Three Heavens and Three Earths
Dearly beloved of God, the Word of God speaks of three heavens and three earths.
“Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” II Peter 3:6 and 7
The first heavens and earth were the ones spoken of in Genesis 1: 1 and 2. Something cataclysmic took place and the earth became without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.” We are told here in II Peter that “the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.”
“The heavens and earth which are now,” are the second heavens and earth. They are “kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”
The Green New Deal, nor the Paris Treaty, nor anything else will save the ungodly from this. The world will undergo God’s just judgment. I don’t think 90 trillion dollars to get rid of their carbon footprint will save them from the wrath to come, nor from the day of judgment spoken of in II Peter.
If you want to read about real climate change, read the records in God’s Word concerning the Lord’s Day. In that day, a great earthquake will shake the earth. The sun will become black like the sackcloth of hair, and the moon will become as blood. The heavens will be shaken, and the stars will fall upon the earth and every mountain and island will be moved out of their places. The earth will reel out of its orbit like a chased roe and a sheep that cannot be taken up, and so much more.
Thank God that the Lord Jesus Christ saved us from the wrath to come, dearly beloved! We will not be on the earth when these scenes of judgment take place. As long as we are on the earth things will continue just as they are; don't be seduced to believe otherwise.
After these things occur, the Lord Jesus Christ will come to the earth with his army from heaven and reign as King of kings and Lord of lords for 1000 years.
Satan will be bound during the Lord's reign and then after the 1000 years has ended, he will be loosed for a little time and he deceives the nations once more. They will come against the Beloved City and fire falls from heaven and devours them. The Great White Throne judgment and the second resurrection follows. This heaven and earth will pass away.
“Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.”
II Peter 3:13
After this heaven and earth, God will make all things new again in a new heaven and a new earth. This will be the third heaven and third earth. Revelation 21 and 22 reveals more to us about it.
Today the creation groans and travails as a mother does in childbirth, but rejoice dearly beloved, we according to His promise look for new heavens and a new earth, in which God’s justice dwells.
Romans 8:16-25:
16⌄ The spirit itself bears witness with our own spirit that we are children of God,
17⌄ and since we are children, then we are heirs also: first of all heirs of God and secondly joint heirs with Christ, so that if we do suffer together, we shall also be glorified together as heirs.
18⌄ (Therefore, I take into account that the sufferings of the present time are not comparable with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
19⌄ In fact, the eager expectation of the creation waits for the revelation of the sons of God,
20⌄ because the creation was subjected to futility, not voluntarily but by Him Who subjected it upon a hope
21⌄ that the creation itself should also be freed from the bondage of corruption to the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
22⌄ Thus we know that all the creation groans together and travails together [as in childbirth] until now.
23⌄ Not only does it, but even we ourselves who have the first fruit, which is the spirit, groan within ourselves, waiting for [the inheritance of] sonship, that is, the redemption of our body.
24⌄ In fact, we were saved [delivered] unto hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. Why would anyone hope for that which he sees?

Rejoice forevermore, dearly beloved, Christ Jesus our Lord is coming!
First we will partake of our gathering together unto him in the air. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we that are alive will be changed to have glorious bodies like his glorious body, and we will be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air, and we will be with the Lord forever! Comfort one another with these words, dearly beloved.
God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep we should live together with him.
Our departure from this evil world will take place before the man of sin is revealed on earth and the wrath of God is poured out on the earth in the Lord's Day.
After we have been gathered unto the Lord in the air, we will obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, not the wrath to come!
We look for the new heavens and new earth in which God's righteousness dwells. They will come after the Lord Jesus Christ reigns on earth for 1,000 years, he subdues all enemies, fulfills all the judgment committed unto him, and all that are in the graves come forth at his command, some to life and some to damnation. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. The Lord Jesus Christ will fulfill every word of God's Word and Will.
To God be the glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations forever and ever. Amen
It will take God the ages to come to show us the exceeding riches of His grace to us in Christ and He will show them to us with a Father's loving kindness and tender mercies forever and ever. Oh rejoice!
