Are We Dearly Beloved of God?
Dearly beloved of God; stop and think about those words. Romans 1:7 reveals that we are the beloved of God, called saints or holy ones; God says so.
God previously said, “I will call them My people, which were not My people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, ‘Ye are not My people;’ there shall they be called the children of the Living God.” Hosea 1:9, 10
The Lord Jesus Christ did the work to make this prophecy a reality. Now we are God's beloved. We are now the children of the Living God.
“I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” “And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My sons and daughters,” saith the LORD Almighty.” II Corinthians 6:16 and 18
We find a similar statement In Jeremiah 31:33 referring to the new covenant. Hebrews 8:7-12 refers to this, also. The statement here refers to the new covenant of the spirit of which the Church partakes according to the revelation of the mystery of God concerning Christ.
The Church is the temple of God! We are His habitation, His dwelling place by the gift of holy spirit we received when we were born again. I would say that is dearly beloved, wouldn't you?
God our Father freely gives us all things with His beloved Son; that’s how dearly beloved we are to the Father! He blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus. If that is not dearly beloved I don’t know what is!
How dearly beloved are we? We are as he (Christ) is, and when we receive the inheritance in the future, we will be like him. That’s how dearly beloved we are! God called us into the sharing relationship we have with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
We share in everything Christ accomplished for us and is in us.
Jesus Christ paid the price to justify us, and in him we are justified. He paid the price of redemption, and in him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace, which He has abounded toward us. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Dearly beloved? I should say so!
How beloved are we? God determined beforehand that we would be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. In fact, we will be glorified with him.
Dearly beloved, we will acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, and it will take God our Father the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. That is dearly beloved indeed!
We are as dearly beloved as the only begotten Son of God himself. We are the elect of God, holy and beloved by Him.
As the children of God, we ought to love one another as Christ loved us, and gave himself for us. We are dearly beloved by the Father, and we should dearly love one another; we are brothers and sisters in the household of God.
You know your election of God, beloved, so stand as the son of God you are, and when the Lord Jesus Christ returns for us we will be glorified with him; we will be as he is.
Be filled with joy because of His great love for us. We are indeed His dearly beloved.
