Dearly Beloved 07/24/22 "We Have a Hope of Glory"

We Have a Hope of Glory
Dearly beloved of God, it is Christ in you, the hope of glory! His return to gather us up to meet him in the air is nearer today than when we first believed. He could return any moment now.
This world is not our true home; we are citizens of heaven. We are fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household. Our citizenship is in the heaven, from where we look for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Since we were raised together with Christ, we seek the things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Set your affection on the things that are above, not on worldly things.
At his coming the Lord Jesus Christ will transform our mortal, humiliated bodies so that they have the same form as his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Dearly Beloved 07/23/22 "The Unlimited Deliverer"

The Unlimited Deliverer
Dearly beloved of God, God is now our Father. What is too hard for Him? Is His arm shortened that He cannot deliver us?
I John 3:1 and 2
1 Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
We are now the children of God. He is our Father. In the new birth we received the gift of holy spirit, which is power from on high. We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Dearly Beloved 07/20/22 "When Will the Dead be Made Alive?"

When Will the Dead be Made Alive?
Dearly beloved of God, all human beings are born as natural men who have a mortal body and soul. The life of the flesh is soul life, and that life is not everlasting life. It is appointed unto man once to die.
To understand this, we must go back to record in Genesis, chapters 1 through 3.
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.
God originally created Adam in His image. According to John 4:24 "God is Spirit."
Genesis 2:7 informs us that the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Man originally had a body, soul life, and spirit life.
Genesis 2:16 and 17 reveal that God commanded Adam not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for the day that he ate of it he would surely die.
Eve ate of that tree, and she gave of it to Adam to eat, also. That very same day they died. When we lose life we call it death. What died that day?

Dearly Beloved 07/18/22 "The Riches of God's Grace in Christ"

The Riches of God’s Grace in Christ
Dearly beloved of God, we should be so thankful that God has shown us the riches of His grace through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ephesians 3:2 reveals that we live in the Administration of the Grace of God, which is also called the Administration of the Mystery in verse 9.
The word “fellowship,” in verse 9 is the Greek word “oikonomia,” which is the same word translated “dispensation” in verse 2. The word “oikonomia” may refer to the act of administering, or the time of that administration.
Had God not shown us His grace, His Divine favor, no one could have been saved, whether they were a Judean or a Gentile.
In Isaiah 42:6 we read that God gave His righteous servant, the Lord Jesus Christ, “for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles.”
God sent His servant, Jesus Christ, as a representative of Israel, “To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.”

Dearly Beloved 07/16/22 "God's Declaration of His Grace"

God's Declaration of His Grace
Dearly beloved of God, God made Jesus Christ who knew no sin, to be sin for us so that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. This is truly a declaration of God’s grace to us in Christ Jesus.
What could we have done by our works to deserve such riches of grace?
Romans 3:23 and 24
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
We are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. He gave his life for us, the righteous one died in the place of the unrighteous, so that His Father could freely give us all things with him.

Dearly Beloved 07/14/22 "Walking in the Bosom of the Father"

Walking in the Bosom of the Father
Dearly beloved of God, no man has seen God at any time because He is Spirit. Jesus Christ came to declare His Father; to make Him known. He was in the bosom of His Father, in His love and will. He always did His Father’s will.
John 3:34
For He Whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for the Spirit [God] did not give the words of God by measure unto him.
The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.
In the lands and times that the Word of God was written, a son would work in his father’s business. Jesus Christ alluded to this when he said, “My Father works hitherto, and I work.”

Dearly Beloved 07/12/22 "God Will Make a Way Where there is No Way"

God Will Make a Way Where there is No Way
Dearly beloved of God, we can cast all our cares upon God our Father because He cares for us. It does not matter what obstacle we may face, God our Father is able and willing to deliver us. God will make a way where there appears to be no way as we walk with Him.
Dearly beloved, we walk by believing, not by sight. Our God is Who He says He is, and He can do what no other can. Is His arm shortened that He cannot deliver? What is too hard for him?
God our Father is our delivering God. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to deliver us from the oppression of the devil, and he did. We are no longer the children of wrath, we are the children of the Living God.
God our Father delivered us from the power of darkness, and He transferred us into the kingdom of His dear Son. It is now a reality; believe it. He always causes us to triumph.

