Happy Thanksgivings
Dearly beloved of God, when a person confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead he is saved, born again of incorruptible seed, and has entered the kingdom of God. Such grace!
Salvation was God’s idea, not man’s. He determined the standard by which we are saved.
Salvation is the result of the good pleasure of God’s Will; He made it available to mankind because of His great love for us. He demonstrated His exceeding great grace toward us through Jesus Christ and what he accomplished for us. Our only part is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and what he accomplished.
God determined the standard by which He would save people. Jesus Christ did everything required by God to fulfill that standard for salvation.
Then God, by His great grace counted everything that Jesus accomplished, and He set it to our account; He imputed it to us as a gift. Thank God for His unspeakable gift!
Not only did God save us for eternal life, He freely gives us all things with His beloved Son. He blessed in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.
God considers all the saved ones as members of the body of Christ, the Church, and He fills all of us with all that Jesus Christ accomplished.
From God’s point of view we are now “in Christ.” We now stand before God clothed in his accomplishments.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things passed away. Behold, new things have come, and all the new things are from God, Who reconciled us to Himself through Christ.
We are God’s workmanship, His masterpieces, created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his good works so that we can walk in the reality of his accomplishments.
God made Jesus Christ who did not know sin to be sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in him. In Christ, we now stand before God without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation.
Jesus Christ justified us; it is now a done deal. We have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace, which He abounded to us. God blotted out the sins that were against us; He nailed them to Jesus Christ’s cross.
We were dead in sin, but in Christ we are now dead to sin, and alive unto God.
There is therefore now no condemnation, no legal sentence against those who are in Christ. We have been saved from the wrath of God.
In Christ we are the children of God. We are holy and without blame and unimpeachable in God’s sight. In Christ we are highly favored and dearly beloved by the Father.
In Christ we are sealed with the holy spirit of promise which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the acquisition, unto the praise of His glory.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then we shall also appear with him in glory; we are joint heirs with him, beloved, and it will take the Father the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ.
Rejoice and give God thanks! We truly have something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. All of this and more is involved in our salvation. Thank God for sending His Son to save us.
Thank God for all that Jesus Christ accomplished for us, and all he is in us. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory, and we have the certainty that when he appears we will be like him; we will be glorified together with him.
Thank God that He freely gives us all things with His beloved Son. Forget not all His benefits, dearly beloved. Have a life full of happy thanksgivings!
