Dearly Beloved 5/31/17 "One Day at a Time"

One Day at a Time

We must not be mentally distracted by the past, it is but a memory today; nor by the future, it does not yet exist. Neither of these impostors exist in the present; they only masquerade as though they are currently real.

Some people waste away in despair over what was, while others incubate fears and worries over what may never be. These impostors steal our lives from us.

Do not be mentally distracted by them; live in the land of the living – live now.

Concerning the past, the Apostle Paul said, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

Dearly Beloved 5/29/17 "Highly Favored and Beloved"

Highly Favored and Beloved

You are highly favored and dearly beloved by God your Father. He called you by His Word and sealed you by His spirit so that you could obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is coming!

Everything He did in Christ was to prepare you to live in His presence in the ages to come. In Christ, He blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm, made you holy and blameless, righteous and redeemed; His child. You are ever before Him and His watchful care. His ears are open to your prayers and it is His joy to supply your every need.

It was His great love that inspired Him to seal you with His spirit for the day of redemption.

He did it all for you dearly beloved. It was the good pleasure of the Father to bless you so in Christ and it will take Him the ages to come to display the exceeding riches of His grace to you in kindness, gentleness, and tenderness.

You are His highly favored one, dearly beloved and longed for; the object of His affection. Rejoice beloved because the purpose of the ages that He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord is at hand and it will take Him all of it to display His tender affection for you.

You are highly favored and dearly beloved by your Father; never doubt it. Live with His peace in your heart and in His love. You are everything to Him, beloved.

Dearly Beloved 5/27/17 "God's Goodness"

God’s Goodness

Dearly beloved, God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. The Lord Jesus went about doing good; he provided benefits that God wanted His people to have. He went about healing all that were oppressed or overpowered by the devil.

The Lord Jesus always did His Father’s will; He came to declare Him, to make Him known. We might say, like Father like Son.

God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is only good. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

Dearly Beloved 5/26/17 "The Sonship Spirit"

The Sonship Spirit

Dearly beloved, we are now the sons of God!

Romans 8: 15 Rotherham
For ye have not received a spirit of servitude [bondage], leading back into fear, but ye have received a spirit of sonship, whereby we are exclaiming - Abba! Oh Father!

The word “spirit” appears twice in this verse. “A spirit of servitude” or bondage spirit is set in contrast to “a spirit of sonship”. We received a sonship spirit which makes us God’s children; not a bondage spirit.

God is our Father now. Our relationship with Him is quite different than it was when we were in the flesh, dead in sin, ungodly and enemies of God.

Dearly Beloved 5/25/17 "It Cannot Be Broken"

It Cannot Be Broken

Dearly beloved, we need instruction regardless of our field of study. The Word of God instructs us in righteousness. The instruction of the Word of God teaches us about our standing before God in Christ, how He thinks about us; our access to Him; what is available to us; and how we can receive it; He teaches us who He is; He reveals our hope of salvation, and so much more.

Proverbs 29:18 Sanskrit
Where there is no knowledge of God the people wander aimlessly.

Unfortunately, this is the case for far too many today. However, with the knowledge of God’s Word anyone can learn about the Living God and how to walk with Him if they so desire.

All scripture is God-breathed; none of it is a product of man’s intellectual ability, or of his will. The scriptures are the Word of God and it is true and reliable.

Dearly Beloved 5/24/17 "Enabled Believers"

Enabled Believers

Dearly beloved of God, our Father blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm in Christ, every single one of them! None of us are lacking in a single one. We all have all of them in us. We are complete in Christ, filled to the full. We all are sealed with His promised holy spirit for the Day of Redemption, the day that Christ will return to acquire his purchased possession.

Until that day, He will strengthen you with might by means of His spirit in you. You can be confident that He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

We came from the factory with everything when we were born as human beings. We received all of our natural ability in the birth. If we are to grow up into competent adults we submit to education and training to bring that potential into manifestation.

Dearly Beloved 5/23/17 "Treasures Galore"

Treasures Galore

Dearly beloved, the extraordinary revelation concerning what God purposed “in Christ Jesus our lord” is the climax, the summit, the pinnacle of revelation to the Church. The purpose of the ages turns on Christ Jesus our Lord and his accomplishments.

This administration of God’s dealings with the Church began on the Feast of Pentecost after Jesus Christ’s death, resurrection, ascension and seating in the heavenlies. His giving of the gift of holy spirit began this administration. His removal of the Church from the earth, both the living and the dead in Christ, will be the concluding event to it.

