World News or Good News

Dearly beloved and highly favored by our Father, have you watched the “world news” lately? It is just that… world news. They have no answers, no solutions, just carnal knowledge about the course of this world.

On the other hand, we have good news; very good news indeed. We have the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ and all that he has accomplished and will yet accomplish.

We woke up this morning as God’s saints, His sons and daughters, His dearly beloved, and highly favored in the beloved one, the Lord Jesus Christ.

How highly favored are we? We stand before the Father, in His presence, as holy and as blameless as the Lamb of God slain for us. We stand before Him in Christ Jesus our Lord and in his accomplishments: we are redeemed, saved, reconciled, justified, we have the remission of sins that are past, we are sanctified; we are the righteousness of God in Christ, and we will glorified together with him.

Forget the worldly news; it’s about the world, not us. We have good news from the heavenly realm. As citizens of the heavenly realm, we are seated there in Christ as members of his body.

Our Father has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm; wrap your mind around that for a while; it will transform you as you renew your mind to who you are in Christ.

Dearly beloved, we are the sons of God; yes we are! This is only the beginning of the glorious things to come that the Father has reserved for us.

Christ is coming to gather us together up unto him in the air; not only us, but the dead in Christ, too. We will be caught up together having new glorious bodies like our Lord’s. When we see him we will as he is!

But wait; that is just another step in eternity. It will take our Father the ages to come to show us the exceeding riches of His grace in loving kindness and with His tender mercies that He has reserved for us in Christ. How good is that news?!

Until then, we can be confident that He that has begun a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ and we see our Lord face to face.

Rejoice; we know the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His power toward us, and more!

Until our Lord returns to save us from this crooked and perverse kingdom, we are completely filled with the totality of the new birth package. That's not fake news; that's the truth!

We have power from on high to utilize whenever we need it. God works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure. As sons of God we have the power of attorney to do the works Jesus Christ did when he walked the earth, and greater!

We have sonship rights, and privileged access to the Father and His throne of grace in our times of need. He will never leave us, and never, never forsake us; we are His kids; He is only a prayer away.

Isn’t this the news we need to hear? We have good hope through grace. We have everything you are reading about because of God’s great grace to us in Christ. Rejoice!!

World news has fallen in the ratings; the good news of the gospel of God concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord is the only news I’m interested in. It is news worth listening to, considering, remembering, holding in mind; it is worth believing!

Dearly beloved, we are who God says we are in Christ. We have what He says we have, we can do what God says we can do, and we will be what He says we will be when Christ returns for us.

Rejoice and live with peace and joy in your heart until he comes. Live with thanksgiving in your heart for the goodness of God towards us in Christ.

Yes, it’s a new day to rejoice. It’s a day closer to the return of Christ. It’s another day to live as more than a conqueror through him that loved us.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his exerted strength for you, dearly beloved. We are His and He is ours. We have good news indeed!

Whosoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world: our believing! Who is he that overcomes the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God! What could be better news than that?

Rejoice and live overflowing with thanksgiving in your heart, dearly beloved, for the good news the Father gave us in Christ; it was all given to us by the good pleasure of His will and His great love for us. Indeed, rejoice forevermore!