Dearly Beloved 07/10/22 "A Great Lesson to Learn"

A Great Lesson to Learn
Dearly beloved of God, what authority did the Lord Jesus Christ use as his reference for truth?
The Sadducees tried to set a trap for the Lord by quoting Deuteronomy 25:5, and then raising a hypothetical question regarding the resurrection of the dead (a belief they strongly denied). When the Sadducees attacked him, the Lord responded with one single authority.
Matthew 22:31
And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God . . .
Jesus asked the religious leaders of his day if they had read what God said about it in His Word. He was not concerned with their religious dogmas, creeds, traditions, opinions, or philosophies. He was only concerned with what God said in His Word.
Our Lord knew that no man knows any more about matters in the spiritual realm than God reveals in His Word.

Dearly Beloved 07/07/22 "Be Sure you Have the Right Reference"

Be Sure You Have the Right Reference
Dearly beloved of God, how do we learn about the things of God? Do we wake up one morning to flashing lights, and hear a voice that says, “This is truth”? Of course not. To learn we must have a reference for learning outside of ourselves. This is true regardless of our field of study.
The things of God are spiritual matters. As with any other branch of learning, if we are to learn about them we will first have to determine what we will use as our source, our authority for truth.
When it comes to spiritual matters, will our reference be the teachings of theology, religion, philosophy, history, tradition, archeology, a scholar’s theory, denominational doctrine, personal experience, parental guidance, or government propaganda? The source we utilize as our reference will determine what we believe.

Dearly Beloved 07/06/22 "Who Can You Trust for Deliverance?"

Who Can You Trust for Deliverance?
Dearly beloved of God, in what, or in whom do you trust? What or who do you rely on for deliverance as you walk through this life?
If we rely on the ideas of human intelligence, man’s financial resources, and his limited power we will walk according to the course of this world, and be conformed to the ideas of this evil age. If we place our trust in these things we have every reason to worry, and to be afraid.
With man there are incurable diseases, wars, financial recessions and depressions, human rights not God-given rights, inequities, prejudices, injustices, human trafficking, addictions, political exploitation, and the like. Thank God we do not need to place our trust in people.
There is One True and Living God, and He has shown us His love, mercy, and grace in Christ Jesus our Lord. By His great grace toward us in Christ He has provided us with sonship. Surely we can trust our Heavenly Father.

Dearly Beloved 07/05/22 "Domino and Me"

Domino and Me
Dearly beloved of God, when we fill our heart with the Word of God, and begin to think like He thinks about us, and believe the reality of who we are in Christ, we will have confidence towards God, and be at peace; but being people, at times our thoughts may fall short of that bar.
Sometimes I do not always think of myself as God would have me to think. You could say I lose my mind, and I focus on the shortcomings, and failures of my flesh.
From time to time we do not think straight. We become overwhelmed by our emotions, and circumstances.
Dearly beloved, we need to learn to think in the same manner as Jesus Christ thought; he thought about everything in the same manner as His Father thought.

Dearly Beloved 07/03/22 "Living Sacrifices"

Living Sacrifices
Dearly beloved of God, the moment a person confesses Jesus as Lord and believes that God raised him from the dead, they are saved; born again of the spirit from God. They are changed from natural men having a fleshly body and soul life to children of God who are born again of the spirit from God, and now have a body, soul life, and spirit life.
The spirit born in them is incorruptible seed. The new birth spirit is spiritual life. We have the spirit from Him that raised Christ from the dead dwelling in us.
The spirit born in us gives us spiritual ability, and it enables us to manifest the power of God. Every child of God has the ability to operate all nine manifestations of the spirit for deliverance. It is all in all of us.
The new birth seals every child of God for eternal life. The new birth spirit comes with sonship rights, privileges as God’s children, as well as spiritual ability. The spirit born within cannot sin. It cannot get sick, or die. It is incorruptible seed.
The new birth does not affect our minds. We have the same mind after we are born again that we had before we were born again of the spirit from God.

Dearly Beloved 07/01/22 "God's Goodness to Us"

God’s Goodness to Us
Dearly beloved of God, the goodness of God leads us to repentance. Repentance is a change of heart. God does not bring sickness, afflictions, trouble, and death upon us because He is angry with us, or to humble us; He shows us Who He is by His goodness, grace, and love to us in Christ. He is our delivering God.
When God restored the heavens and the earth, He said that everything He made was "very good." He created man in His image, which was spirit, and He gave him soul life, which is the life of the flesh, and a physical body. He placed him in paradise. He gave man His Word, which is the truth.
The old serpent, the devil, deceived Eve, and gave her the lie instead of the truth. He told her if she disobeyed God she would not surely die as God had said, but that they would be as gods, knowing good and evil. He told her that the knowledge of evil would improve on God’s goodness.
After Eve and Adam believed the serpent’s lie they lost the spirit of God that very day. When we lose life we call it death. Years later they lost their soul life, and physically died. Life became disappointing misery for mankind after they believed the serpent's lie.
