Dearly Beloved 9/30/19 "Grab That Mind"

Grab That Mind

Dearly beloved of God, all power in heaven and in earth is given to the Lord Jesus Christ, and God placed us in Christ as members of his body. We share with him in all he accomplished. We are as he is, beloved.

Why don’t God’s people walk in this tremendous reality? Either they are ignorant of the will of God because they don’t know God’s Word, or they are held prisoner to sin consciousness. You cannot replay the loop of past sins over and over in your mind and walk in this reality. The old man is dead; leave him in the casket that was buried with Jesus Christ. You are a new man in Christ!

If we are to walk in the reality of who we are in Christ we must believe who God made us in him. We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his good works and we are to walk in them.

Dearly Beloved 9/29/19 "God is Faithful"

God is Faithful

Dearly beloved of God, God is faithful to His Word. That means that He is One on Whom we can rely. We can be confident in His words, His instructions, His promises. Every word of His will comes to pass as He has spoken them. He means what He says, and He says what He means. We can take Him at His Word.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent. What has He said that He will not do it? What has He said that He will not make good on it?

If I was a betting man, I wouldn’t bet against God’s faithfulness to perform His Word. His track record is perfect. Those who listen to Him will not be disappointed in their expectations.

Dearly Beloved 9/28/19 "We Are All in the Same Boat"

We Are All in the Same Boat

Dearly beloved of God, who of us is without sin? Who of us deserved the salvation and eternal life God so freely gave us in Christ?

According to Almighty God, none of us; we were all dead in sin, without God, and without hope in this world.

In spite of this, God forgave us in Christ by the riches of His grace. He cast our sins as far as the east is from the west, as far as the deepest sea is from the highest mountain. He cleansed us from sin.

Our sins are lost in God’s forgetfulness. He remembers them no more, not because He is forgetful, but because He chooses not to remember them.

Dearly Beloved 9/27/19 "Prophets and Kings Inquired"

Prophets and Kings Inquired

Dearly beloved of God, Peter and the other apostles had been with Jesus. He gave them power [exousia] against unclean spirits to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. He directed them to preach that the kingdom of God was at hand.

He said, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:8
They received the authority to do these things. They freely received the authority to do these things, and they were to freely utilize it to perform them.

After God raised Jesus from the dead, he told these same men, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

Dearly Beloved 9/26/19 "Greatness in God's Sight"

Greatness in God’s Sight

Dearly beloved of God, God doesn’t see as men see; He looks on the heart. He looks for different qualities in people than the world looks for in great men. Let’s look at a few of the qualities He considers to be at the top of His list.

“And the Scripture was fulfilled which saith, ’Abraham believed God and it was imputed unto him for righteousness:’ and he was called the friend of God.” James 2:23

To be thought of by God as His friend is quite remarkable. Abraham believed what God said, that’s why God called him His friend. Moses was also thought of as a friend by God.
“And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaks unto his friend.” Exodus 33:11 a

“(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” Numbers 12:3

God said, “My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all Mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently [plainly], and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?” Numbers 12:7 and 8

Dearly Beloved 9/25/19 "The Place of a Father"

The Place of a Father

Dearly beloved of God, what place does God want among His people? He wants to have the place of a Father in our hearts and lives.

The last week of his life the Lord Jesus Christ said, “If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our home with him.” Jesus Christ’s Father loves us, and He and the Son made their home in us.

He said, “The Father Himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.” The Father Himself loves you!

Dearly Beloved 9/24/19 "Faithful Men and Women"

Faithful Men and Women

Dearly beloved of God, our Heavenly Father wants us to believe Him, to trust Him, to follow Him. He wants us to be a peculiar people, people that believe His Word and walk with Him. He gave us His Word so we could have a contact point with Him; so we could know and be confident of His desires.

If we are to know God and walk with Him, His Word must be our authority for truth. Throughout the epistles we are exhorted to believe the truth God gave by revelation. We are to believe the same truth that He revealed, not something different.

Dearly Beloved 9/23/19 "Ignorance or Enlightened Understanding"

Ignorance or Enlightened Understanding

Dearly beloved of God, the Word of God reveals the will of God. God interprets His will to us in the Scriptures, the written Word. He reveals Himself to us through His Word.

