Unlimited Resources
Dearly beloved of God, the first commandment of the law that God gave Israel was, “Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”
If they loved the LORD their God in this manner, with all their heart, soul, and mind they would have had no place for fear because the One True Living God was the only God they needed.
When we love someone it is easier to trust them.
God told them that He was with them to deliver them; He was the LORD their God.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
In spite of His goodness and faithfulness to Israel they changed their gods, for those that were not gods. God’s people changed God’s glory for that which could not profit them.
God said, “My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.”
They forsook the fountain of living waters Who had unlimited resources, for broken clay pots with limited capacity, which could not even hold water. Quite a contrast, isn’t it?
God said these things while they were under the Old Covenant. We are partakers of the New Covenant of the Spirit; it is far more glorious than the old covenant of the law.
“God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Jesus Christ, God’s Son accomplished His Father’s Will, and he gave his life for us so we might have everlasting life, be saved, and become the children of God.
The Father is so loving that whosoever confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead will be saved, they are sealed with the promised gift of holy spirit for the inheritance they will receive when Christ returns to gather us up to him.
God our Father says that in everything He works for good with those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. He justified us and glorified us with Christ. In fact, He freely gives us all things with His Son.
God our Father is so loving that He says it will take Him the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ. WOW!
Dearly beloved, He first loved us, and we ought to be imitators of God as His beloved children. Our Father wants us to believe that we are His handiwork created in Christ Jesus, and to walk in his accomplishments.
We know that He dwells in us, and we dwell in Him, because He has given us of His spirit; all we have to do is manifest it to see the proof that we are His children, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ.
God our Father is our sufficiency in all things, all the time. There is no good thing He withhold from those who love Him. His resources are no less for us today than they were for them.
In Christ, all the promises of God are yea, and amen. Fear not; go to Him Who loves you, and trust Him; He will deliver you as He delivered those who came before us.
Do not limit God as they did; do not be afraid. Love Him, and trust Him with your whole heart. He will not disappoint you.
His Word is always “Fear not.” God our Father is with us and for us. Take His Word for it, and walk with Him believing what He says.
God our Father is the fountain of living waters; the One with unlimited resources to bless, protect, and deliver us. Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you. Expect miracles when you pray, dearly beloved, they are His way.
