Dearly Beloved 6/30/20 "We Are In a Fight"

We Are in a Fight

Dearly beloved of God, God is the Light in the midst of the darkness that surrounds us. Regardless of our enemies, God is our Deliverer. Regardless of the odds against us, the Almighty God is for us. He is our sufficiency in every situation.
Fear not, you are not alone. He will never leave you, or ever, ever forsake you.
The pandemic, riots and the burning of our cities have both devastated lives, and our economy, an attempt to defund the police, closing prisons and releasing criminals, a corrupt press, history revision, cancel culture, mob rule, a critical election (so vote!), a push to change how we vote, race baiting, a failed educational system, open boarders, gangs and crime ruining our inner cities, sanctuary cities, the “swamp” and corrupt politicians are only symptoms of the problem: walking away from the One True God is the problem.
Fear not! This is not a political fight though it may appear to be so at first glance. It is the same one that began with the overthrow in the first heaven and earth, and later in the garden.

Dearly Beloved 6/29/20 "What More Must I do?"

What More Must I Do?

Dearly beloved of God, what more can I do to gain a better standing before God?
Colossians 2:10-12
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
In Whom [Christ Jesus the Lord] also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God Who hath raised Him from the dead.
The focus here is on Christ Jesus our Lord and his accomplishments – not ours.
First this compares the circumcision under the old covenant with the reality of the new covenant in Christ. Israel was circumcised as the sign of the covenant that God made with Abraham. Our circumcision was “made without hands,” in putting off the old man “by the circumcision of Christ.” Which one would you rather have?

Dearly Beloved 6/28/20 "God Made, Not Man Made"

God Made, Not Man Made
Dearly beloved of God, there is one body in Christ. God, His Father conceived the idea of one body in Christ. He planned for it since the overthrow in the garden.
Jesus Christ the Lord did the work to make this body possible. God put all things in subjection under Christ’s feet and made him head over all things in the Church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
The Lord will return for the members of his body, the Church, and gather them together up to him in the air, and from then on the members will be with him forever.
This body is a group that God constituted to be “in Christ” due to our vital union with him. This body has nothing to do with color, race, nationality, or sex. It is a spiritual body, not a fleshly one.

Dearly Beloved 6/27/20 "Radical Change"

Radical Change
Dearly beloved of God, let’s talk about radical change! God revealed to the Apostle Paul that it is “Christ in you, the hope of glory!”
This revelation truth sets before us “the riches of the glory” of the mystery of God among the Gentiles, which was hidden in God from ages and generations, but is now made manifest to God’s saints. What God did in Christ is more radical than any change people are pursuing today.
What is “the mystery of God?” “That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the gospel:” Ephesians 3:6

Dearly Beloved 6/26/20 "Fear Leads to Bondage"

Fear Leads to Bondage

Dearly beloved of God, fear has ruined more individual Christian lives than anything else. Fear ruins those with ministries in the Church, also, when they succumb to its influence.

Fear does not come from God. “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” II Timothy 1:7
Take note where this verse is found. To whom was this revelation directed? To Timothy, a minister of God.

Fear encases, it enslaves, it binds people, and holds them in bondage.

After the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, fear kept the disciples and apostles locked behind closed doors for fear of the Jews.

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption [sonship], whereby we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8: 15

Fear does not set men and women free; it opens them up to bondage and enslaves. It stops us from walking in the deliverance of the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ our Lord.Let’s consider what fear did to Peter, Barnabas, and others with them.

Dearly Beloved 6/24/20 "Members of the Body of Christ"

Members of the Body of Christ

Dearly beloved of God, congratulations for being accepted for membership in the body of Christ. You now stand before God in Christ. You are now a son of God, and that is quite an elite standing.

In this body there is equality among its members. There is no superiority of some members while others are treated as inferior. Each and every member stands before God in Christ without any other trial or evaluation. All members are wholly acceptable in Christ. There is no segregation among our members.4

I would like to go over some of our membership by-laws with you.

In Christ, each member of this illustrious body is called, saved, redeemed, forgiven our past sins by the riches of His grace which He abounded to us.

Dearly Beloved 6/23/20 "Stay!"

Stay!

Dearly beloved of God, you know your own heart. When you fill your heart with the Word of God and begin to think like He thinks about you, you will have confidence towards God and be at peace, but, being people, at times we may be more influenced by what other people think about us.

Small minded people talk about people. Average minded people talk about events. Great minded people talk about God and His Word. Have you ever heard that before, beloved of God? Don't worry about what small minded people think or say.

