A Life of Thanksgiving
Dearly beloved of God, we have so much to be thankful for that God has done for us in Christ.
God so loved us that He gave His only begotten Son for us so that we could be saved.
Since we confessed Jesus as Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead, God saved us by His grace, His rich mercy, and His great love for us.
Now we are born again of the spirit from God and we have entered the kingdom of God. When Christ returns for us we will physically enter it.
We have the spirit of sonship which makes us the children of God.
God, our Father, blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. He freely gives us all things with His Son.
God now sees us “in Christ.” We stand before Him "in Christ," and we share in his accomplishments for our redemption and salvation.
Beloved, now we are the children of God!
We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus upon his good works so that we can walk therein.
God justified us freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ.
Now we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
By the Lord Jesus Christ we have access into this grace wherein we stand.
Through Christ we have access unto the Father by the spirit, and we are instructed to use that access with boldness and confidence.
Therefore, we can boldly draw near unto the throne of grace so that we may obtain mercy, and find grace for timely help.
This is the confidence that we have in God our Father, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.
We have nine manifestations of the spirit for godly profit.
We are the righteousness of God in Christ by believing, not by our works. Now we stand before God, our Father, without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. We will never again come into condemnation. Such grace!
We are holy and without blame before the Father.
In love He determined to make us His children by the good pleasure of His will.
He accepted us in the Beloved One, Christ, through Whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins by the riches of His grace which He abounded toward us.
He sanctified us in Christ by His spirit.
He sealed us with His holy spirit, which He gave us as the down payment of our future redemption and inheritance until the time Christ returns to fulfill it.
We even have the proof; the spirit from God witnesses to our inner being that we are His children, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ.
God made Christ the head of the Church, which is the body of Christ, and He filled every member with all in all of us.
We are complete in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We died with Christ.
We were buried with Christ.
We were raised with Christ.
We were made alive with Christ.
We were seated with Christ.
We will be glorified with Christ.
Our Father freely gives us all things with Christ!
Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord; not now, not ever!
Dearly beloved of God, God called us to His kingdom and glory. He called us to acquire the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Not even death can come stop us from acquiring his glory. When the Lord Jesus Christ returns to redeem those that he purchased with his life, we will be received up in glory, and glorified together with him.
It will take God, our Father, the coming ages to display the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Rejoice in hope of obtaining the glory of God. What began for us in grace will end in eternal glory. Rejoice!!
We can be thankful for so, so much. This list is only for starters; it is far from complete. Add to it, and live with thanksgiving in your heart for all you've been given.
