Stocking Stuffers
Dearly beloved of God, since it is Christmas, let’s talk about the gifts that were in our stockings.
God our Father has stuffed our stockings with every good and perfect gift! What a holiday! Not only does He only give good and perfect gifts, the gifts and callings of God are without repentance; there are no exchanges!
Check out these stocking stuffers! He has given us the gift of eternal life. It is just what I wanted; how about you? For by grace are we saved through believing, and that gift of salvation is not of ourselves; it is the gift of God. Oh You shouldn’t have; thank You so much Father!
He has given us the free gift of grace, the gift of His holy spirit. Oh, it fits perfectly! Now I am born of His spirit and have entered the kingdom of God. Thank You Father for your unspeakable gift! How did You know; it is just what I needed!
I always wanted a gift that could be manifested all year long, and that continually profits me. It edifies us and allows us to speak freely with the Father. It gives us the proof that we are children of God, and if children, heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ!
It edifies and comforts and exhorts us to more worthy endeavors. It provides us with guidance, and it ministers deliverance by His mighty power. It even enables us to minister the gifts of healings as He leads and guides us. He is just the best Father!
Oh, look what else is in here. He has given every one of us divine favor according to the measure of the gift of Christ! I love it! When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men; oh WOW!
And he that ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the grave. He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens so that he might fill all things.
He gave some apostles to bring us new light, and some prophets to speak for Him, and some pastors to bind up the wounds of his dearly beloved brethren, and some teachers to make his Father’s Will known to the Church, and some evangelists to inspire believing in the members of his body and to make known the gospel message.
Oh Father, You are so wonderful; what wonderful gifts! Thank You for the gifts of Your grace! You have certainly abounded unto us!
Boy oh boy, do you know how to stuff a stocking or what?!
In Christ, we have certainly been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. What a Christmas this is, dearly beloved!
Our Father has freely given us all things with His Son, not because we earned them, or deserved them, or because we were so good, but because of His great love for us. He has certainly spoiled us!
What more could we ask for, dearly beloved? It is good to the child of the King, especially at Christmas!