At times we do not think straight. We get overwhelmed by our emotions, hurt because of how we are treated by others, even crushed by what we hear others say about us. Stop!

Think in the same manner as Jesus Christ thought; he thought about everything in the same manner His Father thought about it.

He controlled his thinking, instead of his thinking controlling him. How do we do that? We do it one thought at a time. We lead one thought captive at a time.

Dearly Beloved 6/21/20 "He Changed My Life, He Could Change Yours"

He Changed My Life, He Could Change Yours

Dearly beloved of God, and we are, God has given us His Word that His promises are true. There was a time in my life that I was dead in sin and I wandered aimlessly through life not knowing why I was alive. I was lost.

I prayed to God that somehow He would provide me with answers, and show me the way because I was lost, and I knew it.

Shortly after that He sent one of His children to speak His Word to me. He operated the power of God’s spirit and miraculously healed me. He took me to a class that provided me with the answers I needed. For the first time I knew that God was my Father, and I knew His tender compassion and great love for me. I finally knew His peace.

God has not changed. He will do the same for anyone that hungers and thirsts after righteousness.

When I was without strength, and was yet dead in sin, Christ died on my behalf. He gave me spirit life that changed me from the inside out.

I knew that I was now a child of God and I had proof of it. I knew that I had eternal life. I was no longer lost, and I no longer wandered aimlessly through life. I had peace that surpassed understanding.

Not only did I have these things, I received the spirit of sonship when I was born again and it enabled me to do the works Jesus Christ did and greater because he went to the Father to make it possible. I saw signs, miracles, and wonders that I never before thought possible. They became a new normal in my life.

The same Living God that saved me will save anyone. The answers He gave me from His Word are there for anyone who asks Him for wisdom. The same love and peace He showed me is available to anyone.

Anyone who confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead will be saved. They are dearly beloved by the Father, they are born again of God’s spirit, and they will receive eternal life when Christ Jesus our Lord returns to gather us together unto him.

Look to Him for the answers you need, dearly beloved, He will give them to you.

Dearly Beloved 6/20/20 "Rejoice in the Hope"

Rejoice in the Hope

Dearly beloved of God, the Lord Jesus Christ gave us the introduction and entrance into the state of God’s divine favor. We now firmly and safely stand in His grace towards us. We do not have to earn this access; it is now ours through the work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We now stand in God’s grace, not in our works. We rest in God’s grace; that is why we can exult; we can rejoice in the hope of enjoying the glory of God!

We have gone from being dead in sin to alive before God; from condemned to redeemed; from headed into the wrath of God to saved from the wrath; from enemies of God to beloved sons of God. Our hearts and minds should overflow with thankfulness for the undeserved, divine favor shown us in Christ.

Dearly Beloved 6/19/20 "What Did God Have in Mind?"

What Did God Have in Mind?

Dearly beloved of God, what did God have in mind when He called us? Our experience begins when we are born again of God’s spirit and we enter the Kingdom of God, but was that the goal God had in mind when He called us?

In the Bible we read about some wonderful people that He called before us. Then, we read in Hebrews 11 that “These all died in faith, not having received the promises….”

In the next chapter we read, “Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

Jesus Christ is the only one to receive the promise thus far; all the others died not having received the promises. The chief priest and the Sanhedrin had Jesus killed, he was buried for three days and three nights, but God raised him from the dead, he ascended into heaven, and God set him at His right hand. We will receive the promise also at some point.

Dearly Beloved 6/18/20 "Living Love"

Living Love

Dearly beloved of God, there is nothing like being in the presence of someone that walks in the love of God. You can “feel” the healing presence of God’s love. You can sense the peace and comfort it brings to your heart. It is rest to your soul. It is like a tender embrace.

I cannot imagine how wonderful it will be to live in the presence of God, our Father, and His wonderful Son, and in the demonstration of His wonderful love for us for ever and ever. Oh, what a day that will be!

Until then we can love to the best of our spiritual ability. We can love one another as Christ loved his own to the furthest extent as he walked in the good pleasure of His Father’s will. To love as he did you have to utilize the manifestations of the spirit.

Love heals, it lifts up, it edifies, it comforts, it hits the mark, it ministers peace, and it speaks words that are fitly spoken and ministers to the need. Love ministers deliverance to people wherever they may be in their lives. It lifts up, it does not put people down.

We can speak God’s Word with the lips of love, touch those in need with the healing touch of the Master’s hand, and walk in other people’s shoes with the love of God so that we are understanding, we are comforting, and uplifting. God’s love in our lives allows us to identify with people right where they are and tenderly put them back together.

