Go to Him
Dearly beloved of God, when I awoke this morning I thought of how good our Father is to us. I am overwhelmed with His goodness to us.
“I sought the LORD and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.” He has delivered me from everything that has made me afraid. When I am afraid I will trust in Him.
I have seen God our Father deliver by His almighty power time and time again. I have seen Him save the lost, heal the incurable, prosper the needy, deliver those possessed, make the infertile fertile, and raise the dead to life again. Impossibilities are His specialty.
I have seen Him deliver His people in the path of deadly hurricanes, instantaneously dissolve life threatening tornadoes, and dry up flood waters at the front door by the power of His Word.
I have seen Him deliver addicts plagued by addiction, give peace to tormented minds, and heal those in anguish. I have seen Him heal grief-stricken hearts that no other could console. Dearly beloved, He is the healer of broken lives.
Dearly beloved, we are under His protection and care. What is too hard for Him? He is the Almighty God, the One True and Living God; He is God our Father, and He supplies our every need because He loves us. Go to Him.
God our Father is our sufficiency in all things, all the time. We need no other. He says that we are His dearly beloved children, and we are highly favored in His sight. Go to Him in time of need; His throne of grace is open to us.
We have the Father's love, grace, and mercy. Think of that! The Living God says He loves us, and we have His grace and mercy! It is the good pleasure of His will to be God our Father, and demonstrate His goodness to us. Go to Him dearly beloved.
He says He will not withhold anything good from us. Those that seek Him will not lack any good thing: that is His Word. Go to Him.
His eyes are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto our cry. We cry to Him, He hears, and delivers us out of all our troubles. He is near and He saves the broken hearted and bruised. Go to Him.
Our afflictions may be many, dearly beloved, but the LORD God our Father delivers us out of them all. He is able, willing, and faithful to care for us as we cast our cares upon Him. Go to Him.
He has sent forth His angels as ministering spirits to minister to us who are about to inherit salvation. The angel of the LORD encamps round about them that reverence Him, and delivers them.
O taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man that trusts Him.
This is our God and this is His living Word; I have experienced it firsthand.
I will bless the LORD at all times, and His praise will continually be in my mouth. Magnify the LORD with me, and let us praise His name together, dearly beloved.
O how great is God’s goodness, which He has laid up for them that reverence Him, which He has performed for them that put their trust in Him.
O LORD our God, our times are in Your hand: deliver us from the hand of the adversary and from those who pursue our harm. In the secrecy of Your presence You will hide us from men’s plots. You will cover us in a booth from the strife caused by men’s lies.
O love the LORD all you His saints for the LORD preserves the faithful. Be of good courage; He will strengthen your heart, all you that hope in Him. As He has promised, so shall He do it. Go to Him, dearly beloved.
