The Importance of the Individual

Dearly beloved, God cares about you, the individual.

“God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

He sent His Son to save “whosoever”; the person that believes in him. “Except a man…” is born again “he”, the person cannot enter the kingdom of God. God’s salvation is universally available, but the individual that believes in him receives it. They receive it one person at a time.

“No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, Which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared Him.” The only begotten Son of God always did His Father’s will. He revealed the God Who is Spirit.

No one can see spirit, but they saw Jesus as he spoke the Word of God and he performed the works that God sent him to do. He repeatedly demonstrated the Father’s will by his words and his works from the time he witnessed to Andrew, to the two on Road to Emmaus after his resurrection out from among all the dead people.

The only begotten Son of God ministered deliverance to one person at a time from the woman at the well, to the leprous man, to Simon Peter’s wife’s mother, to the man born blind, to Zacchaeus, to the impotent man at the pool of Bethesda, to the woman taken in adultery, to the raising Lazarus from the dead, to the malefactor crucified next to him. He demonstrated His Father’s love and care for the individual time after time.

We can speak and do the Father’s will today as he did then. Each of us can help one person at a time and minister deliverance to them the same as our Lord did when he was on earth.

After telling his disciples that they were to love one another as he had loved them, and that he would return for them, he said, “Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believes on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.” If the Lord said it, it must be available, and it is!

The book of Acts reveals how they carried out this revelation. They received the promise of the Father, the baptism of the holy spirit, which is power from on high, and they were enabled to do the works he did and greater… they could speak God’s Word and people could be born again and receive eternal life.

Today, we can do the works he did and greater, dearly beloved of the Lord. We have received the spirit and can walk in this newness of life. Now we live in the spirit and we can serve in newness of that spirit.

The spirit from Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in us and it will lead us if we will be led. We are enabled by the spirit of God we received in the new birth; we can speak God’s Word and do the works He enabled us to do.

It is available for each of us to win one person at a time as the Lord did. Each of us can live the love of God and operate the spirit of God to minister deliverance to one person at a time.

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.”

Our Father cares for the individual today the same as He did when He sent His only begotten Son into the world to save them. Show the same care that God has for people, dearly beloved, one person at a time.

Go, stand, and speak all the words of this life. If they believe, they will become His dearly beloved and highly favored child the same as we are.
