Dearly Beloved 02/28/22 "Lord Open My Eyes So I May See"

Lord Open My Eyes So I May See
Dearly beloved of God, we should be so thankful that God is now our Father. He is with us and for us, and we can practice the presence of God in every situation we face.
Elisha was a man of God, and a faithful prophet in Israel. II Kings 6 tells us about a time when the king of Syria was going to attack Israel, but God informed Elisha of the attack, and he warned the King of Israel.
“And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.” He delivered them time after time.

Dearly Beloved 02/27/22 "His Mercy Endures Forever"

His Mercy Endures Forever
Dearly beloved of God, Psalm 136 gives us great insight into God’s mercy. The Hebrew word for mercy is “chesed,” which means kindness, lovingkindness, grace.
Psalm 136:1-26
1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!
For His mercy endures forever.
3 Oh, give thanks to the LORD of lords!
For His mercy endures forever:

Dearly Beloved 02/26/22 "Two Realities"

Two Realities
Dearly beloved of God, what is reality? Reality is the quality or state of being real, of existing. We are faced with two realities: the reality that God reveals to us in His Word, and the reality of our circumstances.
Both of these realities exist, but only one of them will prevail in a situation.
Circumstances present our senses with false information that appears to be true.
Take Naaman for example. Naaman was the captain of the Syrian host, but he was a leper. The record is in II Kings 5.
Elisha heard that the king of Syria had sent a letter to the king of Israel and he asked him to recover Naaman of his leprosy.
Elisha told the king of Israel to send Naaman to him, “and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.”

Dearly Beloved 02/25/22 "He is Faithful that Promised"

He is Faithful that Promised
Dearly beloved of God, in the Old Testament we read of magnificent acts of deliverance that God performed in order to help His people.
God led Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground while Pharaoh, and the Egyptian army were destroyed by it.
God fed them with manna from heaven as they wandered in the wilderness for forty years, and He brought water from a rock; enough water to sustain over two and a half million people.
God led them into the Jordan River at flood stage, and it stood up on a heap from the city Adam beside Zaretan for some thirty miles down to the Dead Sea, and they walked through it on dry ground.

Dearly Beloved 02/24/22 "The God of the Living"

The God of the Living
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ had a conversation with the Sadducees who said that there is no resurrection from the dead.
Matthew 22:23-28
The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. And last of all, the woman died also. Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
The Sadducees mixed the law given to Moses with a hypothetical story in an effort to trap Jesus.

Dearly Beloved 02/23/22 "Who Needs Convincing?"

Who Needs Convincing?
Dearly beloved of God, we don’t have to convince God to perform what He has promised; we are the ones that must be convinced.
God has revealed His Will to us in His Word, and He is able and willing to perform it for anyone who believes Him.
God does not change. God is the same today as He was in the beginning. He is the same God that called Abraham, the same God that made His covenant with Israel. He became their God, and they became His people.
He sent the Lord Jesus Christ to give us an entrance into the kingdom of God by being born again of the spirit from God. The same God that made His covenant with them is God our Father, and we are His beloved children.
God does not need convincing, we do. He purposed the plan of the ages by the council of His Will, and He revealed what He accomplished in Christ according to the good pleasure of His Will. He had it put in writing so we can believe it.

Dearly Beloved 02/21/22 "No Other God Like Him"

No Other God Like Him
Dearly beloved of God, Hebrews 11 cites examples of those who heard what God said, and walked in light of what they heard from Him. Their walk was not conditioned by what they saw with their eyes, but by what they heard from God.
They are cited because they listened to God and believed what He said.
Their lives were not noteworthy because of the magic of their believing. They were mentioned because they believed what they heard from God. God was the prime mover, not them. The tail did not wag the dog; they believed what they heard from God.
Without believing what God says it is impossible to please Him.
Believing is to have trust and confidence in the information we hear from God. The right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God. God instructs us to walk with Him by believing Him at His Word, not by sight.

Dearly Beloved 02/20/22 "He is the Same God"

He is the Same God
Dearly beloved of God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth is the same God that is with us and for us today. He is present to deliver us, and He is able and willing to do so.
Romans 1:20 NIV
For since the beginning of the world God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
The creation itself is proof of its Creator the same as a building is the proof of its builder, a painting is the proof of its painter, or a writing is the proof of its writer.
One need only observe the creation to see His supreme intelligence, His superb design, and His power to not only create it but to sustain its perpetual operation.

