarantees us the inheritance.

Dearly Beloved 03/08/23 The First Adam and the Last Adam

The First Adam and the Last Adam
Dearly beloved of God, by one man, Adam, sin entered the world, and death came by Adam’s sin, and so the death passed upon all men. Adam brought mankind under the reign of sin and the condemnation of death.
Genesis informs us that God created Adam in his image, which is spirit. He formed Adam’s body, and He breathed into his nostrils the breath of soul life. Adam had both spirit life, and soul life.
God instructed Adam that THE day that he disobeyed His commandment, he would surely die. The very day he disobeyed God, he did die. The immediate consequence of Adam’s trespass was that he lost spirit life. When we lose life we call it death.

Dearly Beloved 03/07/23 The Here and Now

The Here and Now
Dearly beloved of God, we can reminisce about past times, past miracles, past events, people we have known and loved, and things we have done, but we can only live in the here and now.
There is nothing wrong with having memories. Once, at a time I was at the end of my rope God inspired me to write down a miracle in which He had allowed me to participate. I wrote it down, and then another one came to mind, and then another. Before I knew it I had filled several pages with God’s mighty works, and I broke down and started to sob. I asked God to forgive me for being so unthankful, and for doubting Him, and feeling sorry for myself.

Dearly Beloved 03/05/23 What Did the Christ Accomplish?

What Did the Christ Accomplish?
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ gave his life for us. He was sacrificed for us. What did the Lord Jesus Christ accomplish for each and every one that calls upon his name for salvation?
Jesus was illegally accused and condemned so that we could be justified freely through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. There is no more condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
He endured mental torture so that we might have peace. The chastisement of our peace was upon him.
He suffered being beaten beyond recognition, whipped unmercifully, and hung on a tree so that we could be healed by his stripes.
He was the Lamb of God. He was made an offering for sin. He shed his blood so that we could be redeemed, and have the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace, which He caused to abound unto us.

Dearly beloved of God, everyone that confesses with their mouth the Lord Jesus, and believes in their heart that God raised him from the dead shall be saved.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the procurer of our salvation. Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many, and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
He justified us from sin, and the just shall live by faith in him. Salvation is by Christ, and by what he accomplished when he hung on the tree, and God raised him from the dead.

Dearly Beloved 03/03/23 The Basis for our Peace with God

The Basis for our Peace with God
Dearly beloved of God, let the peace of God rule in your heart. The Lord Jesus Christ is our peace. Through him we have peace with God. God gives us His Word on it. If you want the peace of God to rule in your heart you will have to take Him at His Word, and believe Him.
Romans 3: 24 says: “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” God declared His justness for the remission of sins that are past through His loving kindness and tender mercies.
Then in 5:1 He says: “Therefore being justified by believing, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Justification and forgiveness are the basis for our peace with God.

Dearly Beloved 03/02/23 God our Father is for Us

God our Father is For Us
Dearly beloved of God, if a person confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead they will be saved. At that moment they are born again of the spirit from God, and they become members of the body of Christ, which is the Church.
In Christ, God claimed us as His children by virtue of the new birth. We received the spirit of sonship, whereby we cry, “Abba, Father.”
We are the children of God, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ. We are greeted in the Church epistles by “God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Dearly Beloved 03/01/23 Is Everyone a Child of God?

Is Everyone a Child of God?
Dearly beloved of God, how often do you hear people say, “We are all the children of God?” According to the Lord Jesus Christ this is not true. In fact, it is one of the biggest lies ever peddled off on the human race.
Jesus told Nicodemus: “That which is born of the flesh is flesh [this is the natural birth as human beings]; and that which is born of the spirit is spirit [this is a birth of the spirit]. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
All human beings have a natural birth from human parents. That is the birth of the flesh.
Jesus further said that a man must be born again if he was to see, and to enter the kingdom of God. You can read the record in John 3. He spoke of a natural birth and a spiritual birth.
