We Are Truly Blessed
Dearly beloved and highly favored by the Father, you are God’s dear child, the object of His affection.
As parents we go to great lengths when we have children; we should realize the great lengths our Heavenly Father took to demonstrate His great love for us.
In love, He determined beforehand for us to have sonship to Himself through Jesus Christ in accordance with the good pleasure of His will. As Jesus Christ was His beloved firstborn, we are dearly beloved by the Father also.
He planned, prepared, willed, and desired to bless us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. He went to extraordinary lengths to prepare the blessings we have today as well as the ones we will enjoy throughout eternity.
The Father called us in accordance with His purpose, He chose us in Christ, and those that He foreknew, He determined beforehand that we would be conformed to the image of His Son, so that he [Jesus Christ] might be the firstborn among many brothers. Not only that, the Father will freely give us all things with Christ. Now we are heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. In Christ we have a glorious inheritance that will not fade away. It is reserved for us in the heavenlies.
The Father determined that every one of His children would be justified and glorified with the Christ. In Christ we are holy and without blame before Him. He sanctified us when we were born of His spirit, and He sealed us with that holy spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the day of redemption, unto the praise of His glory.
What a hope of His calling we have. What riches of glory pertain to His inheritance in the saints. What exceeding great power He exerted to resurrect the Christ from the dead and seat him at His right hand, and He exerts the same exceeding great power to raise us up and seat us in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus.
The new birth spirit is power from on high, and when He sends Christ to raise the dead in Christ and transform us to have glorious bodies like his glorious body, Christ Jesus will exercise the exceeding great power the Father has authorized him to exert to accomplish the good pleasure of His will.
It will take the Father the ages to come to demonstrate the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus! Rejoice forevermore!
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love Him!
How blessed are we? In Christ we are blessed with every spiritual blessing. What power did God exert to give these blessings to us? He exerted His exceeding great power to give us every one of these blessings. What kind of blessings are they? They are spiritual blessings. What realm do they concern? The heavenly realm; the realm in which He exists. How long will we enjoy these blessings? Throughout the ages to come.
Why did He bless us? Because of His great love for us; no other reason. Yes, I would say we are dearly beloved and highly favored by our Heavenly Father, wouldn’t you?
Cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you, dearly beloved. Go to Him in your time of need; He promises to hear your every prayer and supply your every need in the Christ. You are His dearly beloved and you are highly favored in His sight; believe it.