This administration begins with the riches of the grace of God and ends in riches of glory for all who confess Jesus as their lord and believe that God raised him from the dead. From that moment, God sees them in Christ as members of his body and fills all of them with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies. The members of this body are joint-heirs with Christ and fully share with him in the accomplishments of his death, burial, quickening, raising, seating and glorification.

Dearly Beloved 5/22/17 "Why Did He Bless Us So?"

Why Did He Bless Us So?

Dearly beloved, God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. How did He bless us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies? He did it in Christ.

In the fullness of times administration, God will head up all things in heaven and earth under one head; Christ.

Ephesians 1:19 and 20
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us–ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Our Father wants us to know the exceeding greatness of His power to us. It is the power that He exerted to raise His Son from the dead and caused him to sit at His right side in the heavenly realm.

Ephesians 2:5 AV
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

How did God make us alive when we were dead in sins? He did it together with Christ. He made us alive together with Christ. The same spirit that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead is born within us, beloved!

Ephesians 2:6 AV
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

God raised Christ from the dead and seated him at His right side in the heavenlies by the working of His mighty power and He raised us up and seated us together with him in the heavenlies by the exceeding greatness of His power.

Ephesians 2:10 AV
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto [epi: upon, on the basis of] good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

God created us in Christ Jesus. We are a new creation; a new man. We are His handiwork. God quickened us together with him and raised us up together with him and made us sit with him in the heavenlies. We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his good works. Now we can walk in his wonderful accomplishments.

Dearly Beloved 5/20/17 "Every Spiritual Blessing"

Every Spiritual Blessing

You are dearly beloved by the Father. He called you by the good pleasure of His will and in Christ He seated you before Him in the heavenly realm as holy and blameless, redeemed and forgave you by the riches of His grace. He made you His beloved children, gave you the earnest of His spirit and sealed you with it for the day of redemption.

You are His child, highly favored; shown rich mercy and exceeding great grace in Christ, all because of His great love for you.

None of this was by our works, but by Christ’s work. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus on the basis of his good works, which God prepared beforehand that therein we are to walk.

Dearly Beloved 5/19/17 "My Word Is True and Faithful"

My Word Is True and Faithful

Dearly beloved, the prophecy of the scripture – the declared Word of God – is even “more sure”, more certain than the experience that Peter, James, and John had as eyewitnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ’s majesty when he was transfigured before them on the holy mount and they heard God say, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased”.

To have been with the Lord Jesus and to see and hear what they experienced firsthand was a phenomenal experience, but, the revelation of the Scripture is “more sure”, more certain, than any spiritual experience we could ever possibly have. The Lord Jesus Christ will fulfill every last word of it. This heaven and earth will pass away, but His Word will not.

Dearly Beloved 5/18/17 "Your Worth"

Your Worth

Dearly beloved, you are not a castaway; you are a child of the Living God and a member in particular of the body of Christ.

Families, spouses, friends, cliques, parties, neighborhoods, companies, governments, religious groups, etc. may cast you to the side, but nothing can pry you out of the Father’s hand. The world may spread the lie that you are not worth much, but you are worth all of them put together to your Heavenly Father.

He sent His Son for us and he gave his life for us; we are worth everything to Him.

Dearly Beloved 5/17/17 "A Mountain Top Experience"

A Mountain Top Experience

Dearly beloved, you are in Christ! Once you understand this reality, you have hit the mountain top spiritually.

In the Old Testament, Israel’s sphere of blessings pertained to the physical realm. God reveals in Ephesians, that He has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.

God wants those of us who believe, to know the exceeding greatness of His power. That power is according to the working of the strength of His ability, which He energized in the Christ when He raised him from the dead and caused him to sit at His right side in the heavenly realm.

That exceeding great power is the same power that He exerted to make us alive with Christ, raise us and seat us in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus. God seated us in the same realm as He seated the Christ. We are seated there in him. We are seated there by his accomplishments.

We are seated there before the Father, in His sight as holy and without blame. We are seated before Him in love, in His beloved Son. We are seated there in rest, and that seating carries Christ's authority and power.

Once you realize the extent that God blessed us in Christ, exercising it is not a problem. We are to be strong in the Lord and in the exerted strength of his ability for us.

Dearly Beloved 5/16/17 "What Pleases God?"

