His Grace is Sufficient
Dearly beloved of God, I marvel at Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God, and all that he accomplished in his ministry as the Lamb of God.
I cannot comprehend the love and commitment he had to do what he did, nor can I comprehend the love the Father has for us to freely give us all things with His beloved Son. My feeble mind can scarce take it in.
I am so thankful for God’s love, grace, and mercy for saving someone like me. Where would we be without the Father’s love, grace, and mercy?
The Apostle Paul said, “By the grace of God I am what I am;” we can say the same. He then said, “and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
God's divine favor is with us also, dearly beloved.
When he went to the Father three times concerning the messengers of Satan that buffeted him as thorns in his flesh, God responded, “’My grace is adequate for you: for My power is perfectly accomplished in weakness.’ Therefore, I will most gladly boast even more in my weaknesses so the power of Christ may reside in me.”
O Father show me your grace that the power of Christ may reside in me in my weaknesses. Where would any of us be without God’s grace in our lives?
God our Father highly favors us in His beloved Son; we are so highly favored that He freely gave us all things with him. He blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.
We are so highly favored that when Jesus died, we died to sin with him just as surely as if we had been crucified next to him. He justified us.
Our Father wants us to know the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe. That power is according to the working of the strength of His ability, which He energized in the Christ when He raised him from the dead and caused him to sit at His right side in the heavenly realm.
We are so highly favored that when Christ was made alive, we were made alive with him, and when he was raised up and God caused him to sit at His right side in the heavenly realm, He raised us up together and caused us to sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus so that in the coming ages He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
Dearly beloved, we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, and it is only by God’s grace that we have certainly been saved through believing in Christ.
This salvation is not of ourselves. It is the gift of God; it is not of our works so that no one may boast. What do we have that we did not receive?
In the Lord Jesus Christ we have peace with God, and by believing in him we have access into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, dearly beloved; be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his ability.
The Apostle Paul said, "I do not frustrate the grace of God." "Frustrate" means "to set aside; to reject."
Do not reject the grace of God: for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ died in vain.
Jesus Christ fulfilled the law for our justness and the Father freely gives us all things with him, so do not reject His grace to you. We are who we are in Christ by the grace of God. Christ now lives in us!
Stand fast in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and rejoice that His grace is sufficient for us in every situation, in spite of our weaknesses.
