The Redeemer
Dearly beloved of God, God sent His Son to redeem mankind from the consequences caused by Adam’s sin.
The day that Adam disobeyed God’s commandment he died spiritually. God created Adam in His image, which was spirit. The very day he sinned, he lost that spirit life.
Adam transferred the dominion God gave him over the earth to the devil.
Adam was cast out of the garden of God which God said was very good to an environment in which the ground was cursed.
God said that Adam would return unto the ground; for he was made of dust, and unto dust he would return. Instead of living forever, physical death was now his end.
Adam brought every man under the condemnation of sin and death.
God sent His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, to recover all of these losses. Jesus Christ sent the promise of the Father, which was the gift of holy spirit.
By his accomplishments he provided an entrance into the kingdom of God.
The Lord Jesus Christ gave us the victory over the reign of sin and death.
He made the restoration of the very good environment God had provided for man in the garden.
God made His intentions known in Genesis 3:15. God sent His Son in accordance with the purpose of the ages, which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. The necessary work of redemption was accomplished by the Lord Jesus Christ. When God raised Jesus from the dead, He made him both Lord and Christ, and he will perform all the good pleasure of God’s will.
The Lord Jesus Christ made an entrance into the kingdom of God by being born again of the spirit from God. He sent the promise of the Father, which is the gift of holy spirit. The spirit we receive in the new birth entitles us to eternal life. Those in Christ are no longer dead in sin, they were made alive with Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ conquered death by his resurrection out from among the dead. When God sends him for us he will raise the dead in Christ, and change those yet living, and together we will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we always be with the Lord.
Thanks be unto God who gave us the victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Those of the Church of the Grace of God will physically enter the Kingdom of God at his coming. We will be transfigured from having corruptible bodies to incorruptible bodies; from mortal bodies to immortal bodies. We will be conformed to the image of God’s Son. We will be transformed to have glorious bodies like the Lord Jesus Christ’s glorious body that dies no more!
After the Church of the Grace of God has been removed from the earth, the Day of the Lord will begin on the earth.
If you will look up the occurrences of the Day of the Lord you will see that it will be vastly different than the age of the grace of God today.
It will be a day of categorized by wrath and judgment; the wrath of the Gentiles will be against Israel, and God’s wrath will be poured out against them. It will be the day of Jacob’s trouble. It will be a day of distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day against the ungodly and idolaters, a day of destruction, and judgment. Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.
In the Day of the Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ will return to the earth and he reign until every enemy is subdued. Revelation 20 informs us that he will reign for a thousand years on the earth. At the end of his reign, the last enemy will be destroyed, which is death.
After all enemies have been subdued, after all judgments have been executed, after death has been destroyed, after every jot and tittle of the Word of God is fulfilled, God will make all things new again in new heavens and a new earth. The curse will be removed. The “very good” environment before Adam sinned, will be restored in the third heaven and third earth.
God Himself will dwell with His people. He will be their God and they shall be His people.
Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And He That sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said unto me, “Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Dearly beloved of God, it will take Him the coming ages to display the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. We boast in hope of the glory of God. We will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will transform our bodies so that they are like his glorious body. We will always be with him from the gathering together forward. We will reign with him as joint heirs. We will live in the paradise of God in the third heaven and third earth in glory, and that forever!
We will not be disappointed in our expectations of the hope God has given us in Christ Jesus our Lord. Every word of God will be fulfilled, and it shall be as God has spoken.
If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold, new things have come, and all of the new things are from God, Who reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ. We have some of those new things today, and there are more new things to come in the gathering together, and in the new heavens and new earth.
Adam brought the condemnation of sin and death upon all men, but as sin reigned unto death, even so now grace reigns through God’s justness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Lord Jesus Christ will redeem all that Adam lost, and much more. He is coming!