What Pleases God?

Dearly beloved, thanks be to God who gives us the victory through the Lord Jesus Christ. God gives us the victory, we do not earn it. It is ours through the Lord Jesus Christ; he earned it. The victory was the purpose of the ages that our Father purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our part is to believe God’s revelation concerning Christ. Our Father calls us believers, believing ones; those who consistently believe what He says - faithful. We live by believing, not by sight.

It is impossible to please Him without believing; He that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Believing comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Isaiah asked, “Lord, who hath believed our report?” Believing pleases God. Those who hear God’s Word and believe Him will not be disappointed in their expectation.

Dearly Beloved 5/15/17 "Comforting Words"

Comforting Words

Dearly beloved, our citizenship is in heaven from where we patiently look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

How do we wait for the hope of righteousness? We wait by walking in the complete reality of the sonship we have in Christ. God’s spirit witnesses to our inner being that we are His and He is ours. Each and every time we speak by the spirit of God, which is to speak in tongues, we have God’s witness to us that we are born of His spirit and that our hope in Christ is sure. When Christ appears, we will appear with him in glory. Until then, beloved, we are sealed with God’s spirit for the day of redemption.

Dearly Beloved 5/14/17 "All Sufficiency"

All Sufficiency

Who is our sufficiency, dearly beloved? Is it our family’s resources, or is it our job, or our credit score, or the government. or the stock market, or is it the world economy?

“God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” God is our source; our supplier. We can count on Him for our sufficiency.

How much Divine favor is He able to abound unto us? He said, “all grace”. Why does He make all His Divine favor abound unto us? So that we ALWAYS have ALL sufficiency in ALL things…so that we may abound to every good work.

He abounds to us with all His Divine favor so that we can abound to every good work. Our God is faithful and we can take Him at His Word; we can trust Him to keep up His end. He is reliable, beloved.

Our God says that He will supply our every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. That’s a pretty good resource to be able to count on, is it not? His ability to supply our every need surpasses ours. His resources are far, far greater than ours. His resources are not limited by our circumstances, economic forecasts, financial resources, current job forecasts, or world situations. He is our sufficiency.

God made His Word and Will clear. It is not a question of is He able or willing to supply, but will we choose to believe what He says? Do we choose to hide His Word in our heart? Do we choose to say what He says? Do we trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not to our own understanding? Do we acknowledge Him? If we do, He says He will direct our paths.

He gave us access to His throne of grace by His spirit so that we could obtain mercy and find grace to help in our time of need. Use it with confidence.

“This is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us; and if we know that He hear us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions we desired of Him.” We ought to have confidence in Him, beloved. We can count on Him; He is faithful that promised.

In athletics, when we follow our coach’s instruction, we expect to get the results of that coaching. We learn to rely on his words; his instruction. His instruction pays off when we apply it. God instructs us with His Word and it pays off when we put it into application. If we choose to argue with Him we will not get too far. When we apply His Word with believing we can expect the results He promises.

Don’t be double-minded; you know, you read one thing and then confess and believe something contrary. You will not get the results you are looking for this way. Who is our sufficiency? End of story; there we stand.

God is Who He says He is and we can count on Him to keep up His end. If we choose to believe what He says, we can expect the results He promises.

Beloved, He gave us over four thousand years’ worth of success stories in His Word, stories of people just like you who walked with Him. They believed Him and so can you.

He is able to make all His Divine favor abound to us so we can abound to every good work. It is His will that we ALWAYS have ALL sufficiency in ALL things! We can count on Him, beloved.

Dearly Beloved 5/13/17 "You Are Not Alone"

You Are Not Alone

Dearly beloved, do not be afraid to voice the promises of God. The pressure is not on you to perform them; it is on God. Our Father committed Himself to fulfill His Word. His promises and His power to perform them is indivisible.

Be bold; dare to speak the truth in love, to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, to minister to those in need by the power He gave you in the new birth. Walk out; walk with Him!

If you want to see the Living God at work, dare to stand on His Word, speak what He says is true, and walk in the reality you received in the new birth.

You are not alone! God is your Father, and His Son is your Lord. He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. You are born of God’s spirit; you have spirit of sonship; the spirit that raised Jesus from the dead born within you. God, your Father, enabled you by His spirit. He filled you to the full in Christ. You are complete in him. In Christ, He blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies. You are a member of the body of Christ, filled with all in all.

