Who Can We Trust?
Dearly beloved of God, we have a choice; we can either trust God, and believe what He says in His Word, or we can put our trust in other sources of this age, such as the ideas of people, governments, medicine, the stock market, and trust what they say more than Him.
It always comes down to trust. Do we trust what He reveals in His Word? To answer that question we must ask, is God trustworthy? Well, is He trustworthy, dearly beloved?
There should be no question about God's trustworthiness, therefore, we should trust what He says.
What category do you wish to consider; salvation, answered prayer, the manifestations of the spirit, healing, prosperity, safety, family issues, or some other issue? Is God trustworthy, or do we trust someone or something more than Him?
If God cannot be trusted, we need not waste our time with His Word. I would venture to say that when it comes to trusting God, more of the world place their trust in the systems of this evil age, such as governments, banks, medicine, or businesses, than in God and His Word.
Is God trustworthy? Does He speak the truth, or is He a liar? Are His promises antiquated, and not worthy of our trust?
People have had to come face to face with this question ever since the garden of Eden. Did God mean what He said?
The old serpent, the devil, deceived Eve by His craftiness. He added to God’s word, he subtracted from God’s word, he changed God’s word until it was no longer what God said. He brought Eve to the position that God was not trustworthy, but that he, the devil was trustworthy. How did that work out?
Dearly beloved, we can take God at His Word. If anyone is worthy of our trust it is God. He is not a man that He should lie. He is the same today as He was in the beginning; He does not change.
God is Light, with Whom is no variation, nor shifting shadow like that of the moon that changes its position nightly. There is no darkness in God; none. His Will is only good towards us. His Word is truth. He teaches us to profit. Of all that we could trust, He is the most trustworthy.

Can we trust God when it comes to what He said about the manifestations of the spirit, or should we trust His critics instead? Which one is trustworthy? Read I Corinthians 12:7-11, or John 14:12, or John 16: 7, and 12-15.
Can we trust God with our financial concerns? Read Malachi 3: 6 and following, or I Corinthians 9:6-11. Is He trustworthy or not, dearly beloved?

Can we trust what He says about death? Read Hebrews 2:14 and 15, and I Thessalonians 4:15-18, or I Corinthians 15:20-23, and 50-57, Ecclesiastes 9:5,6,10, or Psalm 89:48, or Hebrews 9:27 and 28. Is He trustworthy enough to believe what He says about death and resurrection?
It all comes down to this; did God mean what He said, or say what He meant? Can we take Him at His Word? Is He trustworthy? Read II Timothy 3:16 and 17, or John 17:8, 14, 17, 26, or II Peter 1:17-21, or I Corinthians 2:12 and 13.
Of all the decisions we will have to make in our lifetime, this is the biggest one. Is God trustworthy? Can we trust what He says?
“Trust in the LORD [God] with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5 and 6
Is God trustworthy, dearly beloved, or is He not? Do we trust what He says in His Word? The answers to these questions will impact every aspect of your life. The answers will determine whether we have peace in our hearts when we face troubles, or we are overcome with fears, doubts, and worries.
Is God really trustworthy? Yes, He is, dearly beloved.
