The Key to Deliverance

Dearly beloved and highly favored by the Father, we walk by believing, not by sight. Everything we receive due to the new birth is by the grace of God and we receive it by believing, not by our works. We walk in this reality by believing God, by believing what He says.
.
God is greater than any circumstance we may face. He had a book written providing us with example after example of His faithfulness to deliver His people when they were faced with overwhelming circumstances. Their only part in the deliverance was to believe Him. These records were written for our instruction and we can learn from their examples of believing.

“Now believing is the assurance concerning those things that are in hope as if they had in fact happened, and the evidence of those things that are not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 from the Aramaic Peshitta

The just will live by believing. All Israel heard the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ, but not all of them believed it. Even though they heard God’s Word, it did not profit them, not being mixed with believing.

If they heard and rejected the Christ, they will not enter His rest. If we believe the gospel of God concerning Jesus Christ our Lord, we will enter His rest.

Believing comes by hearing, by hearing the Word of God. Believing is to have trust and confidence in what God says.

Everything God made available to us in Christ is ours by believing. These things are accomplished realities and they are true whether we believe them or not, but if we believe the gospel we freely receive all things with Christ.

Let us hold fast the confession of the hope without wavering because the Promisor is faithful to His promise!

We can’t see into the future except by the revelation knowledge that God gives us, whether it concerns situations we may face or future events He reveals to us in His Word.

For example, He says, “Morevover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them He also glorified.”

It says that we were glorified, past tense. He speaks of this future event in the past tense to emphasize its certainty. When Christ returns, and he will gather us up to him, we will obtain the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ!

God says that this is certain, so which of His promises is any less certain, dearly beloved?

We ought to have trust and confidence that He is able and willing to perform His promises to us whether they pertain to present realities or to future realities.

God is greater than any circumstance we may face today or in the future. He is the Lord God Almighty, our Heavenly Father. Not a word of His promise shall fail.

There is power in believing because it puts us on the sure footing of the good pleasure of His will and He will perform it as He has promised!

His eyes are searching the earth for those who will put their trust in Him, dearly beloved.

Fear not, He is faithful that promised. Whatever we may face today, we will face it backed by Almighty God; He is able and willing to deliver us.

Go to Him with your whole heart and take Him at His Word. Believe it and you will receive what He has promised.