Dearly Beloved 5/12/17 "Our Delivering God"

Our Delivering God

Dearly beloved, I have been young and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or His seed begging bread. Our God will supply all our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. God’s goodness will follow us all the days of our lives. Our God is able to make all grace abound toward us, so that we always have all sufficiency in all things so that we may abound to every good work.

Our Father is good, beloved, not evil. He is light, not darkness. He reveals truth, not lies. He is love, not hate. He edifies, not accuses and blames. He comforts, not depresses and distresses. He is kind, not cruel. He delivers, not enslaves. He does not use us, He enables us. He is the God of peace, not strife. He is the God of the hope in Christ, not the god of death and destruction. He is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. He is the God of all grace and His mercy is great. He is the God of deliverance, not captivity. This God is our Father, beloved.

Almighty God is all powerful. Whether we are considering creation, salvation, answered prayer, His deliverance from incurable diseases, miracles, resurrection life, the revealing of His Word, or the laws of nature, God is the supernatural force behind all of them. They are all demonstrations of His supernatural power.

Dearly Beloved 5/11/17 "Children of God"

Children of God

Dearly beloved, “So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam [Jesus Christ] became a life–giving spirit.”

The Lord Jesus Christ not only made the spirit available once again, but, this time it was not given conditionally; it was by birth.

I Peter 1:23 AV
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

This birth involves seed like all other births; however, this birth is of “incorruptible” seed. The Holy Spirit places the emphasis on the word “incorruptible” by the figure of speech, ellipsis or omission. The seed involved with the natural birth is corruptible. It is mortal or subject to death. The birth of the spirit is incorruptible: it is eternal life!

The seed of God’s spirit makes us His children. The seed makes our relationship with God permanent because it is a birth. The Word of God calls it “the spirit of sonship”.

Dearly Beloved 5/10/17 "The Day Draws Near"

The Day Draws Near

Dearly beloved of the Lord, we are the citizens of heaven, not of this evil world. We may live here today, but we are not of this world. Our Father has better things in store for us.

II Thessalonians 2:14 AV
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

What was God’s purpose in calling us? He called us to obtain the glory of our lord Jesus Christ! This is our Father’s desire. All of His plans and purposes for the Church are to this end.

Philippians 3:20 and 21 AV
For our conversation [citizenship] is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Good Hope

Dearly beloved of God, I don’t know how anyone can live in this world without the hope we have in Christ. Thank God that THIS world is not our final home.

Thanks be to God, Who gave us the victory over the reign of sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, we should be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord!

Eternity lies before us. What a miracle it will be when Christ returns and raises the dead in Christ, and changes those who are still alive when he returns. All of us will have glorious bodies like Christ’s glorious body; no more sickness, sorrow, or death.

Dearly Beloved 5/7/17 "Highly Favored"

Highly Favored

Dearly beloved, you are highly favored in Gods eyes.. He has blessed you in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies! He chose you in Christ that you should be holy and without blame before Him. In Christ, your Father made you righteous before Him. In love, Christ redeemed you with his own blood and forgave you according to the riches of His grace.

The Father gave you sonship through Jesus Christ by the good pleasure of His will. You are born of His spirit; sealed for salvation and eternal life. He gave you access to Him by the spirit of sonship and He desires that we use it with boldness and confidence. Yes beloved, God, your Father, highly favored you in Christ.

You know, the only other person that was greeted as “highly favored” was Mary, when the angel Gabriel greeted her with the salutation that she was going to conceive by Divine conception and give birth to God’s only begotten Son. That puts you in pretty good company, doesn’t it?!

Dearly Beloved 5/6/17 "Two Sources of Wisdom"

Two Sources of Wisdom

Dearly beloved, how do we learn about the spiritual realm?

II Corinthians 2:12 and 13 AV
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but [words] which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual [words].

God made His spirit available to us so that He can communicate with us. His spirit reveals things that we cannot discover by our five senses alone. God teaches us about spiritual matters with spiritual words, words that He gave by revelation. He revealed His Word to men who He instructed to record it. They wrote as God directed them.

There are two kinds of wisdom mentioned in these verses: “man’s wisdom” and “spiritual” wisdom. These wisdoms have two very different sources.

Dearly Beloved 5/5/17 "A Two-way Street"

A Two-way Street

Dearly beloved, do you ever get lonely? Sometimes we miss one another’s warmth, tenderness, kindness, and the sweet times we have shared together, don’t we? Our Father feels that way about us, too. He longs to fully share all things with us.