Love makes us capable of ministering as God’s servant to those desperate souls in need of deliverance, souls like we once were.

You know when someone genuinely cares about you or they do not. Live the love of God without hypocrisy.

Love never uses people; it lifts people out of the cesspool of this evil age into the light of God’s presence and His tender loving care. Love is forgiving; it does not judge, or hold grudges. Love does not think evil. The love of God sets people free.

There is nothing greater than the love of God manifested in our lives to others. Just live love, dearly beloved of God; the love of God will make the difference in every situation and to every person you serve. Live with the love of God dear ones for God is love.

Dearly Beloved 6/17/20 "Walking With Our Father"

Walking With Our Father

Dearly beloved of God, we are God’s masterpieces created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his good works, not ours. We must get to the place that we believe what God says about us if we are to walk with Him. We walk in Christ's accomplishments, not our own.

Too often we look at our flesh and our shortcomings, and then try to improve on them to become spiritual men and women. That is not the correct formula if we are going to please Him.

If we are to walk with the Living God as our Father and have confidence toward Him we must walk by believing, believing what He says instead of believing information from any other source, such as our conscience, what other’s may say about us, what we may think about ourselves, how we feel about ourselves, etc.

There is nothing good in our flesh, so stop seeking its approval. We are not under any obligation to the flesh to live according to the flesh.

Comparing your flesh to anyone else's flesh is just foolish. There is no good thing in our flesh – nothing - not in ours and not in anyone else's!

We have to know what God thinks of us, and He tells us what He thinks about us in His Word. Once we know what He thinks, it is ours to believe it. We walk by believing, not by sight.

Dearly Beloved 6/15/20 "The Power of Words"

The Power of Words

Dearly beloved of God, there is power in words. We have the power to lift people up or cut their legs out from under them with our words.

Jesus Christ told the devil that we do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. God is the power behind His words.

The parable of the Sower provides us with some wonderful insight into the mystery of the Kingdom of God, along with other parables he spoke in light of the Kingdom of God. You can find the record in Matthew 13 and Mark 4.

“When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then comes the wicked one, and catches away the word that was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the wayside.
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that hears the word, and immediately with joy receives it, yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, but when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he is offended.
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that hears the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that hears the word, and understands it, which also bears fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

Dearly Beloved 6/14/20 "Crowned with His Loving Kindness and Tender Mercies"

Crowned with His Loving Kindness and Tender Mercies

Dearly beloved of God, we are crowned with our Father’s loving kindness and His tender mercies. Listen to His words:

"Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies." Psalm 103:4

"Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me." Psalm 40:11

"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions." Psalm 51:1

"Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good; turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies." Psalm 69:16

"The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all: and His tender mercies are over all His works." Psalm 145:8-9

Dearly Beloved 6/13/20 "You Are Styling Now"

You Are Styling Now

Dearly beloved of God and highly favored in His sight, boy oh boy are we blessed!

I woke up this morning and realized I am still here; oh well, so I got out of bed and took a shower: I bathed in Christ’s accomplishments. God made Christ Jesus to be wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption to me.

I got out of the shower and looked in the mirror and there it was, the glory of the Lord, Christ in me, the hope of glory! We all with unveiled face are beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are transformed into the same image, from the glory of the new birth to the glory of our hope in Christ, even as by the spirit of the Lord. Yep, that is what I see!

I went to the closet to find something to put on and I put on Christ. I realized that I was crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me, and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the right way of believing concerning the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Dearly Beloved 6/12/20 "Puffed Up or Edified?"

Puffed Up or Edified?

Dearly beloved of God, knowledge puffs up, but the love of God edifies. If any man thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know, but if any man loves God, the same is known of Him. We all have room for growth.

Knowledge without the love of God is like so much hot air, compared to knowledge mixed with the love of God which edifies.

When it comes to spiritual matters where do we gain knowledge? We get our knowledge from God, either from His Word or by revelation.

How does God expect us to use the knowledge that He gives us? He expects us to mix it with the love of God and manifest to others for their edification. Knowledge in and of itself may puff up, or if it is mixed with the love of God it will edify.

Dearly Beloved 6/11/20 "His Dearly Beloved"

His Dearly Beloved

When I write “dearly beloved of God” I do not take those words for granted, and I do not use them lightly.. I don’t know of anything that means more to me than I am dearly beloved by my Heavenly Father.

God gave His only begotten Son for you and me and we are what He got in return. He says that we His dearly beloved; what more could we ask from Him?

The Lord Jesus Christ gave his life for us, what greater love could a man have than to lay his life down for them?

