The State of Our Union

Dearly beloved and highly favored by the Father, the state of our union with Christ is indeed strong!

In previous administrations we were in union with Adam in the sin he committed, and the sentence of condemnation pronounced against it.

When God created Adam, He created him in His image, which is spirit. God gave Adam a commandment and He told him that the day he disobeyed it that he would surely die. The day Adam disobeyed God’s commandment he did die; he lost the spirit life that God originally created in him.

The death that Adam originally brought upon mankind was first and foremost the loss of spirit life. The physical loss of body and soul life did not occur until much later.

All people since Adam have been born as natural men, by nature having only a body and soul life existence. All people came under the sentence that God pronounced against Adam’s sin which was death [See Romans 5:12-21 and Ephesians 2:1-5.]

Ephesians 2:5 speaks of this death as being “dead in sins.” Verses 1-5 vividly describes our former manner of life as natural men who were dead in sins and did not have spirit life

God sent His Son to save the world. Jesus Christ said that if we are to enter the kingdom of God we must be born again; born of His spirit.

To be saved you must confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. God gives you the gift of holy spirit, the new birth spirit by which you are sealed for eternal life. In Christ, you are now a child of God, you have entrance into the kingdom of His Beloved Son, and you have an inheritance that is reserved for you in the heavenly realm.

We are no longer in union with Adam and his condemnation; we are in union with Christ Jesus our Lord and we share in his accomplishments.

When Jesus Christ died, those in Christ died to the sin and condemnation of death that Adam brought upon us. We were buried with him in what his death accomplished; we were justified.

When he arose from the dead, those in Christ arose with him unto spirit life. Christ made us alive by giving us the new birth spirit, and now we can walk in this new spirit life.

When he ascended into the heavenlies and God seated him at his right hand, God raised those in Christ and seated us there in him as members of his body, the fullness of him, and He fills all of us in Christ with all things that he accomplished.

Christ was glorified, and when he returns to gather together those in Christ up to him, we will be glorified with him. Rejoice dearly beloved!

Now we are in union with Christ Jesus our Lord and we share in his accomplishments. God freely gives us all things with Christ. We stand before God in Christ Jesus and there is no more condemnation to those who are in Christ!

In Christ Jesus the Lord we have the hope of obtaining the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ; indeed, God called us to this very end.

What is the state of our union with Christ? It is indeed strong, dearly beloved! God, our Father has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm! We are completely, completely, completely, absolutely complete in Christ, and we rejoice in hope of receiving the glory of God.

The state of our union with Christ is indeed strong. Rejoice, and again I say rejoice! He is coming!
