From Grace to Glory
Dearly beloved by God our Father, when a person’s heart turns to the Lord, the Lord freely gives them his spirit, and everything that comes with that sonship. The Lord is the spirit; it is Christ in you, the hope of glory!
From the moment we acknowledge Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead we are sealed with the gift of holy spirit for everlasting life.
The new birth spirit is the down payment of our inheritance until the day we physically enter the kingdom of God on the day of redemption; the day the Lord Jesus Christ will return to gather us up to him.
What do we have from the Lord that we did not receive? Everything we received from him is by the grace of God, not by our works.
What could we possibly do to make us worthy of these things? Absolutely nothing; all we can do is freely receive what He has made available to us in Christ.
We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus. We are new creations in Christ.
God our Father freely gives us all things with Christ; everything from the new birth to the future hope of glory is ours in Christ. In fact, He has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. In Christ we are completely filled with every spiritual blessing. He has shown us great grace in Christ!
In Christ we entered the new covenant of the spirit. The old covenant could not give spirit life; the new covenant does! God has sent forth the spirit of His Son into our hearts crying, “Abba, Father.”
Dearly beloved, now we are the children of God, born of His spirit, and we have the hope of receiving the glory of God. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory!
Now God’s spirit bears witness to our spirit that we are the children of God, and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. We have the proof that we have everlasting life whenever we manifest the holy spirit.
The things we endure today do not compare to the glory that shall be revealed unto us, dearly beloved. When we see the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be as he is!
It will take the Father the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ. Rejoice!
We have been born again by God’s abundant mercy unto a living hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for us. Through believing we are protected by the power of God unto a salvation ready to revealed in the last time.
Dearly beloved today we have the glory of the new birth, and when Christ returns to gather us up to him we will receive the glory for which we have long hoped. Faint not; he is coming!
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass [mirror] the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord.” II Corinthians 3:18
We have received the glory of the new birth reality, and when Christ returns for us we will then obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ; we will be changed into the same image, dearly beloved, even as by the spirit of the Lord.
Live with fullness of joy until he comes, dearly beloved; he is coming.
