The New Creation
Dearly beloved of God, it is God that works in you to will and to do of His good pleasure. That is the revelation truth of the scriptures concerning every one of God’s children.
You are no longer in the flesh, but you are in the spirit. That is God’s perspective.
When you confessed the Lord Jesus and believed that God raised him from the dead you were saved, born again of God’s spirit. At that moment God became your Father, He gave you the gift of His spirit, and forgave you of your sins.
From that moment He has been willing to work in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Believe it dearly beloved, and walk in that reality.
If a person is not born of God’s spirit, he is not of God, but since Christ is in you by the spirit, the old man is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of God’s justness.
The spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you now, and He that raised Christ from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies by His spirit that dwells in you! WOW!
We are no longer indebted to the old man, to the old man nature we walked by before we were born again, there is no good thing in him. We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus; we are a new creation!
If we were to live according to the flesh we would just die, but if we walk in the reality of the new man, the man born of the spirit of God, we will live now and in the ages to come.
Whoever is led by the spirit that is from God is a son of God. Now God is our Father and we are His children; He gave us the spirit of sonship whereby we cry unto Him, Abba, Father.
God’s spirit bears witness with our inner being that we are His children, and if children we are His heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ if so be that we suffer together, we shall also be glorified together with him as heirs!
The light afflictions of today are only momentary, and they work for us a far more exceeding and eternal heavy weight of glory. Dearly beloved, the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed to us!
As Jesus Christ justified us before God, he will return and gather us up to him in the air, and take us home to our Father. The glorious liberty of the sons of God lay before us, dearly beloved!
When the Lord gathers us together up to him in the air, the Lord will transform our humiliated bodies to be like his glorious body, but that is just the beginning of the exceeding riches of our Father’s grace that He will show us in Christ; it will take Him the ages to come to show us all of His loving kindness and tender mercies in Christ.
Rejoice, dearly beloved of God. Our Father works in us today by the new birth spirit, and we have all the rights and privileges of sons of God. Walk as the son of God you are.
We will have glorious new bodies like Christ’s when he returns to deliver us from this evil world, or even from death if it overtakes us before he comes.
Rejoice and live with thanksgiving in your hearts for His goodness to us. He provided us with access to Him and He encourages us to come freely and speak to Him with confidence. He works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure, beloved.
As surely as He called you in Christ, He justified you in Christ, and as surely as He justified you in Christ, you will be glorified when he comes. Never doubt it!
The glory will begin with his coming for you in the air, but that is only the beginning – the glory will never end! Rejoice and walk with Him, dearly beloved!
You are God’s dwelling place by the spirit. Christ has already done the hard work to accomplish this reality. We simply walk as the new creations we are in him.
