Is There Any Justice?

Dearly beloved of God, we are hit by attack after attack by the adversary, but remember, his prime target is God. He wants to hurt you to hurt God.

The old serpent operates the same today as he did in Genesis 3; he goes after the integrity of God’s Word so that people will not believe what God says.

Once he convinces a person that God’s Word is not important enough to stand on it, they are left open for whatever he throws at them.

Jesus Christ said, "It is written..." when the adversary tempted him. The Word of God was important to him when the adversary attacked him. The devil had to flee when he stood on God's Word.

He will use character assassination to keep people from listening to those who speak for the One True God. He will use guilt by accusation, and put them on trial by every media available to him. He will try to isolate you from other of God’s people. He has to sell his lies to the world through words that slander and demean. He uses words the same as God reveals Himself by His words.

It is always a battle between the truth of God and the lie of the adversary. The question is, who will you believe?

God reveals His standard for justice, or righteousness, in His Word; it is not the standard the prince of this world uses.

God judges without respect of persons. He judges with justice and equity, and with a sense of fairness. His judgment is just.

He determined that He would judge people by Jesus Christ’s accomplishments. He made atonement for mankind. The only thing a person must do is believe in him and they receive what he accomplished for them.

Jesus Christ was the substitute that paid the price for man’s sin, guilt, and condemnation. He was the offering of God that was offered in the place of the guilty sinner.

God’s just servant bore the sins of the world. The just one was the offering of God for the atonement of the sins of the unjust so that they might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Jesus Christ was the atonement for anyone who confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead. He justified us from sin once and forever. Jesus Christ is the standard by which He justifies the sinner.

“Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man [Jesus Christ] is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: and by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.” Acts 13:38, 39

All a person has to do is believe on him and he is justified from all things.

If there had been a law which could have given spirit life, then righteousness would have been by the law, but it could not give life. Jesus Christ is the end of the law for God’s justice, dearly beloved. He sent the promise of the Father which was spirit life, eternal life.

Now we are justified by the grace of God by believing on Jesus Christ and what he accomplished as he stood in your place as the sacrifice for sins. Now the just live by believing.

The adversary uses every tool in his tool belt to keep you from believing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ; that in Christ you stand before God without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. It was God’s idea that Christ would present you to Him this way.

Do not be deceived to think otherwise, dearly beloved. Do not listen to his evil words. Take God’s Word for it, not the adversary’s. You are who God says you are, and you stand before Him in Christ, clothed with his righteousness.

God demonstrated His justice to mankind in the Christ. Now you are the justified ones in the Christ because you believed in him. Rejoice forevermore!

Live like you stand in the presence of God; you do. His ears are open to your prayers. He will never, ever leave you or forsake you; you are His dearly beloved and highly favored child. God and the Lord Jesus Christ stand with you always; you are justified in the Christ.
