Now and Forevermore
Dearly beloved of God, God is our Father, and He has called us to be His children now and forevermore. His calling to us in Christ is a reality, and it has bearing on our lives today, as well as throughout eternity.
God is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, and this God is our Father, Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. This truth is an accomplished reality.
Why did Jesus Christ give his life for us? Why did God raise His Son from the dead? Why did God call us in Christ? Why did He show us His grace, mercy, and love in Christ?
God the Father did it so that in the coming ages He might display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Oh, dearly beloved, hide this truth in your heart. This future reality is as true and certain as the current reality of our sonship.
God says that those whom He called, those He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified. He puts “glorified” in the past tense although it is a future reality. Why? He says it this way to emphasize the absolute certainty of it. Nothing can stop Him from performing Will.
Dearly beloved, sonship and our inheritance were His idea and He purposed it in Christ. It was His heart to highly favor us in His beloved Son. He dearly loves us.
God our Father redeemed us in accordance with the good pleasure of His will, which He Himself purposed in Christ, so that in the administration of the fullness of times He might bring all things together under one head in the Christ.
Nothing can stop Him from performing His Will.
God has showed us His grace by proclaiming the gospel regarding the untraceable riches of Christ to the Gentiles.
This good news enlightens everyone about the Administration of the Mystery, the Administration of the Grace of God (which was hidden in God, Who created all things), so that through the Church the multifarious wisdom of God could now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realm in accordance with the purpose of the ages, which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Dearly beloved, God our Father had us in mind in everything He planned and executed in Christ, both now and in the ages to come.
God our Father will freely give us all things with Christ. He freely gives us sonship, and our sonship rights, privileges, and spiritual abilities with him.
He freely gives us access to Him by His spirit.
He will freely give us our inheritance; eternal life, new glorious bodies like Christ’s glorious body, a better environment; in fact, it will take Him the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ!
When Christ appears, we will appear with him in glory, and that will only be the beginning of the glory in the ages to come!
Hide these truths in your heart dearly beloved, the day of our redemption draws nigh.
Walk in the reality of your sonship, dearly beloved, and hide the hope of glory in your heart. It is the anchor of your soul.
Press toward the mark for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Christ in you, the hope of glory will give you the stamina you need to stand in this evil world. It will keep you as pure as he is pure, dearly beloved. He is coming! Rejoice now and forevermore.
