God is Faithful
Dearly beloved of God, God is faithful to His Word. That means that He is One on Whom we can rely. We can be confident in His words, His instructions, His promises. Every word of His will comes to pass as He has spoken them. He means what He says, and He says what He means. We can take Him at His Word.
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent. What has He said that He will not do it? What has He said that He will not make good on it?
If I was a betting man, I wouldn’t bet against God’s faithfulness to perform His Word. His track record is perfect. Those who listen to Him will not be disappointed in their expectations.
The LORD God Almighty does not need our counsel, we need to listen to His.
He has told us the end from the beginning. Have we not heard, have we not known that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth faints not, neither is He weary. There is no searching of His understanding. There is no God besides Him.
He has given us a song in the night so we might have gladness of heart. Fear not, neither be afraid. Has He not spoken, and shall he not bring it to pass? Dearly beloved, He is faithful.
He says, “Look unto Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am GOD, and there is none else. I have sworn by Myself; the word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.”
The ones that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed, but those who trust Him shall be justified and glorified; He said so.
“Remember the former things of old: for I am GOD, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure.’” Thus saith the LORD.
Where there is no knowledge of God the people wander aimlessly. They don't have the resources or the answers they need to live a more abundant life.
Dearly beloved, God is faithful to His Word. Stand on His Word and you will never be disappointed in your expectations.
God is the power behind His Word. He energizes it and brings it to pass by His mighty power. His Word is a living word, and it effectually works in those who believe it.
God is faithful; never forget it.
