Dearly Beloved

God’s Heart Concerning Us (Part Two)
Dearly beloved of God, other than God who could have conceived such exceeding riches of His grace toward us in Christ Jesus. Such riches as these had never come into the mind of man.
God our Father is the One that delights in our prayers, and promises to answer them. He gave us access to Him as our Father by the spirit, and He exhorts us to boldly use it with confidence.
He always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus.
He made us more than conquerors in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God’s Heart Concerning Us
Dearly beloved of God, what is in God’s heart concerning us? Apparently, quite a lot.
I Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”
Apparently He put a lot of thought, preplanning, and effort into these things. These things were a mystery until Christ accomplished all that was necessary to make them possible, and then He revealed this revelation to the Apostle Paul. No one had a clue about them. As we shall see, they were beyond anything we could ask or think about.
In this mystery concerning Christ were hidden all the treasures of wisdom and understanding. Who would have ever conceived such riches as these? Let's consider a few.

Citizens Worthy of the Gospel of Christ
Dearly beloved of God, we formerly walked according to the course of this age, according to the ruler of the authority of the atmosphere, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.
Likewise, we all had our manner of life among them formerly in the cravings of our flesh, doing the wills of the flesh and of the mind, and by nature we were children of wrath, even as the rest.
However, God, Who is rich in mercy because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace we are saved), and He raised us up together and caused us to sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus so that in the coming ages He might display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

The Day of Christ
Dearly beloved of God, you can be confident that He Who began a good work in you will continue to perform it until the Day of Christ Jesus.
What is the Day of Christ Jesus? This is the day that Christ Jesus will return to gather together the members of the Church, which is the body of Christ. See also, Philippians 1:10; 2:16; 3:12-14, 20 21.
I Thessalonians 4:15-18, and I Corinthians 15:51-54 describes what will occur when Christ, the head of the Church, returns for the members of his body, and gathers it up to meet him in the air. I Corinthians 1:8, 3:13; II Corinthians 1:14; 2 Timothy 1:18, and 4:8 also refer to this coming. It will be the inaugural event of eternity for the Church.

Is It True?
Dearly beloved of God, not only is God our God, God is our Father.
God told Abraham, “I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.” Genesis 17:7
God told the children of Israel, “For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.” Leviticus 11:45
He said, “I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.” Leviticus 25:38

Victory Against All Odds
Dearly beloved of God, our God is faithful and He is reliable. He reveals that His Word is His Will, and He is able and willing to fulfill it.
We can count on our God. He is not limited by the difficulty of the situation we face. When we face a situation that is beyond our ability to overcome we must not forget that God is GOD, and He is both able and willing to deliver us. He always works for our good.
We should learn from history. Let's consider some examples.
God delivered Israel when they were enslaved by the world power of Egypt. The odds were against them, but God delivered them by His mighty hand. He made a path through the sea for them on dry ground, while the Egyptian Pharaoh, and his army were destroyed in it.
The world power Babylon conquered Israel and led them into captivity.

The Good Pleasure of His Will
Dearly beloved of God, so few know the good, well pleasing, and perfect will of God concerning us. They have never been taught the good pleasure of our Father's Will, or that regardless of what we face in life He only works for our good. This is a shame.
What is His will concerning us? God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ accomplished His Will. See Romans 10:9.
Jesus Christ accomplished the will of God in his death and resurrection from the dead. We share in his accomplishments as joint heirs with him.
We are born of the spirit from God, we are children, heirs, and joint-partakers with Christ, and it will take God our Father the ages to come to show us the exceeding riches of His grace in loving kindness and tender mercies in Christ Jesus. God is never against us, beloved.

Rely on God
Dearly beloved of God, God promised Abraham an heir in the face of Sarah’s barrenness, and in spite of their old age. God was both able and willing to perform His promise to him.
This was not written for Abraham’s sake alone, but for ours also. God is able and willing to save us if we will confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead; he was delivered for our offenses, and he was raised again for our justification.
God is able, and He is willing to keep His Word. He is faithful, and reliable. We can trust Him to keep His Word, so rely on Him, dearly beloved.
Proverbs 3:5 and 6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Our Hope of Salvation
Dearly beloved of God, if we have confessed with the mouth the Lord Jesus, and believed in the heart that God raised him from the dead we have met the Biblically specified requirements for salvation [Romans 10:9], and in Christ we have a glorious hope ahead of us.
The moment we confess Romans 10:9 we are saved. We are born again of the spirit from God, and have entered the kingdom of God.
When God sends the Lord Jesus Christ to gather us up to meet him in the air we will physically enter the kingdom of God, and enjoy that for which we hope today. We will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ as joint heirs with him.
Today we are heirs of salvation, and when Christ returns that hope will become a reality.

