Our New Reality
Dearly beloved of God, fear is our enemy. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. If we seek Him, He will hear us, and deliver us from the things that make us afraid; He is with us and for us; He has not left us alone.
Doubts and worries are the tempter’s tools used to erode our confidence in God, and who He created us to be in Christ. They are imposters, not reality. Don’t let them ramble through your mind and drag you down in fear and torment you. If you will hold these imposters up to the light of God’s Word you will see them for what they are.
If we are to live victoriously we must draw near to God our Father with a true heart having the absolute certainty of believing that we are new creations, created in Christ Jesus. This is the only way to be radiant and full of joy in this evil world.
What are you looking at, dearly beloved?
If you want to be miserable look at your flesh; your past sins, your short comings, your unworthiness, inability, weaknesses, and failures. Your flesh will always be a stumbling block; remember, it is but dust.
There is no good thing in your flesh, but you are no longer in the flesh if so be the spirit from God dwells in you. You are a new creation in Christ.
You are no longer of this world; you are now a child of the Living God, and you have entered the kingdom of His beloved Son. You are dearly beloved by the Father, and highly favored in His sight.
How highly favored are you in His sight? You have Christ in you, the hope of glory, and your Heavenly Father has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. You are quite privileged!
In Christ, you stand in the presence of God without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. In His sight, you are the righteousness of God in Christ, and He will freely give you all things with him.
In Christ, you are holy and without blame in His sight. You have access to Him by the spirit, and He exhorts us to use it boldly with confidence.
Stop trying to improve your flesh; it will only make you miserable. Instead, walk in the new reality of who God made you in Christ. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus. Think like it. Hold these truths in mind and you will have the peace of God, and be full of joy.
If you look at the things of the world they will only distract you and lead you away from God our Father. If we look at the arrogant fools of the world and the prosperity of the wicked it will make us feel as if we are losing our minds. They aren’t troubled like we are.
Don’t be envious of the ungodly; they only have death coming to them. Their end will be destruction, and ours will be glory, and that forever and ever. Walk in fellowship with the Father. He delights in our prayers, and there is no good thing He will withhold from us. He teaches us to profit and He adds no sorrow to it.
Not only do we have the sure and certain hope of acquiring the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ; we know that in everything God works for good with those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
If you want to be live with the peace of God in your heart and be full of joy set your affection on things above where Christ sits, not on the things on the earth.
God our Father is always present. We are His kids now, and He is both able and willing to watch over us and provide richly all things for our enjoyment. We are His kids! Practice the presence of God, dearly beloved. This is our reality now, dearly beloved.