The written Word provides us with enlightened understanding. The revealed knowledge of God instructs us so that we are not ignorant of spiritual matters.

God instructs us to study to show ourselves approved unto Him as workmen that do not need to be ashamed as we rightly divide the word of truth.

Dearly Beloved 9/22/19 "Not in This Life Only"

Not in This Life Only

Dearly beloved of God, if in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. If we believe the hope that is in Christ and if there was none, we ought to be pitied more than anyone because we would have believed a worthless lie. Thank God that is not the case!

The Heavenly Father gave us His Word that we will obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dearly beloved, we may live in this evil world, but we are not of it. Evil men and seducers will get worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived, but we must continue in the things that God has revealed to us in His Word concerning Christ, salvation and our hope in him. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory!

Dearly Beloved 9/21/19 "God and the Devil"

God and the Devil

Dearly beloved of God, God is light and there is no darkness in Him. His will is only good towards us. It was the good pleasure of His will to send His Son to save us. God gave His Word so we could know His will and have confidence in Him. He is who He says He is and He does what He says He does.

Many people today do not know God because they do not know His Word; no one has taught them. Consequently they do not know that there are two spiritual kingdoms, not just one. One is headed by the One True and Living God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ. The other kingdom is run by the devil, or Satan.

The One True and Living God sent His Son so we could have life, spirit life, eternal life. His Son, Jesus Christ accomplished His will and fulfilled His purposes; he gave his life as a sacrifice for sin to save us. He always did his Father’s will; he declared God.

Dearly Beloved 9/19/19 "The Forgiving Father"

The Forgiving Father

Dearly beloved of God, our God is the forgiving Father. He sent His Son to save, to redeem, and deliver us. God’s Son made Him known to the world by always doing His Father’s will. He taught God’s Word so that people could understand it, and he ministered deliverance to those in need.

Jesus Christ moved among people in society that others wanted nothing to do with, such as publicans and sinners, harlots, and lepers. He ministered to their human need, to their hearts.

The religious hierarchy of his day considered these folks to be the lowest of society. They were hypocrites and charlatans. They did not use their position to minister deliverance to those in need, they used it for their own gain and power. They were wolves in sheep’s clothing. They were not what they appeared to be.

Dearly Beloved 9/18/19 "I Reckon So"

I Reckon So

Dearly beloved of God, sin and death no longer reign over us!

Isaiah 53:12 says, “He [Jesus Christ] was numbered with the transgressors: and He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

That’s why in Luke 22:37, Jesus Christ said, “For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in Me, and He was reckoned among the transgressors:’ for the things concerning me have an end [a fulfillment].”

Dearly Beloved 9/17/19 "He Will Lead You"

He Will Lead You

Dearly beloved of God, the work of the holy spirit will always turn our hearts to God so that He can lead and guide us.

God works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure. He works in us by the gift of holy spirit we received in the new birth. That birth made the Living God our Father and it made us His children, His kids.

The new birth did not change how we think; we do that. Our Father exhorts us to think as Christ Jesus thought, in light of God’s Word and will. He always did his Father’s will; he did those things that pleased Him. We align our thinking with the holy spirit which is at work in us so that we might please Him.

Dearly Beloved 9/15/19 "Unconditional Love"

Unconditional Love

Dearly beloved of God, as a son of God nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord – nothing!

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believed in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Once we have believed on His Son nothing can separate us from His love for us.

Jesus prayed the night he was arrested, “… that the world may know that Thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved me.” Did you get that? God loves us as he loved His Son Jesus Christ; that’s why He calls us His beloved.

Dearly Beloved 9/15/19 "He Will Turn Your Captivity"

He Will Turn Your Captivity

Dearly beloved of God, God is light, not darkness. His will is only good concerning us. The book of Job reveals the source of our troubles.

Job 1:9-12
Then Satan answered the LORD, “Does Job fear God for nothing?
“Have You not made a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
“But put forth Your hand now and touch all that he has; he will surely curse You to Your face.”
Then the LORD said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power, only do not put forth your hand on him.” So Satan departed from the presence of the LORD.

