A Conscience of Unfeigned Believing

Dearly beloved of God, you may hear someone say, "That person does not have a conscience," but everyone has a conscience whether good or bad.

What is conscience? Conscience is the knowing within one’s self by the testimony of own’s own conduct. Conscience is the result of thinking patterns formed by a person’s habit patterns. You know their conscience by their fruit.

For example, if a person is a thief, stealing bothers him less and less with every successful theft. The person knows within himself from the testimony of his own conduct that he is a thief. Stealing does not bother their head. They have the conscience of a thief.

The Word of God speaks of people that "withdraw from the right way of believing, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron...." You are not going to get rid of a stain like that.

The Word of God says, “All things are clean to those who are clean, but to those who are stained and unbelieving, nothing is clean. Instead, both their mind and conscience are stained.” Titus 1:15 WT, Rev. Cummins

Everyone has a conscience - Christians, Muslims, politicians, students, globalists, socialists - everyone has a conscience, but not all consciences are the same. A person may have a clean conscience, or one that is stained.

For the believer in Christ, our conscience is to be shaped by believing the truth of God’s Word. We are to have a good, clean, or pure conscience, not one formed out of hypocrisy, but a conscience of unfeigned believing.

Since the Lord Jesus Christ has paid for our sins with his life, he has perfected forever those he sanctified.

We are not to have a conscience of sins after we are cleansed. The Word of God should be written in our hearts and our conscience fashioned by believing who we are in Christ and what he accomplished.

Now we can approach God with a true heart in absolute certainty of believing, having hearts sprinkled from a consciousness of evil and having the body bathed with pure water.

Dearly beloved, we are men and women of conscience. Have a pure conscience of unfeigned believing.
