Dearly Beloved 08/31/22 "The Unity from the Spirit"

The Unity from the Spirit
Dearly beloved of God our Father, the book of Ephesians exhorts us to walk worthy of the calling in which we are called, with all humility and meekness, bearing with one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity that is from the spirit in the uniting bond of peace.
Then, in the verses that follow Ephesians 4:1-3, we are instructed concerning the unity from the spirit of which we are to keep. There are seven points of unity we are instructed to keep, or guard.
There is ONE BODY. The Lord Jesus Christ is the head over all things to the Church, which is his body. This body is composed of all who confess Jesus as Lord, and believe that God raised him from the dead. We are one body in Christ, whether we were a Judean or a Gentile by our natural birth. “For by one spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one spirit.”

Dearly Beloved 08/30/22 "We Have it All"

We Have it All
Dearly beloved of God, the moment you confess Jesus as Lord, and believe that God raised him from the dead you are saved.
You are born again, begotten from above, born of the spirit from God. The One True God became God your Father, and you became His child.
Now you are a fellow citizen with the saints, and a member of God’s household.
When you were born again of the spirit from God you received everything associated with that birth. You have the totality of the new spirit nature with all of the rights, the privileges, the dignity, the ability, and the inheritance pertaining to God’s children.
You have sonship rights as the Father’s child: you are saved, redeemed, justified and forgiven, and sanctified by the spirit from Him. You have been sealed for eternal life by the holy spirit of promise.

Dearly Beloved 08/29/22 "Salvation Today and More to Come"

Salvation Today and More to Come
Dearly beloved of God, the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.
In Dr. E.W. Bullinger's Lexicon, he says of the word salvation, “Safety, preservation from danger or destruction. Only in a Christian sense, salvation. It is contrasted with death, destruction, and wrath. In its full sense it is still future, for salvation will not be complete till we are redeemed by power and glory from the grave, as we are now by blood from sin. Hence the expression, the hope of salvation.”
Under the word “saved,” the verb form of salvation, he says, “In a Christian sense, to save from death and judgment, (as the consequences of sin) and to bring in all positive blessing in the place of condemnation. To save from the penalty of death and destruction, (not merely to make happy) but to bestow everlasting life as the result of resurrection.”

Dearly Beloved 08/28/22 "Jesus Christ is the Lord"

Jesus Christ is the Lord
Dearly beloved of God, after God raised His Son Jesus the Christ out from among the dead, He exalted him; he ascended into the heavenlies, and God seated him at His right side far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but in the coming age, also.
God made Jesus both Lord and Christ. God put all things under the Lord Jesus Christ’s feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the Church, which is his body, the fulness of him that fills all in all.
God made the same Jesus that they crucified, both Lord and Christ. Jesus Christ is Lord; he is Lord of all. He is Lord both of the living and dead. He is the King of kings, and the Lord of lords.