The Coming of Christ
Dearly beloved of God, there are two parts to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ: his coming for the Church of the Grace of God to gather us up to him in the air, and his coming to the earth in the Lord’s Day.
I Corinthians 15:51-54 and I Thessalonians 4:15-18 describe Christ’s coming for the Church. Both the dead in Christ and those who are living will be gathered together up to meet the Lord in the air.
Those who are corrupting in the grave will be raised incorruptible, and the mortal ones will put on immortality.
Philippians 3:20 and 21
For our conversation [citizenship] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
The Lord Jesus Christ has given us the victory over sin and death. He is the first born from the dead, and he dies no more. At his coming to gather us together up to meet him in the air we will receive our victory over death.

At His Coming
Dearly beloved of God, we should realize that every living thing dies; plants, animals, and people. Death is the end of life. In the face of this stark reality, God provided the human race with the hope of being delivered from death.
Hebrews 2:14 and 15
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself [Jesus] likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Jesus Christ died in our stead so that he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil. He died for us. Those who believe in him no longer have to be in bondage to the fear of death.

The Door is Open
Dearly beloved of God, the door is open. God our Father has given us privileged access to Him by the spirit we received in the new birth, and He encourages us to use it with boldness and confidence.
The eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the LORD: He is our help and our shield.
The psalmist sought the LORD and He heard him, and delivered him from all his fears, from all that made him afraid. The LORD heard him. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry. The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles; He is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and He saves those who are bruised.

A Child of Privilege
Dearly beloved of God, as a child of God you are a child of privilege. Your Father is the God of all in heaven and on the earth. He gave you access by the spirit of sonship when you were born again. You have privileged access to He who sits on the throne in the throne room of grace. You are a most privileged insider in the kingdom of God.
You have the ear of the Most Powerful God. His ears are open to your prayers. We have confidence that if we ask anything according to His Will, (which by the way, He has clearly made known to us in His Word,) we know that He hears us, and we know that we have the petitions we asked of Him.
How many would give their right arm to have access like ours? Just listen to the “news;” people pay billions of dollars to have access such as the access we have to the Almighty God; don't take it for granted, beloved.

Joint Heirs With Christ
Dearly beloved of God, in Christ God our Father has blessed each and everyone of His children with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. We are complete in Christ, who is the head of all principality and power. It is “all in all” of us. The Father freely gives us all things with Christ. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory, and we are joint heirs with Christ.
In Christ each and every one of God’s children is justified, forgiven by the riches of His grace, which He has abounded toward us, and there is no more condemnation to those who are in Christ. He delivered us from the wrath to come.
In Christ, we were given access to God by the new birth spirit, and He exhorts us to use it with boldness and confidence.
In Christ, we have the spiritual ability to manifest the nine manifestations of holy spirit. The ability is in the gift; the spirit of sonship.
In Christ, we are sanctified, and we stand before God as holy and without blame. In His sight we are beloved, and highly favored.
In Christ, we are saved, redeemed, and reconciled to God.
In Christ, we have the hope of acquiring the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. We will be glorified together with him when he comes to gather us together up to meet him in the air.

What Do You See?
Dearly beloved of God, the Word of God is our only rule for faith and practice. The Word of God reveals the Will of God. Every last word of it is “God-breathed,” and He gave it for our profit. God does not want us ignorant of spiritual matters; He wants the eyes of understanding enlightened.
God would have all people to be saved and to come unto a knowledge of the truth. The old serpent, the devil, does not want people saved, nor to come to a knowledge of the truth. He blinds people’s eyes, he deceives them with his lies, and leads them away from the One True and Living God.
God has given us a choice; we can believe Him, or believe the lies of this evil age. How do we discern between the truth and the lies? We take everything we hear back to God’s Word and hear what God says about it. God reveals the way He wants us to believe. The right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God.

Do You Know Who You Are?
Dearly beloved of God, do you know who you really are. I’ll tell you who you are. You are a child of God, born of the spirit from Him. You are born again of the spirit of sonship. That makes you a son of God, an heir of God, and a joint heir with Christ.
God made you a member of the body of Christ, which is the Church. The Lord Jesus Christ is the head of this body, and you are a member in particular. God your Father freely gives you all things with Christ. Everything that you are, you are in Christ. You are filled with all in all of you.
Now you have Christ in you, the hope of glory, and in Christ God your Father has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.
You are complete in Christ, who is the head of all principality and power. You are as he is. You are united with him in his accomplishments, justified and glorified with him. You are one with him as a husband and wife are one flesh. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the Church.