As God’s children we should do our utmost to walk in His love. We ought to love one another and pursue the things which make for peace and wherewith we may edify one another. Live love.

Dearly Beloved 6/10/20 "Against all Odds"

Against all Odds

Dearly beloved of God, to say we live in turbulent times is an understatement, but our times pale in comparison to the world conditions that surrounded Jesus Christ’s day.

King Herod attempted to have Jesus murdered from the day that he heard of his birth from the Magi. His family had to flee for their lives to Egypt. Jesus grew up under the tyranny of the Roman Empire. There had not been a prophet in Israel for some 400 years. The Lord Jesus told the priests that governed Judaism that they were born of their father the devil, and they were the spiritual leaders of the nation. The religious leaders sought to murder him as well as the political leaders.

The odds of Jesus making an impact on his society was certainly not in his favor; every aspect of world power was against him. In spite of the odds against him, he made the greatest impact on people’s lives in human history.

Dearly Beloved 6/7/20 "Lord, Open My Eyes"

Lord, Open My Eyes

Dearly beloved, God is with you and in you in every situation that you will face today.

There was a time when the king of Syria warred against Israel. Elisha was a faithful prophet in Israel at that time.

Time after time he told the king of Israel where the Syrians were going to attack them. The king of Syria thought that one of his top men was leaking top secret information to the king of Israel because every sneak attack he planned was exposed before it took place.

The king of Syria said, “Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?” One of his servants told him, “None, my lord O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedchamber.” Now that’s pretty good intelligence!

Dearly Beloved 6/6/20 "The Exceeding Riches of His Grace"

The Exceeding Riches of His Grace

Dearly beloved of God, the Lord Jesus Christ justified us freely by his grace through the redemption that is in him.

What could those who were dead in sin, ungodly, enemies of God, and who were at one time by nature the children of wrath do to deserve such riches of God’s grace?

Were we justified because we have kept the law given to Moses? No, the Scriptures declare that both Judeans and Gentiles are “all under sin.” “There is none righteous, no, not even one.” “Therefore,” the Word of God declares, “by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

Were we justified from sin because of our goodness? Jesus Christ said that there was none good save God. He included himself in this statement when the rich man came to him and called him good master.

Dearly Beloved 6/5/20 "World Issues"

World Issues

Dearly beloved of God, the world’s issues will never be God’s issues.

The world’s issues produce bitter envying and strife in people’s hearts. Worldly wisdom does not descend from above, it is earthly, sensual, and devilish; for where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

The world attempts to divide us by race, creed, income, and color. They play the race card to gain power over people so that they can control them.

God wants us to be born again of His spirit so we can have eternal life and walk as new men in Christ Jesus; that is the only thing that will ever truly make us free and unite us.

Dearly Beloved 6/5/20 "The Goodness of God Towards Us in Christ"

The Goodness of God Towards Us in Christ

Dearly beloved of God, be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

We must bring our thinking processes in line with who we are in Christ as God has dealt to every one of us the measure to be believed.

In Christ we are born again of God’s spirit and we are the children of God. In him we are the righteousness of God. We are justified from the sins that are past. There is no more condemnation to those who are in Christ and nothing can separate us from His great love.

We are saved, redeemed, and reconciled by Christ. In Christ dwells the fullness of the divine nature bodily and we are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power.

Dearly Beloved 6/1/20 "It is Not Complicated"

It is Not Complicated

Dearly beloved of God, confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead and you are saved, you have everlasting life, and you are a son of the Living God.

As a son learn who you are and put it in application. Learn about your sonship rights, your privileges as a son, and the abilities you have because of the gift of holy spirit you received when you were born again and saved. Start thinking like the son of God you are.

Feed your mind with the Word of God. Let His Word be the joy and rejoicing of your heart. Study it to show yourself approved unto God: you don’t have to stand approved before anyone else. The Word will be like a fire shut up in your bones when you dwell in it.

Edify your spirit by speaking in tongues much; you are speaking directly to your Father divine secrets. The more you speak in tongues, the more fluent you will become in the other eight manifestations of the spirit. You will grow in receptivity, your confidence, and it will build you up spiritually.

Live with the love of God in the renewed mind in evidence in your life. Do those things that please your Father. He loves you, and cares for you: He has your back. You are His delight, His dearly beloved. Listen to Him, both from the scriptures and from His spirit and do those things that please Him, and He will direct your path.

This is Christianity and the walk of a beloved child of God. It is not complicated. Go out there and live love. Such as you have freely received… freely give! It is Christ in you, the hope of glory!
