Finding Fulfillment

Dearly beloved by God, people everywhere are looking for a sense of fulfillment; to know that their lives count for something more than to merely exist.

If you are looking for fulfillment by getting stuff, junk, and things you will be sadly disappointed. Gaining possessions will not bring you fulfillment. Fulfillment comes with the joy of giving yourself.

Those who hear the call of God in their lives most clearly are the ones that will be the most willing to give of themselves.

Beloved, why is the Dead Sea so dead? It has no outlet. If we are to live fulfilled lives, we will have to rise up to be givers.

When we give of ourselves, we will grow in our capacity to give. If we will lose our lives in the service of others we will find them. Fulfillment is the result of giving.

You ask, “What do I have to give?” You can give the words of salvation to the lost. You can give the Word of Life to those who hunger and thirst after righteousness.

You can give love and comfort to the broken hearted, forgiveness to those that sin against you, compassion to those in need.

You can be led by the spirit of God born within you and heal the sick, and minister peace to those who are troubled. You can pray in the spirit and with the understanding for the needs of others.

You can be ready and willing to give such as you have in answer to God’s call.

There is not one person around you that does not have a certain need: God will work in you to will and to do of His good pleasure to care for them. Be a heart specialist. Touch one person at a time with the touch of the Master’s hand. Give such as you have to give.

We only have one life to live, if we want to live a life of fulfillment we will have to give it to find it. There is no greater love than to give your life in service to God and His people.

Dearly beloved, be imitators of God as His beloved children; and walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.

Living with the love of God as you renew your mind to God’s Word and Will and giving to those in need is the way of fulfillment. The end of the commandment is love out of a clean heart, and of a good conscience, and believing without hypocrisy.

Freely you have received, freely give.
