Redeemed How I Love to Proclaim It
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ paid the price for our redemption, and we have been redeemed from the guilt and condemnation of sin. On the Day of Redemption he will redeem us from the presence of sin, this evil age, and from death itself.
Today we are sealed with the holy spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession we will receive on the Day of Redemption when he returns to gather us up to him.
Jesus Christ paid the price for our salvation, and when he comes to gather us together we will obtain that salvation in full.
God has delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His Beloved Son. Today we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace which He has lavished upon us; but the day is coming when Christ will physically transfer into his kingdom and we will no longer have the presence of sin.
Today it is “Christ in you, the hope of glory,” and when he returns we will obtain the reality for which we hope today; we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ sent the promise of the Father, the gift of holy spirit, so that we could be born again and enter the kingdom of God, and when he returns to gather us up to him we will physically enter the kingdom of God having glorious spiritual bodies like his glorious body.
Because of Jesus Christ’s accomplishments we are citizens of the heavenly realm today. God has made us sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus.
The day is coming that we will not only be represented there by Christ Jesus as members of his body, the Church; we will physically be present there and enjoy that citizenship and seating with him.
Today our citizenship is in heaven from whence we also look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who shall change our vile body, so that it is transfigured to be like his glorious body.
Jesus Christ has accomplished the payment for our redemption and salvation and he will accomplish the redemption of the purchased possession when he returns for us.
There are present realities Jesus Christ has accomplished, and there are future realities that he will yet accomplish.
God has put all things under his feet, and in the Lord’s Day he will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords until he has subdued all of them, and he has carried out all judgment that His Father has committed unto him. Then he will himself be subject unto God so that God may be all in all.
Jesus Christ has paid the price of redemption and salvation and the day is quickly approaching that we will obtain the inheritance. He will accomplish all the Father has given him to accomplish, dearly beloved.
Rejoice, Christ is God’s, and we are Christ’s, and all things are yours in Christ, today and forevermore! Oh redeemed, how I love to proclaim it!
