A Child of Privilege
Dearly beloved of God, as a child of God you are a child of privilege. Your Father is the God of all in heaven and on the earth. He gave you access by the spirit of sonship when you were born again. You have privileged access to He who sits on the throne in the throne room of grace. You are a most privileged insider in the kingdom of God.
You have the ear of the Most Powerful God. His ears are open to your prayers. We have confidence that if we ask anything according to His Will, (which by the way, He has clearly made known to us in His Word,) we know that He hears us, and we know that we have the petitions we asked of Him.
How many would give their right arm to have access like ours? Just listen to the “news;” people pay billions of dollars to have access such as the access we have to the Almighty God; don't take it for granted, beloved.
We know that in everything God works for good with those who love Him! He gave us a standing in Christ in which we are highly favored. We are holy and without blame in His sight. He freely gives us all things with His beloved Son. He has blessed us in Christ with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realm; it is all of them in all of us. God completely filled us in Christ with it all. I would say we are quite privileged indeed.
God has offered us the greatest education in the world today; He has provided us with the revelation knowledge of His Word so that we know His Will, His plan, and the purpose of the ages which He accomplished in the Christ.
He has given us His Word, and instructed us to be diligent to study it to show ourselves approved unto Him as unashamed workmen, rightly dividing the Word of truth. Our Father does not want us to be ignorant about spiritual matters.
He wants us to know the hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He wrought in Christ when He raised him from the dead.
God wants us to know what is available to us, and how to receive it from Him. He wants us to know that He is able and willing to perform His Word in our lives.
God sent His only begotten Son to make Him known. His Son always did His Father’s Will, and he spoke what His Father directed Him to speak. He whom God sent spoke the words of God, for the Spirit did not give the words of God by measure unto him.
He provides us with instruction by apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, which He gave for the complete equipping of the holy ones, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ until we all reach the unity of the right way of believing and of the right knowledge of the Son of God, that is, a mature man, the measure of the full-grown Christ.
God, our Father, does not want His children to remain infants, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the deceptive teaching of crafty men with their strategies of delusion.
In contrast, as we speak the truth in love, let us grow up in all ways in him who is the head, even Christ.
Indeed we are privileged children, dearly beloved of God. Walk as the privileged child you are.