Dearly Beloved 9/14/19 "Walk in the Truth"

Walk in The Truth

Dearly beloved of God, I took a religion class in college taught by a P.H.D. in philosophy who was an ex-Baptist minister that had converted to Hinduism. I did not learn anything about the One True God in his class, I only learned about the failure of his experiences. We never opened the Bible in that class.

At the same time I was taking another class called Power for Abundant Living taught by Dr. Wierwille. He opened the Bible to me and taught me that it was the Word of God. Unlike the religion class, it changed my life.

I learned that God gave us His Word so that we could know Him and His will. His Word interprets His will to us. God’s Word is the truth; it is our touchstone with Almighty God. As we believe Him at His Word He is able and willing to perform it in our lives. I received eternal life out of that class and learned how to walk with the Living God.

Dearly Beloved 9/13/19 "The Hope of Glory"

The Hope of Glory

Dearly beloved of God, I pray that the God of our hope in Christ fills you with all joy and peace in believing so that you may abound in the hope through the power from the Holy Spirit.

Our hope embraces the purpose of the ages that God purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Our hope will begin with Christ’s coming for his church, but it will have no end.

Our hope in Christ encompasses the complete fulfillment of God’s will concerning us. His will concerning us began in grace, but it will be fulfilled in glory, and that forever.

Dearly Beloved 9/12/19 "God Works for Our Good"

God Works for Our Good

Dearly beloved of God, the goodness of God leads a person to a change of heart. In everything God works for good with those who love Him.

He sent His Son who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with him. God’s Son always did His Father’s will; he declared Him through his words and his works.

Dearly beloved, the will of God is only good concerning us. He sent His Son so we could have life, and have it more abundantly.
In the garden, Adam only knew God’s goodness to him. Does God show His children less of His goodness today than He showed Adam? He furnished paradise for Adam and it was “very good.”

Dearly Beloved 9/11/19 "Helpers Together by Prayer"

Helpers Together by Prayer

Dearly beloved of God, please join us in prayer at speaktomefather.com and go to the page, "The House of His Healing Presence." You are welcome to leave a prayer request or to be helpers together by prayer for those in need.

God's throne of grace is open for business whenever we go to Him for help. He said that we are to come boldly unto His throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy, and find His divine favor to help in time of need. This was His idea, not ours. It is the good pleasure of His will to deliver us. See Hebrews 4:16

Our Father is the One True and Living God. He is faithful to hear our prayers, and not only hear them but grant the petitions we desired of Him. All He asks of us is that we take Him at His Word and trust Him to perform it. He tells us to have confidence in His ability and willingness to deliver us.

Dearly Beloved 9/10/19 "Seeing Things Differently"

Seeing Things Differently

Dearly beloved of God, our Heavenly Father sums up the essence of our experience with the revelation of a handful of words: “We walk by believing, not by sight.”

If we conducted our lives based on what we see, our experience would be quite different from the reality to which we aspire.

We base our lives on information that the One True and Living God reveals in His Word. The Almighty reveals what is true and faithful and every last word he speaks shall be fulfilled. God is not a man that He should lie.

We look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen. The things that are seen are temporary, they are fleeting, but the realities that God reveals to us in His Word, although they are not seen, are eternal.

Dearly Beloved 9/9/19 "It is Only a Matter of Time"

It Is Only a Matter of Time

Dearly beloved of God, these are the last days and the coming of the Lord for his saints draws closer with each sunrise. Our Lord will come to save, redeem, and deliver his dearly beloved brethren.

Dear ones, Jesus Christ has already paid the price for our deliverance and today we enjoy many of the benefits that he made available. When he comes we will enjoy the good pleasure of God’s will forever. He will show us full and complete deliverance forever.

We are still mortal today, and if the Lord should tarry, it is appointed unto man once to die. When the Lord comes he will raise the dead in Christ first.

Dearly Beloved 9/8/19 "His Throne of Grace"

His Throne of Grace

Dearly beloved of God, God reveals that His throne is a throne of grace to His people. Not only that, He encourages us to approach Him there with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find His Divine favor to help in our time of need.

He gave us His spirit so that we could have access to Him there, and then he encourages us to use it with boldness and confidence that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Go boldly to Him there in the name of Jesus Christ.

