The Victory Over All Our Fears
Dearly beloved of God, the world constantly instills fear in us through every media, but God assures us that when we seek Him, He will deliver us from all the things that make us afraid. The One True and Living God is God our Father. We can either trust the world, or God our Father. Which one will it be?
The world constantly pushes the fear of this disease or that, but God assures us that He is the LORD God that heals us. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to bare our sins in his own body on the cross, so that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness, by whose stripes we were healed.
God our Father will deliver us from sickness, which is oppression from the devil. We can believe the truth of the Word of God. When we are sick we can pray to God our Father with confidence, knowing that He not only hears our prayers, but that we have the petitions that we ask of Him. We can minister healing to others by the manifestations of the spirit. We can celebrate our victory over sin and sickness in communion.
The world pushes the fear of lack while God assures us that He shall supply all our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. God our Father says that He is able to make all grace abound toward you so that you always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work.
Do not trust in uncertain riches, but in the Living God Who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Trust your Father.
The so-called God of this evil age, the devil, is a liar; in fact, he is the father of lies. He deceives the whole world with his lies. He is our adversary. He comes off as an angel of light, but he is the ruler of this present darkness. He is the prince of the power of the air who sets the evil course of this worldly age. He is the liar! Will you believe him?
We are constantly faced with his temptation, “Did God really say….?” He uses every device in his tool belt to undermine the truth of God’s Word. He tempts us with the bait of his lies to draw us away from the truth of God’s Word. He tempts us to doubt God's truthfulness, and that He is able and willing to perform His Word for us.
The devil has nothing but the knowledge of evil with which to tempt us. Compare that to the divine power of the One True and Living God, our Father, Who has given us all things pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him that called us by His own glory and virtue, whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises so that by these we might be partakers of the divine nature. Which one is trustworthy?
II Corinthians 11:3
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty [craftiness] so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Dearly beloved of God, we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness from on high, so put on the whole armor of God so you can withstand him in this evil day, and having done all to stand at the Bema.
The goodness of God leads us to a change of mind. Believing what God says is the sure foundation for our deliverance, whether it is salvation, healing, prosperity, or whatever fear we must overcome.
Matthew 12:18-21
18 Behold my servant [Jesus Christ], whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
Dearly beloved of God, he has sent forth judgment unto victory. God judged us as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Our God gave us the victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have the victory that overcomes the world through the Lord Jesus Christ. God always causes us to triumph in Christ. He made us more than conquerors through Christ Jesus our Lord who loved us.
We have the victory over all the fears with which the adversary tempts us. Stand fast in the victory that is yours in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God our Father is for us and He is with us, and He will never leave us, or forsake us. Believe Him; He is worthy of our trust.