Dearly Beloved 02/19/22 "The Resurrection and the Proof"

The Resurrection and the Proof
Dearly beloved of God, if God did not raise Christ from the dead we are of all people most to be pitied because we have believed a lie, but God did raise Christ out from among the dead.
The twelve apostles, and about 120 of his disciples were witnesses of his resurrection. Christ was seen of above 500 brethren at once. He appeared to James, and to the Apostle Paul.
The four Gospel records confirm that God raised His Son from the dead. The Church Epistles corroborate that God raised Christ from the dead, as do the other the New Testament writings.
Jesus Christ died in our stead to save us from the reign of sin and death. Everything we have in Christ Jesus depends on God raising him from the dead. His resurrection from the dead is God’s validation of all that he accomplished.
Mohammed is dead, along with all the other imposters that say they are the way to life, but God did raise Jesus from the dead, and He made him both Lord and Christ.

Dearly Beloved 02/18/22 "He is our Helper"

He is our Helper
Dearly beloved of God, shall we lift up our eyes to the hills? From whence comes our help? Our help comes from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Did God help them more than He is willing to help us?
God says to us today, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, “The LORD is my Helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”
This is quoted from Deuteronomy 31:6. God told Israel before they entered the promised land, “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: [Why?] for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
Throughout the New Testament we read that God is our God; He is God our Father.
Does God go with us today? We are God’s dwelling place by the spirit. Yes, He goes with us. Practice the presence of God in your life.
We are His dearly beloved and highly favored children. The Father freely gave us all things with His Beloved Son; He blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm.

Dearly Beloved 02/16/22 "Complete in Christ Jesus Our Lord"

Complete in Christ Jesus our Lord
Dearly beloved of God, Colossians 2 reveals that our hearts are to be encouraged, united in love, even unto all riches of the complete certainty of understanding, unto the knowledge [acknowledgment] of the mystery of God concerning Christ, in which all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.
God desired to make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
As we have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so we are to walk in him. The basis for our walk is in Christ Jesus our Lord and his accomplishments, not in ours.
To walk in Christ Jesus the Lord is to walk in the reality of what he accomplished in his death, resurrection, ascension, and seating at God’s right side.
Colossians 2:10 reveals, “ And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”
“Complete” is the Greek word “pleroo.” It means filled full, completely filled, thus, complete. We are completely filled with all that Christ accomplished.

Dearly Beloved 02/15/22 "The Complete New Birtrh Reality"

The Complete New Birth Reality
Dearly beloved of God, since we received the complete new birth reality of the spirit, we ought to walk in the reality we received.
We can believe the revelation of God’s Word concerning the new birth. We can renew our minds to who we are in Christ and walk in the reality of his accomplishments. We can utilize our sonship rights. We can exercise the privileges that are ours as sons of God. We can operate the manifestations of the spirit and walk with the power of God in our lives. We are capable of living with the love of God as we renew our minds to His Word and Will and manifest it.
Since we received the complete new birth reality, we ought to walk in the reality we received.
Romans 8: 15 Rotherham
For ye have not received a spirit of servitude [bondage], leading back into fear, but ye have received a spirit of sonship, whereby we are exclaiming - Abba! Oh Father!

Dearly Beloved 02/14/22 "We Don't Know When He's Coming, but We Do Know That He's Coming"

We Don’t Know When He’s Coming, but We Do Know That He’s Coming
Dearly beloved of God, the return of Christ draws nearer with every new day. Who knows, it may be today!
Matthew 24 tells us four times that no man, not even the angels of heaven know the day or hour that the Lord Jesus Christ will return. Only the Father knows the time. Mark 13:32 reveals that God has not even revealed when it will occur to His Son.
Those who say that they know when it will occur apparently know more than the angels of God, and God’s dearly beloved Son.
What we do know is that God will send His Son to save and redeem us. God will send His Son, and we will be glorified together with him. God will send Christ to raise the dead in Christ, and change those of us who are yet living so that we will have glorious bodies like his glorious body.

