God is Able and Willing
Dearly beloved of God, Jesus Christ was God’s beloved Son, and he was full of grace and truth. Grace is God‘s divine favor; His friendly willingness to bless us.
John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time: the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared Him.
Being the only begotten Son of God, Jesus declared His Father. He made Him known by always doing the will of His Father, and by performing the works His Father told him to do. He walked in His Father’s love and will. He showed people that God was able and willing to perform His Word.
Hebrews 2: 17 and 18
17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him [Jesus] to be made like unto His brethren [he was a man, a human being],that he might be a merciful and faithful High Priest [priests are taken from men, and they minister for people up to God] in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour [help] them that are tempted.
He knows what we go through because he was in all points tempted like as we are, yet he was without sin.
Jesus Christ ministers at the throne of grace in the heavenly realm, and we are invited to come boldly unto the throne of grace so that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. See Hebrews 4:14-16. He is a compassionate, loving High Priest.
Jesus Christ always did the will of the Father Who sent him while he served on earth, so if we know what he said and what he did, we know the will of God Who sent him.
Acts 10:38
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
God anointed His Son with holy spirit and with power. He went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil for God was with him. Jesus Christ demonstrated the will of God. Healing is God's will for His people. He wants us delivered.
For example, Jesus Christ healed lepers, blind people, a man with a withered hand, a woman who for 18 years had a spirit of infirmity, a woman with had an issue of blood for 12 years, he raised Jairus’ daughter from the dead, and many, many other people.
Matthew 8:16 and 17
16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Jesus forgave people their sins, also. He forgave a woman taken in adultery. He forgave a malefactor as he hung on the cross, and many others.
What about us? Do you need healing or forgiveness?
I Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Jesus Christ fulfilled the Word of God by doing the Will of God. We do not have less access to deliverance today than they had then; we have more.
All the promises of God in Christ are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God!
Jesus bare our sins in his own body on the tree. Now we are dead to sins, and we should live unto righteousness. We were healed by the stripes laid on Jesus Christ. It is an accomplished reality for us. Take God’s Word for it.
We have been justified and forgiven by the riches of His grace, which He abounded toward us. We are righteous now. In Christ, we stand before God without any sense of sin, guilt, or condemnation. We were made the righteousness of God in Christ.
If we go around condemning ourselves it is a self-inflicted wound. God says that we have been forgiven in Christ and by his accomplishments.
The Lord Jesus Christ made peace between God and us. We have access to the Father by the holy spirit which has been given to us. We stand in the position of God’s divine favor towards us in Christ Jesus.
It does not matter if one has been sick for 12 years, 18 years, 40 years, or if one was born with an infirmity; we were healed by his stripes. Our deliverance was paid for by Jesus Christ. God and the Lord Jesus Christ want us healed more than we want it.
In Psalm 103, God says that He heals all our sicknesses, and forgives all our sins, and He said that to servants; we are the children of God. We are dearly beloved, and highly favored in His sight.
We live with the accomplishments of the Lord Jesus Christ. God our Father blessed us in Christ Jesus with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. The comforter has come! It is Christ in you, the hope of glory. You are as he is.
We do not have less access to God and His Son today, we have much better access. We do not have less deliverance available to us, we have much more.
We have been saved, justified, forgiven, and there is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.
We received the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. We have been sealed by the spirit for an inheritance. We have the hope of the glory of God. We hope for the acquisition of the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. We will be glorified together with him when he returns to gather us together.
We have the victory over sin and death. We are more than conquerors through him that loved us. God always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus.
Dearly beloved, the Lord Jesus Christ always did his Father’s Will. He proved that God is able and willing to perform His Word and to provide the deliverance we need.
Jesus Christ said, “…the Scriptures cannot be broken.” That is why he was wiling to lay down his life. God told him that if he laid it down, he could take it again. He took God at His Word. That is having confidence in God.
Every word of God is possible, and God is able and willing to perform it. Take Him at His Word.
Read Psalm 145. If He was willing to do that for servants He most certainly will not do less for His dearly beloved children.
