Independence Day
Dearly beloved of God, today is the day we celebrate our independence as a nation. There was a revolution fought to gain it, and it cost many their lives.
Jesus Christ gave his life to secure our independence from the adversary, the “so-called” god of this world. This liberty is far greater than any earthly freedom.
Before Jesus Christ gave his life for us we came under the authority of the prince of darkness, but no longer! Our Father delivered us from the authority of darkness, and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.
When we were born-again of God’s spirit, we entered the kingdom of God. Our entrance was by the new birth. That birth gave us a change in position.

We were “in Adam,” and we came under the reign of sin and death. Now we are “in Christ” and now grace reigns through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Christ freed us with freedom, therefore we ought to stand fast in that freedom. Christ made the reality of the new birth available to us. Where the spirit from the Lord is there is liberty.
To stand fast in that liberty it is to believe it, utilize it, claim it, operate it, walk in it. We are to stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ made us free.
There is coming a day that we will actually receive the physical transfer into the kingdom of God’s beloved Son.
This transfer will take place on the Day of Redemption, the day when both the living and the dead in Christ will be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and from that day forward we will forever be with the Lord. Rejoice!
The gathering together of the Church will be the final event in this administration of the grace of God.
At the moment of the gathering together of the saints in the air, a new administration will begin.
When the time comes in the next administration everything in Christ without exception shall be made new in the heavens and on the whole earth. In that administration, we have an established inheritance having been set apart by the good pleasure of God's will. Rejoice!
In Christ, God chose us for His inheritance. The Lord’s portion is His people.
When Christ returns for us we will receive our inheritance in Christ, and the Father will acquire His inheritance in His people.
Dearly beloved, honor God for what He did for us in Christ Jesus so gloriously. In Christ we were made whole spiritually and we were sealed with the holy spirit of promise unto the praise of His glory. Stand fast in the liberty.
God has given us the earnest, the down payment of our inheritance. The earnest payment is the gift of holy spirit.
The redemption of the purchased possession will take place when Christ returns for us, and it will be unto the praise of His glory, to the end that God is glorified.
Today we are to stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free: he has freed us with freedom, but there is greater liberty coming when Christ returns.
Even the creation will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God!
When Christ comes to redeem God’s children from death and the disappointing misery of this evil world we will no longer hope for deliverance – we will enjoy the reality firsthand having glorious bodies like Christ’s glorious body.
The current state of affairs in this world may be dark and give us cause to groan within ourselves, but we have God’s assurance that our hope of glory is real every time we speak in tongues: that is the proof. God's spirit witnesses to our inner being that we are the children of God; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ.
We can utilize the spirit of God until the day we realize the reality of our hope and we are delivered from the course of this world.
The spirit gives us eternal life, it is the basis of our sonship, and it bears witness to our inner being that we are the children of God. The spirit will lead us, it is the means of our intimate relationship with our Father, and it is a foretaste and pledge of the realization of our future hope of glory.
We are the sons of God today. To the end we walk as believing sons, obedient sons that live unto the praise of His glory, we will walk in liberty.
Liberty is never free. Jesus Christ gave his life for our freedom. Thank God for his sacrifice.
May we live unto the praise of His glory who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in Christ.
It will take our Father the ages to come to show us the exceeding riches of His grace in His loving kindness and tender mercies toward us through Christ Jesus. Until then, stand in the liberty, dearly beloved.