Dearly Beloved 02/13/22 "The Living God and His Living Word"

The Living God and the Living Word
Dearly beloved of God, listen to your Father; don’t take His Word for granted. God our Father is the One True Living God, and His Word is a living Word. Receive it as it is in truth, the Word of God, which effectually works in you that believe.
God our Father reveals to us in His Word that He is present with us, and He is for us; He is not against us. Beloved, He means what He says, and He says what He means. This is His Word, and His Word is the word of truth.
How present is He? We are God’s dwelling place, His habitation by the spirit of sonship that He gave us when we were born again. Knowing this we can practice the presence of God every day we draw breath.
He sealed us with the spirit. It is the earnest of the inheritance in Christ. We are begotten from above by incorruptible seed. We cannot lose it, it is by birth.

Dearly Beloved 02/12/22 "Guess What Today Is?"

Guess What Today Is
Dearly beloved of God, there seems to be a day set aside to honor anything from pancakes, dogs, and trees to presidents; everything except for the One True and Living God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The world sets today aside as Darwin Day.
Darwin is credited with the theory of evolution. Even though this theory has never been proven, supposedly intelligent people speak of it with reverence and passion as though it is sacred. They consider the theory as settled science (Follow the money that funds their research, and you will discover why the theory is so "settled.")
These same people critique the Creator of the heavens and the earth by their limited natural insight. That makes them rather arrogant.
The Word of God and true science come from the One True and Living God, and they agree. The same God that gave us His Word invented the laws that govern life, and the perpetual operation of the heavens and the earth. Pseudo-science is something altogether different. What does God say on this subject?

Dearly Beloved 02/11/22 "He is the Same for Us as He was for Them"

He is the Same for Us as He was for Them
Dearly beloved of God, God our Father is the same today as He was when He was the God of Israel. He has not changed. He is just as mighty and trustworthy and faithful today as He was then.
God blessed Israel under the Old Covenant. Has He blessed us less today than He blessed them? He blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. He freely gives us all things with His beloved Son. Are we less blessed today? I should say not! In Christ we are highly favored in His sight.
Under the Old Covenant the sons of Jacob became members of the nation of Israel. In the New Covenant all who confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead become members of the body of Christ, which is the Church. Which is the more privileged membership?

Dearly Beloved 02/10/22 "The Gospel"

The Gospel
Dearly beloved of God, God may give people revelation knowledge in particular situations, but it is only profitable for that situation. People forget that the Word of God is revelation from God, also, and He had it written down. The revelation of His Word is profitable day after day after day, not just once in a lifetime.
We can pick up the Word of God and read it any time we wish. We can study it. We can memorize it. God's Word is the foundation for our believing. We can grow in the revelation knowledge of God’s Will and learn to confidently walk with Him and for Him.
God's Word is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
The Word of God is the power of God unto salvation. Our believing is founded on the revelation He has given in the Church Epistles. The right way of believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God.

Dearly Beloved 02/09/22 "Misery, Discouragement, or Peace"

Misery, Discouragement, or Peace
Dearly beloved of God, there is nothing good in the old man; he is dead in trespasses and sins. If you think that you are going to improve him by good works, better behavior, or the power of positive thinking, you are sadly mistaken; that is the work of religion. If you want to be miserable, keep trying to improve the old man. It is futile.
If you want to be miserable, focus on the old man, and look within yourself at your past sins, your shortcomings, and your failures. When you look within you will have devilish doubts that will make you miserable.
If being miserable is not enough, and you want to add discouragement to the mix, compare yourself to others, and see how you stack up next to them. That could result in frustration, envy, greed, bitterness, and leave you unthankful.
If you want to be at peace, go to the Word of God and look to Him. Believe who God says you are in Christ, and be thankful. You are a new man in Christ.

Dearly Beloved 2/08/22 "Have You Had Your Eyes Checked Lately?"

Have You Had Your Eyes Checked Lately?
Dearly beloved of God, God wants us to see Him as He is; as the God He reveals Himself to be in His Word. He also wants us to see ourselves through the accomplishments of Jesus Christ as He sees us. He wants us to see Him, and ourselves the same as He sees.
We need to check our spiritual eyesight on a regular basis. Have you had the eyes of your understanding checked lately? Do you see clearly or is your vision blurry? We need to check our vision with God’s eyesight chart.
Do you see God as the Father of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning? Do you see Him as the God Who only gives good and perfect gifts; the God Who has no darkness in Him at all? Do you see Him as Light, not darkness, and Who does not change?
God’s will is only good concerning us. All that He did in Christ, He did by the good pleasure of His will for you. The goodness of God led us to a change of heart to love and believe in Him. Do you see God as only good, and Who leads you by His goodness?

