What Did the Christ Accomplish?
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ gave his life for us. He was sacrificed for us. What did the Lord Jesus Christ accomplish for each and every one that calls upon his name for salvation?
Jesus was illegally accused and condemned so that we could be justified freely through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. There is no more condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
He endured mental torture so that we might have peace. The chastisement of our peace was upon him.
He suffered being beaten beyond recognition, whipped unmercifully, and hung on a tree so that we could be healed by his stripes.
He was the Lamb of God. He was made an offering for sin. He shed his blood so that we could be redeemed, and have the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace, which He caused to abound unto us.
He was made a curse for us because cursed in everyone that hangs on a tree, so that we could be delivered from the curse of the law.
He submitted to the Law and fulfilled it, so that he could be the end of the law for God’s justness to everyone who believes regarding him. Now the justice of God without the law has been manifested, even the justice of God by the believing of Jesus Christ.
He was subject to the law of sin and death so that we could partake of the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.
He died so that we could live, being born again of the spirit from God. In Christ we have the hope of eternal life.
He was buried, and we were buried with him so that we are no longer in bondage to sin. He freed us from the guilt and condemnation of sin so that we are free from it. When he returns we will be delivered from the presence of sin.
He was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father so that we could walk in the newness of spirit life.
He ascended into the heavenly realm, and God caused him to sit at His right side so that we could be raised up together with him, and made to sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus.
The Lord Jesus Christ sent the promise of the Father, which is the gift of holy spirit, power from on high, so that we could be born again of the spirit from God, and walk in the complete new birth reality having all the rights, privileges, ability, and the inheritance associated with it.
The Lord Jesus Christ was glorified so that we could be glorified with him. When he returns to gather us up to him we will obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
When God raised Jesus from the dead, he raised him with a glorious new body, and we will be conformed to his image of His Son having glorious bodies like his when he returns to gather us up to meet him in the air.
Everything Jesus Christ did, he did to fulfill the good pleasure of the Father’s will, to accomplish His purpose. He did all that was required of him to accomplish our redemption and salvation and our justification and glorification.
Jesus became one with us so that we might become one with him as members of his body, the Church, and each and every member of his body is filled with all in all of them.
We are completely, completely, absolutely complete in him who is the head of all principality and power. God our Father blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. He freely gives us all things with His beloved Son. It is all that he accomplished, in all of us.
God accomplished the purpose of the ages in Christ Jesus the Lord so that in the coming ages God might display the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Dearly beloved of God, these are only some of the things he accomplished. This doesn't take into consideration that he cleansed the things in the heavenly realm as well.
Beloved of God, God has delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.
We are the children of God, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory! In Christ we are being built together for a habitation of God through the spirit.
In the coming ages we will live in the glory of the new heaven and new earth having eternal life. God will wipe away our tears, and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying or pain for the former things will pass away.
Dearly beloved of God, it will take Him the coming ages to display the EXCEEDING RICHES OF HIS GRACE IN HIS KINDNESS toward us in Christ Jesus. Live with thanksgiving for all He has done for us in Christ Jesus, and be full of joy. He is coming!