Critical Race “Theory”
Dearly beloved of God, our problems do not stem from the color of our skin, but from the reign of sin and death. Sin knows no color, and it produces death in every human being whether black or white, brown, or yellow.
God sent His Son to save the world from the sin of Adam and the death it brought upon mankind. Jesus Christ justified us from the sin and the death that Adam brought upon mankind.
Death is the loss of life. The sin of Adam brought the condemnation the very same day he transgressed the commandment of God. He lost the spirit life that God had created in him. He died spiritually, and no longer had a Spirit to spirit relationship with God.
Adam lived on as a natural man of body and soul until his physical death. He lived a total of nine hundred and thirty years, and then he died physically.

Victory after Victory
Dearly beloved of God, God our Father was blessed to bless us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. In Christ, and by his accomplishments we have victory after victory.
He called us to acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus; we are new creations. He freely gives us all things with Christ.
It will take God our Father the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus. Rejoice!
In Christ, whosoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
In Christ we have been delivered from the reign of sin and death over us. Sin did reign over us unto death, but now grace reigns through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our God Has Not Changed
Dearly beloved saints, isn't it wonderful to know that God our Father is Who He says He is, and we can take Him at His Word?
God is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and He created them for us.
He is the All Powerful God; the God of the heavens and of the earth.
He is the Almighty God, almighty in resources to support, to defend, and to supply our every need.
He is Jehovah in relationship to His People. As Jehovah, He is the Lord Who is always present, the Lord that heals us, the Lord that forgives us, the Lord that sanctifies us, the Lord that fights for us, the Lord that prospers us, the Lord that provides for us, He is the Lord our canopy, He is the Lord our righteousness. He is the Lord Who redeems us. He is the Lord our Shepherd.

Go, Stand, and Speak
Dearly beloved of God, “God did not give us the spirit of cowardice but of power and of love and of sober thinking.”
God our Father has given us the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus.
“He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the time of the ages.”
“Those things were manifested in the present time by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who makes death inactive and brings life and immortality to light through the gospel.” Read II Timothy 1.
If we are to manifest sound thinking, sober thinking, we must believe the Word of God concerning Jesus Christ’s accomplishments. The right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God concerning Christ.

Christ Freed Us with Freedom
Dearly beloved of God, we just celebrated the birth of our freedom as citizens of the United States of America, but that does not compare to the freedom that Jesus Christ accomplished for us; he delivered us from the reign of sin and death over us by his resurrection out from among the dead!
Which of our God-given rights set forth in Constitution, or the Bill of Rights compares to our freedom from the reign of sin and the condemnation of death? Death no longer has dominion over us!
What compares to our being delivered from the power of darkness? That is far greater than being delivered from the servitude to a foreign despot.
In Christ, and by his accomplishments, God has given us sonship rights, privileges, and spirit ability as His beloved children. Jesus Christ justified us from the reign of the sin of Adam and the condemnation of the death it brought upon mankind.

Citizens of Heaven
Dearly beloved of God, since we are in Christ we are now citizens of the heavenly realm and we are God’s children. We have a legal God-given standing before Him in Christ.
God informs us by His Word that He freely gives us all things with His beloved Son. He justified us, and glorified us with him. In Christ, He blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.
We are sealed with the spirit from God in the new birth, and that gift of holy spirit is the spiritual ability which energizes the nine manifestations of the spirit which were given to us for profit withal.
We have sonship rights, access, and heavenly privileges as God’s children. We are of the royal household of God.

Faint Not
Dearly beloved of God, fear not; God our Father is with you and for you. He will never leave you, or ever, ever forsake you. He dwells in you by the spirit He gave you in the new birth; you are His habitation, His dwelling place.
God our Father gave us access to the throne of grace; we have access to Him by the gift of holy spirit He gave us in the new birth, and He exhorts us to confidently utilize our access to Him. Look to Him for the answers to your prayers.
We should learn from those who came before us.
Noah carried out the will of God at a time when “the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” “It repented the LORD that He had made man, and it grieved Him at His heart.” “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”
God warned Noah of things not as yet seen, and he responded to the revelation with reverence and obedience, and prepared an ark saving his house, by which He condemned the world, and he became an heir of righteousness which is by believing.
Would you trade the difficulty you face for what Noah faced? As God delivered him, He will deliver you from the circumstances you face if you will look to Him for deliverance.

What Do You Live For?
Dearly beloved of God, we should live our lives as though Christ will return today. Press toward the mark for the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus. Contend in the good contest of the right way of believing until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Set your affection on things above, where Christ sits, not on earthly things. Our citizenship is in the heavenly realm; we are seated there in Christ. When Christ who is our life shall appear we will appear with him in glory!
Our citizenship is in heaven from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ who shall change our vile body so that it may be fashioned like his glorious body.