Our tendency is to get all wrapped up in ourselves, and at times we forget that our Father loves us at least as much as we love Him. He longs for the day when it will be the time to send His Son for us. He will make all things new again and bring all that He purposed in Christ Jesus to its intended end, its full completion.

Do you remember the parable that people call the parable of the prodigal son? Both sons were out in left field somewhere, weren’t they? One was in “hog country” and the other one was so wrapped up in his anger and resentment -himself- that He forgot that all that His Father had was his to enjoy. Their Father loved them both; the parable teaches us about the forgiving Father, not their failings as sons.

Dearly Beloved 5/5/17 "You Are Loved"

You Are Loved

Dearly beloved of God, you are loved! God so loved you He gave His only begotten Son for you so that you could be delivered from the reign of sin and death. God, who is rich in mercy because of His great love for us, even when we were dead in sin, made us alive together with Christ, He raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly realm in Christ Jesus. He so loved us that He saved us by His grace! His great love is the foundation for His rich mercy and great grace to us in Christ. God is love.

The Lord Jesus, the Son of Man and the only begotten Son of God so loved you that he redeemed you with his own blood. He was the target of character association, he was wrongly accused, beaten beyond recognition, crucified for us, suffered and died in our stead; you can believe that he loved you. He gave his life for you. How much would you love someone to you give your life for them?

Dearly Beloved 5/3/17 "Equipped for Life"

Equipped for Life

I went to college in the ‘60s, dearly beloved, and I grew dissolutioned as I was taught contradictory information one class after another. I didn’t know what to believe any more. I was confused, discouraged, and lost. I just wanted to learn the truth; then one day someone spoke the Word of God to me. I was the last person you would have thought would believe the Word of God, but the truth changed my life.

Beloved, all scripture is God-breathed and it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, so that the man of God may be equipped, completely equipped for every good work. That’s the truth.

The Lord Jesus told the religious leaders of Israel that they erred because they did not know the scriptures, nor did they believe that God had the power to perform them. He told them that they made the Word of God of none effect through their tradition. He said that they rejected God’s Word with full knowledge and they replaced it with their own traditions. He said that they worshiped in vain because they taught for doctrines the commandments of men.

Dearly Beloved 5/2/17 "Lots of Redemption"

Lots of Redemption

Dearly beloved, the Lord Jesus paid for our redemption with his blood when he identified with us in our weakness, but the final part of our redemption will be with power when Christ returns to deliver us from either death or this evil world and our humiliated bodies will be transformed to be like his glorious body.

The first part of redemption was through Christ’s blood, and it accomplished the forgiveness of sins for us according to the riches of His grace. Beloved, that is definitely redemption from bondage.

There is another phase of redemption that is yet future. Since we believed In Christ, we were sealed with the promised holy spirit, which is the earnest [down payment or pledge] of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory. This will be the redemption of a possession, the body of Christ, which our Lord purchased with his life.

Dearly Beloved 5/2/17 "Hidden No Longer"

Hidden No Longer

Dearly beloved, our Father has allowed us to see things never before seen by either spirit or man. He has opened the eyes of our understanding and revealed that which before was hidden in Himself.

He has shown us things that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see and hear, but did not. Had the adversary and his minions known the mystery, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; but as it is written, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”

While others would not listen, or have eyes to see because the god of this world has blinded their minds so that they do not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

When you heard, you believed it, and God illuminated the eyes of your heart so you could see and understand His knowledge concerning the mystery of Christ. Such grace!

Dearly Beloved 5/1/17 "Long Awaited Kindness"

Long Awaited Kindness

Dearly beloved, what kind of reception will we have from God when we are gathered together into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air? From that moment throughout the ages to come it will be an exhibition of kindness to us from our Heavenly Father.

The Father’s intention in all He made us in Christ Jesus, even the purpose of the ages that He purposed in Christ Jesus, was to make it possible to exhibit the riches of His grace to us in kindness; such a demonstration of kindness that it surpasses our language to describe it or our ability to comprehend it today.

Ephesians does not discuss the event when Christ returns for us, but the demonstration of kindness that is the purpose for it. Beloved, we will be made manifest with him in glory. That is the purpose that God called us in Christ Jesus; to obtain his glory as joint-heirs.
