Tell Me Why
Dearly beloved, why did God send His Son Jesus Christ? The answer is in the gospel of God concerning His Son Jesus Christ.
God sent His Son to save us, to redeem us, to make it possible to be born again of the spirit from God so that we could enter the kingdom of God, and become seated citizens in the heavenly realm.
God sent His Son to justify us, to forgive us, and to deliver us from the reign of sin and death. He sent him to deliver us from the wrath of God that will come against the ungodly.
God sent him to make us righteous, so that we stand before God without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. He sent him to sanctify us by setting us apart from the common lot by His spirit. He sent him to make us holy and without blame, and unimpeachable in His sight.
God sent His Son to make us His dearly beloved children, to give us access to Him as our Father by the spirit, to make us His sanctuary, His dwelling place by the spirit. Now we are members of God’s household, His dearly beloved children. We are members of the family of God. Rejoice!
God sent Jesus Christ to make us His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ, to glorify us with him. Dearly beloved, we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, and it will take the Father the ages to come to demonstrate the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
God sent Jesus Christ to accomplish what we could never accomplish for ourselves. What do we have that we did not receive? God freely gives us all things with His Son; all things in the current new birth reality, and all things in the future reality of glory.
In Christ dwells all the fulness of the divine nature bodily, and we are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power.
God sent His Son to enable us with power from on high so that everyone that believes on him can now do the works he did and greater because he has gone to the Father to make it possible. He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world. He made us more than conquerors through him that loved us, and nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
He sent him to fulfill all righteousness. God sent His Son to destroy the works of the devil, and he shall! He has delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son, and he will yet deliver us from death and/or this evil world when he comes.
God sent Jesus Christ to subdue every enemy and he shall! God sent him to accomplish all the good pleasure of His will and he shall, yes, every last jot and tittle of it.
God would have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth. He sent His Son to this end, but not everyone chooses to accept His offer of grace and love. Everyone that confesses Jesus as lord and believes that God raised him from the dead will be saved.
Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ, dearly beloved. The Word of God is the only place you will find the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ our Lord; it reveals why God sent His Son, Jesus Christ.
Tell me why God sent him? He sent him because of His great love for us.