Everything begins at the House of God, at His throne. He is the source of our help, our deliverance. Go to Him and ask for His help when you need it. Don’t forget, it was His idea to give you this access and for you to be confident and bold when you approach Him.

God says that He resists the proud, but He gives His Divine favor to the humble. A humble person is someone that believes what He says. Therefore, submit yourself to God, believe what He says and walk out on it. Humble yourself in His sight and He will lift you up.

He says that if we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. Our heart’s desire should be to live to be well pleasing to Him, to do His will.

Cast your every concern upon Him because He cares for you. Beloved, the God of all grace called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus and it is His will that we come to His throne of grace to find mercy and grace to help in our time of need.

It is that throne of grace before which we are seated in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus.

We must never forget that the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe is according to the working of His mighty power which He energized in the Christ when He raised him from the dead and seated him at His right hand in the heavenly realm. That is the power that works in us, dearly beloved.

Live before His throne day by day and He will lift you up. You are His dearly beloved and highly favored child.

Dearly Beloved 9/7/19 "One With Him"

One With Him

Dearly beloved of God, because of Jesus Christ’s work for us and God’s grace to us we are in Christ, we are one with him, in union with him. We share with Christ in every one of his accomplishments!

We are members of the body of Christ and each member of his body is filled with all [every spiritual blessing] in all [in every single member]. We are as much one with him as a husband and wife are one flesh; we are members of his body! We are one with him.

The Lord Jesus Christ told his disciples that he was the vine and they were the branches. We are no less in him than they were to be; we are as he is! Listen to what he prayed in the garden the night he was arrested.

Dearly Beloved 9/6/19 "Christ's Work, God's Grace, and You"

Christ’s Work, God’s Grace, and You

Dearly beloved of God, “I was crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith [pistis: believing] of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

By the grace of God each of us can say the same thing. According to Romans 8: 9 and 10, God no longer considers us to stand before Him in the flesh, that is, in our old nature. We stand before Him in Christ.

“If anyone does not have the spirit, that is to say, Christ, then he does not belong to him, but since Christ dwells in you, then the body [the old nature] is indeed dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of justness.” Romans 8:9b -10 The Working Translation, Rev. Cummins

Oh, rejoice, dearly beloved! Since Christ dwells in us we have spirit life, and that life is eternal life. We received the spirit of sonship when we were born again. Now we are the sons of God and we stand before Him in Christ!

Dearly Beloved 9/5/19 "He Sent It"

He Sent It

Dearly beloved of God, our God is the LORD our God that heals us. He sent His Son to save us and we were healed by his stripes.

As surely as Jesus Christ died for our sins so that we could live unto righteousness, he paid for our healing with the beatings he took for us.

When he walked the earth, he always did the Father’s will. He went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil because God was with him.

He sent the promise of the Father, the promised gift of holy spirit, and today we have the life-giving spirit of Christ in us. Now we have the ability to do the Father’s will and deliver those in need from the oppression of the devil.

Dearly Beloved 9/4/19 "Who Will Deliver Us?"

Who Will Deliver Us?

Dearly beloved of God, our God is able! Our challenges may be great, but our God is greater than any conflict we will ever face.

Our flood is no greater than Noah’s. Our journey is no more difficult than Abraham’s. Our enemy is not a giant like David’s. Our sickness is no worse than Hezekiah’s. Our loss is no worse than Job’s. Our poverty is no worse than the prophet’s wife.

God delivered them all from overwhelming odds against them, and He is faithful; He will deliver us if we will look to Him.

Dearly Beloved 9/1/19 "Our True Identity"

Our True Identity

Dearly beloved of God, we confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead, and He saved us. By God’s great grace, now we are the sons of God, and our Father freely gives us all things with His Son, Jesus Christ.

God made us partakers of His divine nature by freely giving us the gift of His holy spirit, the spirit of sonship. His spirit now bears witness to our inner being that we are the children of God, and if we are children, we are heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. He made us adequate to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Almighty God is now our Father and He blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. He has sealed us with the spirit of sonship, which is the earnest, the down payment of our inheritance, until Christ Jesus our Lord returns to redeem us.
