Our Song in the Night
Dearly beloved of God, I long for the day that our Lord and Savior returns to save and redeem us. I know we are in the holiday season, but it has little to offer compared to what God our Father has to offer us in the face of our troubles.
Some saints are dealing with sickness and some have fallen asleep. Others are struggling with family loss and loneliness, and others are grappling with financial concerns. The holidays seem to intensify the emotions of the human condition. Life is fragile.
Yesterday I had several calls from saints asking me to pray, and to minister healing to them. My heart goes out to those in need, but the Father’s loving kindness and tender mercies far, far exceeds mine. He is renowned for His great love for us, His kindness, and great grace, and mercy towards His dearly beloved children. He is the God of love, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. He is the LORD that heals us.
God our Father is able and willing to do what He has openly promised in His Word. He is willing to do these things because of His great love for us.
God our Father is THE Deliverer. The greater the odds against us, the greater we see His almighty delivering power manifested in our lives. What is too hard for Him? The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet!
He has not spoken in secret, or in a dark place of the earth. Has He spoken and shall He not make it good? He is true and faithful; He will do what He has promised to do!
The power of God stands behind every promise that has come out of His mouth. He is faithful that promised, dearly beloved. With everlasting kindness He will have mercy upon us. He has made an everlasting covenant with us in Christ. In Christ, all of His promises are yea and amen.
He is the Lord God Almighty our Father! He is present to deliver us in our times of trouble. He is the cure for our sicknesses. He is the deliverance from our troubles. He is the healer of broken hearts.
Whether He protects us with chariots of fire, or He stretches forth His hand to heal us, or He makes a way for us where there is no way, or He gives us peace that the world does not know, or He sends His Son to gather us together up to meet him in the air, He is our Delivering God.
He healed every one of His people in the Passover; He will not withhold healing from you; you were healed by the beatings the Lord Jesus endured for you.
He made a path through the sea for Israel; He made a way where there was no way; He will provide a way for you, dearly beloved.
He fed them with manna from heaven, and gave them water out of the rock to drink; He is your sufficiency in all things, dearly beloved.
God raised His Son Jesus Christ our Lord out from dead. He is the only one to be raised and live forever thus far. You can be confident that He will deliver you from the clutches of death, and that you will obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
What is too hard for Him? No disease is incurable for Him. We will never face an enemy the all-powerful One cannot overcome.
He sent His Son so that we could have a more abundant life. It was the good pleasure of His Will to send him for us. The goodness of God leads us to a change of heart. Turn to Him in your time of need; He will deliver you.
He will not withhold any good thing from us, dearly beloved. He freely gives us all things with His beloved Son. It is the good pleasure of His Will to freely give us all things with Christ.
The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, “Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand.”
You can trust Him to do what He has promised to do whether it is concerns salvation, healing, or deliverance in your time of trouble.
Jesus Christ made His Father known by his words and by his works; he proved that the Father is able and willing to do as He promised.
Dearly beloved, God our Father will give you a song in the night; He will give you gladness of heart, and the joy of deliverance. Fear not! He is our help.
Go to Him with your whole heart; He will deliver you as He has promised, dearly beloved; He is faithful that promised. He has told us the outcome from the beginning. Be confident of His willingness to deliver you because of His great love for you. He is faithful that promised. Happy holidays!
