The Victory is Ours
Dearly beloved of God, we are the children of God and He has our backs. He is our shield and buckler; both our offense and our defense. He is our Father. We can cast our cares on Him because He cares for us.
“Fear not” is His Word to us! We wrestle against spiritual wickedness from on high with the power from on high God empowered us with in the new birth. Put on the whole armor of God, dearly beloved, and stand!
Stand having the loins of your mind and heart girded with the truth of God’s Word.
Put on the breastplate of righteousness. Arm yourself with who you are in Christ. You stand before God clothed in Christ’s righteousness without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation!
Believe God’s revelation of who you are in Christ, dearly beloved. This is vital if we are to wrestle with the adversary and his minions successfully. He does not want you to believe who you are in Christ.
Shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace and run to serve the Father. We serve with peace He fights for us. Share this good news with everyone else. We have peace with God and His Son; peace that the world does not have. We have peace regardless on the fight going on around us because our God is for us, dearly beloved.
Above all take the shield of the right way of believing, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the wicked one.
Believing that Jesus is the Son of God makes us those who overcome the world. Whosoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our believing in Him.
We walk by believing, believing God at His Word. We have trust and confidence in what God says, what He did in Christ, and what He constantly does to defend us, support us, and supply our every need. He will never leave us or forsake us: believe God and stand, beloved.
Take the head covering of salvation, which is deliverance in the spiritual fight, and wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Jesus Christ wielded God’s Word in the spiritual fight. His battle cry was “It is written!” He said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God.” He willingly gave his life as the Lamb of God because he believed that “the scripture cannot be broken.”
Believing God at His Word knows no defeat. Stand dearly beloved.
Pray always with every prayer and supplication in the spirit, watching in this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones.
Dearly beloved, put on the whole armor of God. Our arena of conflict is the battle of the senses versus revelation faith. Put on the mind of Christ and think in the same way as he thought.
Be strong in the Lord Jesus Christ and in his accomplishments for you; be strong in the exerted power of his might for you: he is lord of all in heaven and earth. He will subdue every enemy! Stand!
Stand! As we walk with the Father and His wonderful Son they will fight for us. The angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear Him, and delivers them. The LORD of hosts fights for us; we are under His banner!
Fear not; they that are with us are more than they that are with them. Elisha, a servant of God was surrounded with chariots of fire when his enemy came for him. We are sons of God. Do you think our resources are inferior to his?
God our Father will never leave or forsake us; He is for us, not against us. He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world, and in him that loved us we are more than conquerors. The victory that overcomes the world is ours, dearly beloved; even over death itself.
Stand; the battle is the LORD’s.
Even while all hell breaks out around us we have the peace of God that passes all understanding. While the world is full of fear, worry, grief, panic, and confusion, we are full of joy and peace.
When the darkness is so prevalent around us we shine the brightest. We are the lights of the world, dearly beloved; let your light shine. Share the gospel of God concerning Christ with everyone you meet.
Stand dearly beloved of God; the victory is ours. Peace and grace be with you all always.
