One With Him

Dearly beloved of God, because of Jesus Christ’s work for us and God’s grace to us we are in Christ, we are one with him, in union with him. We share with Christ in every one of his accomplishments!

We are members of the body of Christ and each member of his body is filled with all [every spiritual blessing] in all [in every single member]. We are as much one with him as a husband and wife are one flesh; we are members of his body! We are one with him.

The Lord Jesus Christ told his disciples that he was the vine and they were the branches. We are no less in him than they were to be; we are as he is! Listen to what he prayed in the garden the night he was arrested.

John 17:18-23
As Thou hast sent Me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word.
That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, are in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us: that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me.
And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one:
I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me.

Think about what he prayed: sent, sanctified, his witnesses, one with him, glorified, perfect in one, and loved as God loved Christ. He fulfilled the good pleasure of the Father’s will and it is all a reality now, beloved of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ paid the price to accomplish the will of God and make these things available, and God raised him from the dead to verify and authenticate his victory - his victory over sin, over death, over the devil, over every principality, power, might, and dominion, and over every name that is named, not only in this age, but in that which is to come. God put everything under his feet; he is Lord over all, and he is the head of the Church, which is his body, and we are members in particular of that body and he filled us with all in all of us! We are one with him!

When we confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead we changed natures. We were by nature the children of wrath. In Christ we are now the sons of God and we are partakers of the divine nature! Dearly beloved, we are one with him.

Since we are one with him, we ought to believe it, walk like it, pray like it, exercise the power and authority that is ours in Christ and do the works he did and greater because he has gone to the Father and made it available. In Christ we are more than conquerors, victors, and in him we reign in life! We are one with him!

Are you looking at the one in your old nature, or are you beholding the one with the glory of the Lord living in them?

Sin consciousness robs God’s people of the joy in their walks with Him. Sin consciousness imprisons God’s people and blinds them to the reality of who they are in Christ. It defeats us by conditioning us to believe that we are unworthy and not good enough to walk with the power, authority, and victory that God sent Christ to accomplish for us.

Beloved, in ourselves we were unworthy, but God made us worthy in Christ! Christ overcame the reign of sin and death.

To walk worthy is to believe what God did in Christ and live accordingly. If you want to see the power of God live in your life you will have to believe the revelation God gave us concerning who we are in Christ.

God instructs us to walk by believing, not by sight. The believing we are to walk by is the believing of the revelation God revealed concerning who we are in Christ, and in the power and authority we have in him.

Our Father delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His Beloved Son. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory! One!

As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk you in him. You are one with him!

You are complete in him, filled to the brim with all he accomplished. One!

He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. You are one with him!

You are more than a conqueror through him that loved you. One! Walk in your oneness with Christ, dearly beloved.