Dearly Beloved 2/07/22 "Why Did God Call Us?"

Why Did God Call Us?
Dearly beloved of God, now we are the sons of God, born again of the spirit from God, born of incorruptible seed. We entered the kingdom of God by being born again of the spirit from God. This is a present reality.
Now we are God’s children, His heirs, and joint heirs with Christ. We are members of God’s household, and we are citizens of heaven. God our Father called us, and in Christ we boast in hope of the glory of God.
Romans15:13
Now the God of [the] hope fill you with all joy and peace in [the] believing, that ye may abound in [the] hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Joy and peace are not in just any hope, but in the hope God has given us in Christ. God wants us to abound in the hope of acquiring the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. God will fill you with all joy and peace in the right way of believing so that we may abound in the hope through the power of God.

Dearly Beloved 2/06/22 "Amazing Grace"

Amazing Grace
Dearly beloved of God, the Father freely gives us all things with Christ; all things, from salvation and sonship to the hope of the glory of God. All of it is ours in Christ by the grace of God because of His great love for us.
Jesus Christ believed His Father’s plan of redemption, and He fulfilled the good pleasure of His Will. He fulfilled all that was required of him so that God could freely give us all things with him.
Jesus Christ was the first born among many brothers. God is not only his Father, He is now God our Father, and we are of the household of God. God is not ashamed to be called our God, nor is Jesus Christ ashamed to call us brethren.
Who could have ever imagined such magnificent revelation full of divine treasures like the mystery of God concerning Christ? In Christ are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge!

Dearly Beloved 2/05/22 "What Are We to Believe?"

What Are We to Believe?
Dearly beloved of God, believing God at His Word is the key to deliverance; that is the right way of believing.
God’s resources are our resources when we choose to believe the revelation knowledge of His Word. Why? God stands behind every Word that comes out of His mouth. He is able and willing to perform them. This is the right way of believing.
I Peter 5: 6 and 7
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt [lift you up] you in due time:
Casting all your care [merimnaō: care, concern, anxiety] upon Him; for He careth [we are the object of God’s care] for you.
How do we humble ourselves before God? We cast ALL OUR CARE upon Him. Why? Because He cares about us. His Word is the truth, and God does not lie. He says that He cares about us, dearly beloved; believe it.

Dearly Beloved 2/04/22 "The Fullness of Joy"

The Fullness of Joy
Dearly beloved of God, truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. God had the truths of the spirit, sonship, and fellowship written so that our joy may be full.
Jesus Christ made the sonship relationship available by his accomplishments, and he sent the promise of the Father. We have a relationship with God that is based on the spirit.
I John 1:3 and 4
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father ,and with His Son Jesus Christ.
And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
Fellowship is available to us because of our sonship; not because of anything we do on our part to earn it. It is not because of our works or worthiness.
God called us unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dearly Beloved 2/03/22 "A Sonship Relationship"

A Sonship Relationship
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ came so that we could have life, and have it more abundantly.
Originally God created man in His image, in His likeness, which the Word of God reveals is spirit. The day he disobeyed God’s commandment he lost that spirit life. Jesus Christ came to restore that spirit life, and he did it more abundantly.
Jesus Christ told Nicodemus that one must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. He said that which is born of the spirit is spirit. This birth gives spirit life, and it is by incorruptible seed.
Jesus Christ said, “ I send the promise of my Father upon you….” Acts 2:32 and 33 confirms that he sent the promise of the Father, which was the gift of holy spirit, and he sent it in the form of the new birth.

Dearly Beloved 2/01/22 "The Goodness of God and the Badness of the Devil"

The Goodness of God and the Badness of the Devil
Dearly beloved of God, there are two gods, not one. The One True and Living God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him, not even a shadow like the changing moon. He does not vary or change. His will is only good towards us. It was the good pleasure of His will to send His Son to save us.
God gave His Word so we could know Him, what He is like, and His will. By knowing the Word of God we can have the absolute certainty of believing in Him. God is who He says He is, and He can do what He says He can do.
Many people today do not know the One True and Living God because they do not know His Word. No one has taught them. Consequently they do not know what He is truly like.
There are two spiritual kingdoms, not just one. One is headed by the One True and Living God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ. The other kingdom is run by the devil, or Satan.
